[size=16][size=18] I groan as I sit up, looking around me. Mostly forest, nothing too unusual. More animals than I'm used to, but nothing else. I sit there, wondering how the hell I got here. One moment I was biking home, the next I wake up in the middle of the forest. Or maybe it's just a park...I dunno. Then it hits me...the light in the alley way. It was really weird, a swirling vortex or colours that just appeared in front of me as I rode my bike through a shortcut. Maybe that stupid thing has to do with it, like it was gas that knocked me unconscious. Still, that doesn't explain why I'm in the middle of a forest. Kidnappers tend to keep you, and I still have my phone and wallet so it wasn't muggers. So who was it? And they must have been pretty determined...by the size of the mountains next to me, I realize that I'm at least in the Appalachians, if not Rockies or Sierras, all of which are a decent way from Boston. Hell, the Sierras are on the other side of the continent! Well, seeing as I'm not hurt, I'd best call my roommate, or at least my parents. As I start to sit up and reach for my phone, I gasp in shock. My clothes, just jeans and a gaming Tee are still on, but my skin is...is freakin red and scalley! Not all over - skin still shows around the inside of the joints, and the scales aren't lizard hard, but still. What the fuck was in that gas! I look at my hands, and suddenly golden tipped claws come shooting out of my fingers. Then I focus on them, and they retract. Focus, extend, focus retract, focus, extend; I've got cat claws. AND A TAIL! Oh kay...this is really freaking weird. As I reach up to touch my face, I realize that my mouth and nose are a bit longer and more merged. Like a lizards snout, with the pointy canines even. Horns on my nose and spine...and what are these? I finger the leathery folds on my back, are realize...I have wings. I have freaking wings. Thinking about it, I realize something. Gold accented scales, gold claws and spines, gold teeth. Forked tounge, wings, scales. I'm...I"m...I"m a dragon!!!!!!!!Well, dragon human. I stand up and say "Wow my senses are sharp. I hear a snap and spin around to see a bunny a good 700 meters away, see every hair. Smell it, fell the air whistle across my skin. I start to run, as keep getting faster, faster, faster faster until I'm probably close to 50mph, WAAYYY faster than I should be. I don't dare test my wings, as I have no idea how to fly and don't want to risk it.
After a good half hour of running, I seeing something on the horizon; Or more specifically, someone. Getting closer, I realize that that wasn't haze I was seeing. He or she is actually purple. Ah, now he/she sees me. I get closer, and see that he/she has a tail and long hair, wings, and a horn, but not like mine. His/her horn is a shiny purple, and cone like. His/her wings are feathery and soft, and her/his skin smooth. I get closer say "Hey, you know where the nearest town is, and why everyone has sprouted wings and horns?"
"Ummm...your not from around here are you?"
"No, just was biking back to the M.I.T dorms and was sucked into a rainbow portal, then woke up in the forest."
"M.I.T? Dorms? Biking?" Her, for now I am certain that it's a girl, says with a questioning tone.
"I'm really far away, ain't it?" My voice dropping.
"Ya...probably. I'm Princess Twighlight Sparkle, pleased to meet you. And your name is?" she says with a quizzical smile.
Oh shit...what the fuck has happened. I've been sucked into a magical world from a TV show that is still somehow different. Her face is that last thing I see before I pass out.
"Ummm...you okay?" I hear Twighlight's voice, and a strange crunching sound in the background. As I open my eyes, slowly as the light is blinding me I realize that I'm in the library. Books everywhere, leafy ceiling. "Spike! Get down here!"
"What is it?", a grumpy voice call from above, and the crunching momentarily stops.
"Come see"
"Fine"
As Spike walks down the stairs, I see a lanky figure come into view. H-he looks exactly like me! Well, figure wise. He has purple scales and green where I have gold, but otherwise a spiting image. I take this in as he does the same for me, and we both gasp at the same time.
"Y-your a dragon! I thought I was the only one for 5,000 miles! This is amazing! What clan are you from? Heatscales, golden horn, cold peak?"
"I dunno I managed to stammer out. I was going home, blacked out and woke up here."
"You say you blacked out - why?" Twi asks me, pouring over books.
"Well, I turned a corner and was walking down a side street, when a rainbow swirled glowing portal suddenly appears in front of me, and then you know the rest."
"Rainbow!? Are you absolutely sure?"
"Ya, why?"
"Well...I was practicing long range teleportation today right before I went on my walk...and you could have been unconscious for hours even! Describe where you came from."
"Well, the planet is called earth. We have 7 continents, and I live on North America, in a country called the United States of America. I live in a sub-country like thing, a state called New York. I'm a college student in New York City, and live in these apartment blocks."
"Country? State? College? City? Apartment?"
"Twighlight?"
"Yes spike?"
"Doesn't this sound a lot like were you went chasing after Sunset Shimmer?
"Oh my celestia your right! I might have recreated the mirror!"
"The mirror?"
"A magical teleportation device thats a link between worlds (Author - ha ha zelda reference). It took me to Canterlot High."
"Canterlot high! Thats just outside of the city!"
"Well, seeing as your stuck here for at least 2 1/2 years, you might as well learn who I am."
"WHAT! 2 1/2 YEARS!!!!!"
"Ummm...ya, thats the next time the mirror opens and I can't recreate my spell."
"Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!!!!!!!!" I storm out of the library, and take flight, somehow knowing when to flap. Maybe its something the spell did....when in the air, I suddenly crash into something.
