The shadow
The alarm went off at 5:30 pm. I had just gone home from school and was fixing me something to eat. My name is Caelan “Wolf” Smith, why Wolf? Most people knew on steam, my steam name was Wolf Smith, so they called me by that even though they knew my real name. I was an average A, B student,even though I hated school. I'm 14 years old and about 120 pounds and I wear glasses. I've spent my whole life growing up around bronies, my friends mainly. Dylan, Alison,Shadow, Kyle, they was one of my steam friends, and Kat all where bronies except Kyle. For school I was keeping it safe from anyone so I won't get bet up. One day I meet Dylan and Kat, I already knew Alison form middle school and I heard the two talking about My Little Pony(This was before I was brony). It wasn't till about three months ago I called myself a brony. What can I say the show had good writing (most of the time) and sweat characters. Kat one day ask if I want an OC. I have never thought of it. This is where I get my character, Night Wolfe the son of Discord. For me this was a new life, hell I even started writing a fanfic around my character, but soon what will all change.
The day started off normally, woke up at 5:00 waiting for the bus around 6:30. Most of that time I was on my computer, mostly on Steam,Youtube, or FimFiction. As I got to school and went up to my computer class, Microsoft word and Powerpoint. I liked it because of all the free time in there, I would think of new chapters for my fanfic or play games(I'm a big PC gamer). Next, Physical ED. KILL ME. I hated P.E, but my state says it needed. After P.E History, I loved History class I always have and will. My teacher even said my fanfic was good, which was weird he didn't even notice the pony thing. Lastly, Science. I loved science almost as much as history or more. To my friends I was the most rounded, Dylan and Kat stayed beside me all the time, Kat even help me write my fanfic. I was getting home when it started raining, I ran more than I would normally. I entered the door and sat my school stuff down. As I took a seat at my computer(I had no homework) I saw my fanfic gained three new likes, not much for some but a lot for me. My mom was leave for work, she works nights at the hospital, time for me to write and upload.
I was fixing to take a shower when I hear something, something I have never heard before. Many people didn't know but I was nyctophilia, or the liking of the darkness or the night, so this as new. I would normally turn off light’s if I can, but only one was on in my house.
WHOSSCS
I thought nothing of it, but after the third time I went to go see what it was. Jaw dropped, my eyes couldn't believe themselves. The shadow moved around looking for something, or someone. I took note of that shadow.
“No..no..no. Can't be.” I said to myself. The shadow looked a lot like my OC's shadow.
“I must be dreaming, this can't be true.” I said to myself.
“Where am I, what happen.” The character said.
“OK, now I know I'm dreaming.” I said as I slap myself. This was the “smartest” move in my life. The sound bounced all around the hall and the living room where the shadow was coming from.
The shadow turned and started walking to me.
“Me and my big hand.” I said as I just stood there and start shaking.
The shadow turned the corner and in my view I saw the one character I thought I would never see in real life, there in a form I knew him well, Night Wolfe. The son of Discord, the one I wrote about, but why here?
“No please, don't kill me. I know you well, you're Night Wolfe, son of Discord and Nightmare Moon.” I said as Night got closer he jumped at that, he was shocked.
“Um, how did you know who I was and who are you.” Night said as he lit his horn getting a better view, he had his cutie mark.
There he was dark, bluish fur, green eyes. His horn shone even brighter. His tail, just like I made it, just like a wolf's tail. He was bigger than Luna. His wing were HUGE compared with him.
“Um.. I'm Caelan and uh..” Fuck I can't tell him he's a character from a book.
“I just read a lot.” I finished, thank god Night wasn't a good lie detector.
“So..where am I.” Night said, sitting down.
“You're on Earth, and I am..” I was stopped.
“A human, yes I know.” Night said.
I could tell this was after Discord took over, cause of the cutie mark. I thought long and hard. Should he stay, hell what am I saying of course.
“Um... Night you can't get back can you, if you can't why not stay here. You and me have a lot in common.” I said still shocked, but was happy. I can't believe my OC is here in the flesh. I have never felt so happy.
“Uh.. sure I'll stay, but if you call me sire you will DIE.” Night yelled. I just need to be careful.
“Where can I sleep?” Night questioned as he looked around my room, it was a little dirty just a few thing out of place.
“A little dirty ain't it?” Night said as I should him to my bed where he hoped up on it.
“You can sleep over there and yes it is a little dirty.” I replied.
“Thank you, what was it...Caelan .” Night said as he laid down falling asleep.
“Yes, but please call me Wolf without the “E”.” I said as I laid the covers over Night.
The next day the alarm went off at 5:00 and there was Night already awake. He was walking around looking at my stuff.
“Find anything you like?” I said as the alicorn jumped.
“Uh, no but I see you have some cool stuff.” He said. It was so cool to see my OC wondering around.
I had to think I wanted Night to come with me to show to all my friend, but how would I hide him.
“Night do you want to come with me to school, it will be fun. Problem is how would I hide you or can you go invisible?” I said as he turned to me with a smile.
“I can make people only see if they love the dark, see.” Night didn't move he just stood there.
“Uh..are you invisible?” I asked.
“Yes I am wolf, only people who love darkness can see me.” Night said as he grined.
“Good, now should we go wait for the bus.” I said as I grabbed my stuff.
“Why wait? I could teleport us there.” Night said as he walked up to me.
“Ok, then lets go.” I started feeling like I was floating(So this is what it felt like).
“See no problems, were here.” Night said as he turned invisible.
Something just hit me. How did he know where my school was?
“Uh, how did you know where my school was?” I asked as I walk in.
“I could tell where you wanted to go.” Night replied, I simi believed it. “Ok no, but that poster was a dead giveaway
“So lets see here you can hide in the shadow,teleport,” I said, as I pushed open the door, the bell was fixing to ring.
“You are invisible, right.” I was a little scared, for the fact if people see him, I'M DEAD!
Now it's time to see what the others think, sadly only Dylan was there.
“Hi Dylan.” I called as I saw him outside.”I got someone or pony to show you.”
“Oh hi Wolf what is...is that who I think it is?” Dylan said as he got closer, taking in all of Night's figure.
“Yes it's me, only people who love the night can see me and I think you are one of them.” Night said as he flew up and picked up a leaf with his magic, showing he wasn't fake.
“Wolf can I talk to you in private?” Dylan said as I told Night where to meet me and to be careful.
“How,why and he has his cutie mark, so wait Discord has taken over then.” Dylan was one of my proof readers for my fanfic.
After about a minute I went on to my class and there was Night just sitting there waiting for me. I patted him and we went in. All day Night stayed beside me and we talk and shared some different thoughts of the day. Night acted the way he did in my fanfic cool and calm. As school end I went be hide the school where Night teleported me back, maybe Kat and Alison will be here tomorrow. As I entered the door my mom has left a note.

I had to go in early, take care.

Night saw the note and I knew what was going to happen, yep he started crying about his mother Nightmare Moon or luna which he kills.
“Night come on now, I'm sure your mom still loves you.” I said this was my OC. My Night. My little pony.
As I hugged him I could feel his fur, it was so soft and warm. As I pulled away I went to go get us something to eat, I went out to get some hay from my backyard and I got some leftover hot dogs. We just sat there all day going back and forth. Night asked a question and I answered it all day long. He seem to like me and I like him. It was time to go to bed and Night hopped right on up, but this time he got closer. I think I knew why, his mother was gone, hell I didn't even get on my computer. Night was so warm, but huge bigger than Luna, smaller than Celestia.
“Good night, Night” I said as I fell into a little sleep so I could wake up if he need something.
“Good night wolf, and thanks for the good home. You and me do have a lot in common.” Night said as he fell asleep.
I would always love Night and now I have another friend, that make four not counting Skype.
It as a new day and like yesterday Night was up before me just sitting there reading a few of my books.
“You can't read any of that can you?” I ask, he turned a looked at me with a “I'm dead to you”. Night was really sleepy, he cried all Night and I felt bad. Today was Saturday.
“No, I can read a little of it, when I would study I would come across a writing I have never seen.” Night said as he got ready for the teleportation spell.
“No, Night I have no school on Saturday and Sunday, which is tomorrow.
“So what do we do today?” Night ask as me and him went outside to my backyard. Nobody was around us so he could fly around and practice a bit of his magic.
“I’m shocked you can do magic in this world,” I commented as I shivered do to the cool air.
“Well this necklace is helping me a bit I think?” He said sitting under a tree.
“The necklace! He doesn’t know or does he?” I thought.
The day was very calm and around 6:50 we went back inside, as we entered I saw a moving truck pull up. I got some hotdogs for Night.
“Hope you like hotdogs,” I said putting five in the microwave.
“I’ll try them, so your life is good right?” Night said as the microwave beeped.
“Yea, it’s ok, but not perfect,” I said. Night looked around, he was still curious.
Shockingly the rest of the day was still calm and at about 11:00 me and Night went to bed.
“Good night,” I said before falling asleep.
“So Night doesn’t know about Luna, I’m so screwed!” i said to myself.

Chapter 2
The lost of magic and a secret
The next morning I woke up to a sick, sleeping Night. He had a small fever and was tossing all in his sleep. He slowly awoke and he stopped, something wasn't right.
“Night what is it, you look hurt,” I whispered to him as he laid back down.
“I... all my magic its gone. Urm,” Night replied to me.
I had one little problem, my mom was coming home today. I don't know what to do should I tell her or find a way to hide him. Poor Night, without his father he couldn't pull that much magic. Without Discord to give power he can't do anything today.
“Night we got a problem. My mom is coming home and you can't hide!” I yelled as Night covered his ears.
“You've got to be joking me.” Night said back, even though he was sick and tired.
“NOPE.avi.” Told you I was big PC gamer.
Night looked confused, but I would explain that later. Right now I...

“Fuck!” Night yelled, he stole the word right out of my mouth.
I could hear the truck come to a stop. The gate opened and I could hear the lock become unlocked. Right about that time Night tried hiding in my backroom, but it wouldn't work. He was to big too fit.
“Caelan are you awake and what was that noise?” Night knocked over a ball and it was flat so when it dropped, it dropped hard, man why must I have hardwood floor.
“Wolf bring her up here,” Night advised as he got back up on the bed.
“But what if...” I was stopped.
“Caelan?!” My mom called.
“OK! Fine I'll go get her but if she faints you are carrying her,” I called back as I walked to go get my mom.
“Oh, there you are. I have” I stopped her.
“Mom I've got someone I want you to meet,” I said shaking in pure fear.
My mother opened the door she turn to her right. Standing there was the one pony I wanted her to see. Night was still feeling sick, but he was able to get down and walk to my mother.
“Mrs. Smith was it, yes Wolf here talks about you all the time,” Ok first off why is Night talking like that and my mother almost fainted.
“Caelan y-y-you have some talking to do.” I was dead, as the words left my mother's mouth. I dropped, dead.
As we walked into the dining room, Night followed close behind me. My mom kept turning back to look at Night. I could tell she though she was dreaming. Night kept looking up at her and when he would she would turn her head back. We sat down at the table and Night hoped on one of the chairs, I was shocked mom didn't tell him to get down.
“Ok..Caelan start from the beginning,” My mom called to me as I patted Night.
“Mom I don't get it why are so confused, yes an all powerful being is here.” I stopped, Night opened his mouth.
“Yes Mrs. Smith, why are you frighten of me,” Night replied.
“Caelan how long as he been here and is he 'Good',” My mother asked as she looked back at him.
She tilted her head, I think she finally saw his wings and horn. Remember in our world this was the thing that the government would come after.
“Yes I am good. My father is the god of chaos, Discord. Sadly my mother is dead. When my father took over we killed the two who stood before us. The one named Nightmare Moon was my mother in a different form, Luna,” Night looked over and I nodded my head.
“So wait your” I stopped her.
I whispered in her ear. “Don't say that he might freak and trust me you don't want him to freak,”
She nodded and I sat back down.
“Night, yea Night you're different from which Caelan was talking about. Oh Caelan what with this 'Wolf' crap.” My mother said with that, You are so dead look.
“Oh remember how most people on steam call me that, well he calls me that,” I commented.
“I still don't believe this. Caelan is this one of your jokes,” My mom said as she stood up.
“So you don't believe me, I'll show you,” With that Night picked up a fork with what magic he had at the time.
“WHAT! You are real,” My mom screamed.
“Mom calm down, he won't hurt us he will protect us. Right Night?” I turn and he nodded yes.
We went on, my mom would ask a question I would answer or Night would.
“Sadly all my magic is gone right now, so I can't do anything magic wise,” Night said and with that she sent me and Night to bed.
“Wait come back here,” Me and Night stopped in our tracks. My mom gave me something.
It was the phone. Oh hell I said to myself, dad. That phone call lasted about two hours and he would come home tomorrow and for me to stay home.
My dad was home and like yesterday we went through the whole thing again. My dad keep bringing up the point that the government might come after Night.
“Mr. Smith I don't think that your government will come after me,” Night replied to every time he brought that up.
My dad keep talking about how Night was going to kill us all, HA. Me and Night both keep laughing at that and like my mom he didn't believe Night was real. The one thing Night show him was he could fly, so my father just went to bed and left me and Night there at the table.
“Your parent think I'm not believable. Hun, only kids could believe,” Night said as we laid down.
The next morning my parents were waiting for me and Night to come down. My dad took a good long look at Night. His horn and wings, fur color, and eye color. I went to get something for Night to eat and when I was gone my parents kept asking Night to do things to show he wasn't fake. I came back to a flying Night.
“Wow, Night I see you're feeling better,” I said as I ducked my head as he flew overhead.
School was canceled do to a freak snow storm. It was near that time where I live to start getting snow. I think my mom believed Night more then my father, knowing the fact that she already knew him a bit from the story. My dad keep asking Night to let him feel his fur, I think my dad kept thinking he was dreaming.
“Dad, I assure you aren't dreaming,” I called as I laid the hay down for Night.
As Night was eating I was explaining thing for him, his past, family, magic, flight, and other things. I think my dad finally understood that Night was here to protect me and he can't get back home.
“Night do you want your own room,” I looked back, it was my dad that said it. Night and I just stood there smiling.
My dad went to one of the closets and cleaned it out. We then took an old mattress and laid it in there. I took an old cover and pillow and laid it on it, I also got an old lamp and put in there so he could read. The closet was near my room so if Night need something he could call me.
The next morning school was back in and my parents were a little scared about Night coming with me. When he teleported me to school he landed hard, I think he used most of his magic, at least he could go invisible. I was so cold frost began to form on my noise. After a bit Night snickered to himself.
You know for an alicorn Night is no where near Oped as people say he is. After a long talk, about 30 minutes I left to go home, but I was stopped. So close to the garage there stood the school's bullies. The smell of gasoline made me hack up a bit. The boys walk over as Night flew high, landing on a roof top looking down at me
“Well well well,” The voice came from behind as I turned I bumped into something larger then me. I looked up and there was the school bully and his little buds.
“I heard you had a new friend, but I don't see him,” He commented. Looking around trying to find my new 'friend'.
“He around here you just can't see him,” By this time I was shaking, I hoped Night had some magic in him. Hopefully something would happen, maybe he would have a magic surge of energy. I knew that if he did he would fall, due to no energy.
I turned and looked up on a building and I could see him waiting for the right moment. His wing flared up ready to fly in and save the day and maybe not pass out.
“Well if no one is around I guess it time for a nice punch,” As the words left his mouth I could hear Night jump down. His eyes looked like the one when he face Shining back in chapter four of the Fic.
“What do you think you are doing!” Night yelled. His horn started glowing. My heart stopped, if the boys could see him I would be dead.
The group looked all around trying to find where the voice came from. One of then even started walking away.
“W-w-who's there!” One of them screamed.
“Oh lets just say the son of chaos,” Night replied back. Night smiled, that smile he has always done before fighting anyone or pony.
The boys still came closer, one almost hit me with a punch. I fell back, it didn't hit me, but I knew if I stood they would hurt me. Night jump right into action he blasted one of them with all his magic that he had at the time, the boy went flying. The others scrambled after that. Night was so tired that I had to carry him home, but you think I could carry Night. I pick up his head and he was knocked OUT. I called my mom to come get me. As I laid Night in the truck she asked me what happen and what is he.
“Well first that freaking group of bullies caught me and Night off guard. They jumped me and Night saved me. He's not bad he's good,” I whispered trying not to wake the poor alicorn.
“And for what he is, he's an alicorn,” I commented as the car turned out of the lot.
I say the look on her face, it was so funny.
“An alicorn is” I was stopped, I turned back and Night was sitting up.
“An alicorn is a cross between a pegasus and an unicorn,” Night finished as he laid back down.
We got home and my dad was gone to town. I laid Night in his bed with a glass of water and some hay. I had to keep him really up bet. I know how hard it must be to have no power and to have no mother. Around 8:30 Night woke up and he came into my room when I was listening to some Daddy Discord by dBPony. He ask to listen to it and I let him, he seemed to like it.
When my dad got back he came in with some old baby monitor. I had a feeling he would put one in my room and the other in Night, so if he need me he could just call me. As we went to bed Night was wondering what happen to his bag that he had.
I just said. “Maybe it's somewhere else,”
Me and Night would look for it in the morning, but right now Night and I were so tired when we laid down we both didn't even tell each other good Night. Maybe now my parents will like Night, he can be really helpful.
The next day we went on a hunt for Night's bag, but to no avail.
“What was in that bag?” I asked.
“Oh just a book on magic that's all, I'm sure I can find it,” Night replied as we came home. Nothing really happen today, beside trying to find that book.
As I laid down Night came into my room.
“Night what is it?” I asked as I stood up.
“Can't I come in here where its warm?” Night asked jokingly. I looked at him, it was like 12 degrees out.
The room was lit, but barely. Night had to light his horn just to see where he was going. I was sitting there looking at some old photos of my dogs and an old friend that left me for dust over the Summer. The T.V was unplugged, I haven't turned it on in about three years, I have watched mostly Youtube Videos.
“Uh..sure, I guess,” I replied to him.
“Wolf, why did those boys come after you like that?” Night looked so confused as the words left his mouth. I could tell Night was worried about me. I think Night is thinking of me as Videyo, someone poor and helpless. Now I could fight, but I would loss fast.
"I don't know." I said trying to walk around the question, but sadly Night could pick up on my voice and tell I was lying. He looked at me with that 'I'm not dumb' look.
"Wolf, tell me I'm not dumb you know," Night said as he hopped up on the bed.
“Night, I'm bullied everyday,” I started crying. Night looked at me with a small smile forming.
Night look at me and crawled over. I could feel his hooves wrap around me, the warmth of his fur, and his wings wrap around me. I looked up and saw his green eyes, I think I saw a tear fall. Behind Night I could see my mother looking in, I think she began to cry.
“Caelan, I will always protect you, if you protect me,” The words left Night's mouth. I could feel a new power in Night.
“Night, thank you,” Me and Night turned, my father and mother were standing there, crying.
I didn't say anything, both of my parents came and we all hugged. That was the first time I've seen my father cry. Both of my parents knew that Night is my new 'pet', about a year back all three of my dogs died.
After my parents left Night laid down and I covered him up and he keep looking back, seeing if I was ok. I kept thinking, will Night really be my new friend and will he cause some chaos, cause I would love to see that. Night started crying.
“Night, is this about your mother?” I asked.
“No, its about how your life is so hard, I'm really sorry,” Night commented, looking back at me.
“Well Night no ponies life is perfect, not even yours right,” I replied as Night turned back.
“You're right, me and my father have fought two times now. My life isn't perfect, Night called back.
I hugged him, his crying slowed and we laid back down. Maybe one day Night and his father will get together and cause more chaos, I don't know if that will happen. I'm just waiting for Night to start cause chaos here.

Chapter 3
A new friend P.1
Friday, a day every kid loves, but me I hated it. SO MANY TESTS! I let Night stay home today, he was really tired. I got to school via bus and when I walked inside the principal stopped me.
“Oh dear, don't tell me someone found out,” I said as I walked up to see a person about 6' 7' standing behind him.
“Caelan, say hello to Andrew Clark. He's new here and I want you to show him around,” Dr. Davie told me.
“He come from Washington, state. I choose you cause all the teacher said you need a break from work,” He finished.
Sadly that's true, I have worked my butt off, Christmas is around the corner and I wanted some steam money. I had about three Bs and one A, My mom liked that. I snapped back to the real world to a voice.
“Hello...Caelan is it,” The voice said. He walked in front of Davie. He was wearing a 20% cooler T-shirt, so I could tell something about him. He loves MLP.
“Uh...Yes, Andrew was it,” I replied back.
“Yes, so you'll be showing me around the school, I heard I have the same class as you. Well most,” Andrew said back.
“So, wait Dr. Davie, I don't have to go to class today,” I called to him as he started to walk off.
“That's right, you have the day off. I told them to call you, but I guest you didn't get it,” He called back as the bell to go to call rang.
Andrew Clark was a 15 year old dark haired male. Although from his look, you might guess him to be in his twenties. I kept thinking of the whole “How's the weather” joke, but I'm the not the person to be the bully.
We walked and talked all day about different things MLP, Pc gaming, and school in general. When it was time for lunch normal I wouldn't eat, but today I thought so, me and him sat at a table and no one was really there.
“Must be chili day,” I joked.
“Ah, sorry if I don't talk much,” Andrew replied.
“Meh, its ok. I'm use to not getting much talk,” I said back.
School was ending and I saw Andrew hoped on my bus. I looked at him.
“Uh are you on the wrong bus?” I asked as he sat across from me.
“Bus 389 right?” He replied back.
“Yes, wait don't tell me you live near me. You're the person that moved beside me,” I commented.
“I think so,” He replied back.
I just let that be. I put on my headphones and when we got home sure enough he got off right beside me. Little did me and him both know things were about to change for the better and worse. My parents invite him over for dinner while his parent got things done. I told Night to go invisible, but little did I know Andrew was nyctophilia. Andrew entered my house and guest who was standing in front of the door, Night.
“Oh hi Wolf I found my.......book. He can see me can't he?” Night looked at Andrew's face and sure enough he fainted. Around 11:50 He awoke, me and Night were sitting there talking about a few things when we heard foots the the ground.
“Oh ya...” Andrew said out loud, just remembering what caused him to black out. This grabbing the attention of the two.
“Oh, Andrew. You’re awake.” I said with a sheepish grin. Andrew was about to respond, but could only open his mouth without word. After a few seconds of thought to what to actually say, he was confident in what to say.
“That’s a...pony,” Andrew said, gesturing to the gray creature.
“I believe you mean ‘alicorn’,” It corrected.
“Ok, that’s an alicorn,” Andrew said, again gesturing to the alicorn.
“Hi Andrew, meet Night Wolfe, son of Discord,” I commented. This earned yet another peek of interest from the recovering giant.
“Son of Discord? As in ‘flesh and blood’ son?” Andrew replied, nervousness clear in his voice.
“Yes as in ‘flesh and blood’. I’m the son of not only Discord, but also Nightmare Moon,” Night replied back, looking at me.
“So, he’s from...Equestria then?” Andrew asked, getting shakier by the second.
“Andrew chile, he won’t kill us. Right Night?” I asked the alicorn.
“Hay Night, go outside for a minute,” I said to Night.
Nights ear perked up and he left. I closed the door and looked at Andrew.
“Andrew, how do I put this...Night....he’s my OC,” I whispered to Andrew.
“Well, oddly not the most surprising thing to hear today,” Andrew said, slowly potting his head into his hands. After a few seconds of silence, Andrew stood up. “Not that this hasn’t been fun and all, but it’s getting late and I should probably be checking on my dog,” He said, before walking out the door.
The next morning I walked over the Andrew's house with Night in tow. I was wearing one of my Discord T-shirts. As I walked up to the door and knocked Andrew told me to go get a different shirt. I was confused, but I did it anyways. I return a few minutes later, as I knocked on the door Andrew opened it hold a notepad.
“Hello Andrew, what was that all about. Just tell me later, I think you remember Night here.” I said as he took a seat. I could smell some bacon and the smell of a dog. I remember that smell really well, I had 3 dogs, one part wolf. I noted that his house was sorta small compared to mines.
“Well, I’m sorry about shooing you off earlier” Andrew said without looking up from his notes. “It’s just that I couldn’t have the risk of what might be my end,”
“No problem, mate” I said with an Australian accent. I really need to lay off TF2 “Exactly what did you mean about ‘your end’?”
“I'll get to that in due time,” Andrew said, waving him off. “Firstly, tell me everything about your o- friend here,” Andrew asked, catching himself mid-sentence.
“Well, I’m from Equestria, I am around a thousand years old, and I am the son of chaos,” Night began. Andrew looked up from his notes with a face that would suggest that his mind was just broken.
“This just got complicated” Andrew commented after a brief pause. By some ironic coincidence, the door opens to wolf carrying a bloodstained leg of a dear. I was really confused by this point. Night looked at him and I could tell something was going to happen.
“Hey Andrew, I brought home a...” The wolf trailed off at the sight of the two new guests. “Andrew, why is there a pony in your house?” He finally asked, not breaking eye contact with the Night.
“Andrew, why didn’t you mention you had a wolf that could speak?” I asked, looking somewhat happy as well as confused.
“Seth, meet Night. Night, meet Seth,” Andrew hastily said. “Now that you two have met, I believe it’s getting late and-”
“Andrew, calm down,” Seth interrupted him before turning back to Night. “Let me introduce myself. Eclipse. Seth Eclipse. Warrior of the Wolven Empire.”
“Nice to meet you.” Night began. “My name’s Night Wolfe. Prince of Equestria and son of Discord. Well my father calls me a prince, but I don’t like being called a prince,”
Something didn't seem right, that wolf or Seth looked like he was going to kill Night. The two Equestrians locked eye, neither making a single movement. Andrew looked like he was going to pass out. I could tell by looking in that wolf's eyes he didn't like something Night said.
“After a thousand years, my brethren shall have their revenge,” Seth growled, digging his claws into Night’s shoulders.
“Get off!” Night yelled, forcing Seth off of him with all his might. Andrew pounced again on the wolf, this time able to contain him.
“Seth, stand down!” He yelled, barely holding his grip on the struggling wolf.
“What the hell,” Night scoffed, standing from his attack.
“Back off, Andrew. This is a between me and his dad,” Seth yelled, jabbing Andrew in the chest with his elbow. Andrew fell to the ground, releasing Seth from his grasp.
“Thank god my grandfather taught me some military training,” I yelled as he jumped on Seth, knocking him down to the ground. In real life I do have some training.
“You humans don’t take a hint, do ya?” Seth muttered before taking a bite at my arm. With a yelp, I released Seth, who bolted towards Night again, free of any other obstacles. However, Night had other ideas.
With a black aura forming around Seth, he was levitated a good foot off the ground. The wolf hung there, trying to free himself from the translucent bond, to no avail.
“What the fuck are you doing,” Said Night as Seth hung there, floating in the air.
“Exacting the revenge that my brethren have been waiting for for the past thousand years!” Seth yelled, making himself back flip within the field.
“Andrew! You got some talking to do!” I yelled, Night looked at him. In Night’s eyes, Andrew could see a fire that couldn’t be put out.
“Caelan, this goes deeper than I wish to go into.” Andrew said, shaking his head. “ It’s has to do with his-”
“My past,” Seth began, glaring the three of them. “My past was ruined because of his father. Hundreds of thousands of lives were lost do to his father! It’s because of him that my family no longer exists! Your dad started a war and nearly committed genocide on two different species along the way. It’s because of him that to this day I can't look at a pony and not see the thousands of innocent lives I was forced to kill!”
With his rant complete, Seth sat in his weightless sphere, watching the others reactions. Night’s expressen was one of complete shock and confusion to the new information. Mines was a lesser version of this, but still impossible to miss. Andrew only looked to the ground, a face of sadness for the loss of the wolf. Finally, Night spoke.
“No,”
Everyone in the room turned towards the alicorn.
“No,” He repeated. “My father may be considered a tyrant, but he’s a loving father. And what was this about killing others? My father hasn't killed anypony, I should know cause I keep him in check all the time,” I turned and look at Night, his face showed that he knew what Night was talking about.
“If you consider my life and all the other live that were lost a lie, you are begging for a death wish,” Seth snarled.
“What are you talking about? Nopony has died due to my father,” Night replied looking at Seth.
Both OCs looked at one another, Seth still looked madder than hell and Night looked confused. Me and Andrew both looked confused, they knew something was very wrong. Me and Andrew both looked at the two, watching the unfolding chaos. Andrew nodded to me and spoke low enough so that I could only hear.
“This is what I feared,” Andrew explained, a stoic look across his face. “They are beginning to find out,”
“Find out what? That they are from different universes?” I asked.
“That’s just the tip of the iceberg. If they found out they are from different universes, it could lead to them wondering how they found us. See, Seth is my OC and Night is yours. We created them, and in turn...” Andrew hesitated for a moment. “...we created their past.”
There was silence between the us as the words sunk in.
“So, you're saying that you, more or less, killed those wolves?” I asked, nervousness in his tone.
“Indirectly, yes. I caused every horrid memory that has impacted him,” Andrew replied, turning his gaze to the floor.
“Well, that’s not good for me then,” I said. I remember back to when I made Night kill Luna, he had no idea till later in the story.
“Should I ask?” Andrew asked.
“Night killed his own mother because of me,” I replied, I turned to Night who was still confused after this, I hope they didn't hear us.

A new friend P.2
“What?” Andrew said, turning to me, I was less than confused.
“Ya, I sort of made Night kill his mother,” I said
“You made him kill his own mother?” Andrew replied. “Never mind the life scarring trauma, but what kind of plot development is that?” I looked at Andrew it toke me a second to realize what Andrew said.
“Ya, I probably need to set my priorities straight,” Andrew said.
My mind is black, all I see is me...writing the story. Discord hoped Night would never find out about Luna. Night going through hard times living in the Everfree forest, Celestia and her not telling the full story, and Luna haunting him in his dreams. Fuck if Night knew what was happening now me and Andrew are dead. If Night found out know about Luna, his heart would turn black and stone cold. Where Discord when you need him?
“What the freak just happen?” I asked as I looked around trying to see what hit me. I never felt a hit like that.
“Huh. A bit rash, but effective none the less.” Andrew said, stroking his beard. I looked so dumbfounded, yes I almost had a mustache, but darn he almost had a full beard.
“Not to break up this... what ever this is,” Seth called to the group. “But shouldn’t you be in a bit of... well, horrific pain from that bite I gave you?”
I looked down at the hand Seth bit, he was right why wasn't I in pain.
“You’re right, why am I not bleeding?” I asked, confused “ Also, shouldn’t the two of you be murdering each other?”
After what felt like for ever, Andrew told me everything that happen while I was black out thinking about Night.
“About the whole ‘can't hurt each other’ thing, any ideas there?” Andrew said, sitting down on a sofa.
Seth raised his paw. “Would that mean that we can't hurt you guys?” I had a bad feeling about this.
“I doubt that we can’t hurt-”
Before Night could finish, Seth took a slash at Andrew’s arm with his paw.
“Oww! What the hell?” Andrew yelled as he clutched his bleeding arm.
“Ok, so I can hurt Andrew. So why didn’t I even break skin with you here,” Seth casually asked.
Andrew stood from the couch and walked off to the bathroom to treat his wounded arm.
“So, as I was saying before you did that,” Night began, shaking his head. “I think we can hurt our companions, like I did with Wolf here,”
“Wolf?” Seth asked.
“I like to be called Wolf” I explained. “ You got a problem mut, I’m still mad at you for what you did to me early,”
“But, I don’t think we can do lasting damage to the other person.” Night elaborated. “When you attacked Wolf here, he just felt immediate pain. This would be like if you were to aggravate a nerve, it just lasts for a brief period unless there is a continuous sources of aggravation. Since Seth didn’t break bone or even cause a bruise, he must have just aggravated a the surrounding nerves. Why this happened is again beyond me,”
Andrew walks in from the bathroom, his arm covered in a bandage.
“Let me demonstrate,” Night said before punching Andrew on the already injured arm.
“Ahh, what the fucking hell is wrong with you people!” Andrew yells, gripping his arm again.
“Uh Andrew, they are not people they are Equestrians,” I commented.
“See, he isn’t bleeding again. It was just aggravation of nerves,” Night explained with pride. With that comment, Andrew used his uninjured arm and gave Night a rather hard uppercut. Night did read a lot, but sometimes even Discord would get aggravated.
“You know what, fuck all of you. I’m done with this...what ever the hell this is,” Andrew yelled before storming out the door.
Seth spoke. “What did I do?”
Night rubbed his jaw. “Ok, firstly, oww. Secondly, you slashed his arm,”
“Right...” Seth replied.
Andrew stormed back inside, still furious. “This is my house!” He said as he walked into the kitchen.
An awkward silence filled the room; all that could be heard was the sound of Andrew most likely fixing himself a sandwich for an early lunch. Seth, feeling he needed to justify his actions, spoke first. I could care less for the mut, I don't care if he said sorry.
“Truthfully, I doubted that it would actually work,” Seth commented. Andrew and I gave him a less than enthusiastic face.
“What? Actually cut him?” Night protested. “That's what usually happens when you slash somepo- someone,” Night caught himself, I was shocked.
“Fine, but what did you prove by hitting him in the arm? Usually people don’t bleed when they are punched,” Seth retorted.
“Hey guys, I’m going to check up on Andrew and see if he’s not bleeding out or anything.” I said, grabbing no one’s attention.
“Well, it could have ruptured a blood vessel or something from when you took a chunk out of his arm,” Night said.
I stood from the couch and walked into the kitchen to see Andrew leaning on a counter over a toaster oven.
“Hey... how’s your arm?” I weakly asked. I felt bad for him, his own OC hurt him.
Andrew turned to face the guest. “Well, besides hurting like hell, it’s doing rather well.” Andrew said with a small smirk.
“Zecora pun intended?” I asked, taking a chair of a round table.
“What p-” Andrew started, realizing what I said earlier. “Oddly enough, not really. How are the two boys out there?”
I sighed. “Their arguing over why they attacked you,” A metallic ding broke our conversation. Andrew turned to the oven and pulled out a salami sandwich and placed it on an awaiting plate.
“You want a one?” Andrew called over to his friend. “It’s smoked salami”
“If you insist.” I said, as my stomach growled.
Andrew pulled out a knife and halved the sandwich, and grabbed a second plate. Joining me, we ate, not caring about the conversation in the background. This was a very good sandwich and very hot.
“Speaking of the our OCs, is it just me, or are they starting to become real?” Andrew asked between bites. “I mean not as in alive, but as in actually having life. They seem to have their own emotions and characteristics that I could never dream creating,”
“Ya, I know what you mean,” I replied. “Night and I are pretty close. I’m looking out for him and, in return, he’s looking out for me. That’s the strange thing though, he never has cared for any other pony except himself or anypony effecting him,”
“Than that's saying something then,” Andrew explained. “You are a big piece of his life to him, bigger than you let yourself see,”
“Huh, maybe you're right” I said, standing from the table and I grab our empty plates. “Lets go check out how the two are doing being left alone,”
After we stowed away our eating wear, we walked into the living room to find a rather odd site, even for us.
Ten minutes earlier
“Fine, but what did you prove by hitting him in the arm? Usually people don’t bleed when they are punched.” Seth retorted.
“Well, it could have ruptured a blood vessel or something from when you took a chunk out of his arm.” Night quipped.
“You're still dragging that back out! How about we call this even and move along,” Seth said.
“Agreed. So, you're a diplomat?” Night asked.
“Oddly enough, after a life of military training, I’m now a royal diplomat for the equine throne,” Seth explained, resting himself on a couch cushion. “How’s the life of a prince?”
“Uh, well three days isn’t very long, so it’s hard to say. Me and my father had a big fight before I came over here, so yea,” Night replied.
“So, in your universe, are the sisters still alive?” Seth asked.
“Sadly, no. Celestia is frozen in stone and Luna is dead. Something about Luna makes me think about Nightmare moon, my mother,” Night said as he hung his head low.
“Well...Sorry to hear your loss,” Seth replied, looking away from Night.
“What loss?” Night asked.
“What do you mean? Tell me now,” Night demanded.
“Nightmare moon... is Luna...”Seth hesitantly explained.
“What do you mean?” Night said, his heart dropped.
“Luna turned to Nightmare Moon when she fell to her hate. After the elements of harmony defeated her, she returned to her normal self,” Seth elaborated.
“You lying, Nightmare died and I killed Luna. Nightmare is not LUNA!” Night yelled.
Andrew and I ran into the room, I looked to Night I could tell he was angry.
“What's going on?” Andrew said.
“Nightmare is not LUNA!” Night screamed. “You fucking liar, I knew I couldn’t trust you,”
'No...no, this can't be happening' I thought. If Night found out I'm doomed!
“Night calm down, I got something to tell” I was stopped.
“NO! This little mut is telling a lie higher than Celestia,” Night said.
“Night, calm HE’S TELLING THE TRUTH!” I scream, tears started pouring down my face. I can't believe I just did that, what was I thinking. I couldn't lie like Discord and if I did it would have been harder on him. I'm a monster for doing this! Andrew and Seth were gone, it was just me and a now crying Night.
“Night, I know what you've been through,” I cried. I moved closer to him and sat next to him.
“NO you don't, I've killed my own mother!” Night yelled. “And I have fought my father,”
“Night, that necklace was owned by Luna, that's why you have the nightmare with her in them,”
“Wait, how did you know about the necklace?” Night asked. He looked down at the necklace and cried out more. I thought Night would never cry, well at least in this world.
“Night, I have written your whole life. The fight with Discord, the necklace, Celestia, and Nightmare and Luna. I'm sorry!” I cried back.
“So wait, you mean to tell me that everything was caused because of you,” Night said. His voice was getting angrier. 'What have I done' I thought to myself.
“Night calm down, please,” I said. Night stood up and looked down at me.
“NO! Because of you all of my life is like it is. I was beginning to wonder how come you knew so much like the necklace, the fight, and Nightmare. But what really gets me mad is the fact you made me kill my own mother,” Night commented. There was only one other thing I had to tell him and that was that he's an OC
“Night I'm sorry, but in this world you are what we call an OC or original character,” I replied back. More tears form and rolled down my face, I didn't want to tell him, but it had to be done.
“I'm a what?” Night asked, there was still anger in his voice.
“An original character,” I replied. I didn't know what Night would do, but me killing his mother would make it hard.
“I made up your whole life, you're from a book,” I cried out.
“So everything about me is a LIE!” Night was mad, but he would find out sooner or later.
“Dude, we talked about this, we can't say-” Some voice began.
“Wait, you were in on this too?” Night yelled facing the newcomers.
“Let me tell you something, Seth is Andrew's OC, he made up Seth,” I commented, sadly I didn't know Andrew and Seth were behinds us.
I turned around and saw Andrew in pure shock. “I’m sorry Andrew, it’s now or never, if we told them later, it could be worse,”
“What do you mean ‘made me up’?” Seth asked Andrew, much annoyance in his voice.
“Well, technically, you were from a book I wrote...” Andrew began, slowly backing away from the peeved wolf.
“So you are trying to say I’m from a book? You...” Seth began, only losing himself in this train of thought. “...No. I can't just be from a book,” He mumbles to himself.
“Both of you are, please, we can explain,” I said, as my tears were clearing up.
“Ya, Caelan can explain this,” Andrew said before backing up.
“Uh.....No, Andrew you’re helping me,” I said.
“Andrew, what the wolven hell are you keeping from me!?!” The wolf yelled, pouncing on Andrew and pinning him to the ground.
“Well... Caelan’s right. We unknowingly created you,” Andrew explained.
“That has already been stated. How did you create us?” Seth demanded again, now raising his claws to Andrew’s throat.
“I don’t know! I just was bored one day and decided to become a writer. I thought up you and decided to create a novel! I’m not sure of Caelan over there, but it’s probably similar to that,” Andrew stuttered.
“That’s about the same way,” I said, Night had picked me up so I couldn’t move. What am I to do, me and Andrew could die right now.
“So what your telling us is that you both created our lives and past?” Seth questioned, pressing down harder on Andrew’s throat. “You killed off countless lives because you were bored!?”
“Night...please I’m sorry let me down and I explain all I can,” I yelled. “Seth let Andrew go and we'll explain,”
“No, I like where he is now.” Seth said. “Plus, what is there to explain. You have basically nearly killed off two sentient races, murdered the equine throne and made Night over there kill his own mother for wolven sake. What more do you have to say?”
“Celestia is not ...dead,” I was being almost choked. “She’s just frozen in stone, and right before Night came here I was going to write were Night finds out his mother,”
“My point still stands, we have basically lived through wolven and pony hell, all because of you two!” Seth stated. I looked over to Andrew, he had passed out do to Seth.
I looked back over to Night, in his eyes I saw a flash of hatred. I could feel Night's energy grow, more and more of Discord's power was showing through. Why didn't I just make Discord tell him?
“Night I know what it's like to lose a love one,” I began “I started writing my about you after grandma died,”
“Ya, and I lost my entire team, my parents, and my own brother. Join the club,” Seth retorted, climbing off Andrew.
“Why are you after me, I have done nothing to you, Night should be the one doing this,” I commented.
“I couldn’t lash out at him over there,” Seth said, gesturing over the inanimate corpse. “You seemed like a likely candidate for ridicule,”
“Seth back down, I’ll handle him,” Night finally spoke. “Now tell me, WHY!”
“We didn’t know what we were doing, here writing is just for fun. I didn’t know you would be alive and here on Earth,” I stammered.
A sudden gasp for air caught the attention of the alicorn,wolf, and me as Andrew stood up in a bit of a panic.
“Seth... I really hate you sometimes...” Andrew said as he stood to face the others. “How long was I out?”
“Not too long. You didn’t miss much.” I replied from within the magic aura. “All I have to say is.....Seth I hate you,”
“And what the wolven hell did I do to you?” Seth barked.
“You told Night about Luna being Nightmare....urg,” I choked.
“Ya, but Night brought up the subject in the first place!” Seth retorted.
“He has a point there.” Night added.
“Ya, but Andrew should have mentioned something to me about having a wolf that loathes Discord.” I protested.
“Ok, how did I get back in this?” Andrew said before entering a coughing spasm due to his injured throat.
“You didn’t tell me that Seth would gladly kill my best friend!” I replied.
“We are friends?” Night asked, gaining my attention.
Night jumped back a bit, nopony or person has thought of him as a friend, yes Dark was there, but Dark was just a teacher. Night dropped me, I looked up and saw more tears forming.
“What do you mean, yes we're friends,” I respawned.
“Really? Usually friends don’t choke each other.” Seth commented.
“Night, just let Caelan go. Friendship is magic.” Andrew begged. I facepalmed. I thought 'Really Andrew, really'
“Uhh, not you too.” Seth groaned. “I thought I left all that ‘friendship’ stuff in Equestria.”
“One thing I forgot to say, I had no friends at the time of writing about Night, so this was my getaway from life, that and video games,” I replied, trying to get air. I know I had friends on Skype, but friends that I have meet in life, I had no friends. Dylan was just someone who wanted a good read. I thought of him as a friends, but not to the point where I would say it, me and him didn't mix.
“So wait, another reason is because you had no friends?” Night replied.
“Yep, and all three of my dogs died before you came along,” I said.
“You hold canines as pets?” Seth stammered, looking from me to Andrew. “That’s slavery!”
“Seth, I’ll explain this to you later,” Andrew reassured.
I sat there for a good minute and then felt something soft wrap around me. I opened my eyes and turned my head to the left and saw Night hugging me. I tried to push him off, but he wouldn't move knowing how big he was, hell he was almost my height.
“Night, please get off,” I cried. “I’m going to go home, come when you want to,”
After that I went home to see my parents have gone out to town. I went up to my room and checked the Fimfic page to see how many likes the stories has gotten. I pulled up the page to see that the story has been deleted due to inactivity.
“No...no,” I start crying again. I go to lay down on my bed, but couldn't fall asleep, frankly I was feeling sick. The thought about why I wrote Night Wolfe is still flying in my head. The necklace, the story, but know all that maybe gone. I would write it in FimFiction, so when it's gone, it's gone, I cried more. 'If the story got deleted then Night would be gone....for ever' I said in my head, still trying to recover from what just happen at Andrew's house.
I stood up from the bed, I need to see if this theory was right. If the story was deleted then Night would not still be at Andrew's house. I ran out the door and turned to my left. This is the hardest so far today I've ran, but I couldn't care.
I ran up to the door and busted in, seeing Andrew Seth still standing there. Seth looked angry again and Andrew looked scared.
“ANDREW!” I started “Is Night Still......here?”
I found and looked at Night who was still standing in the same spot. I didn't care for Andrew or Seth all I could care for is that my closest friend is still here.
“You...” Andrew began, standing from the floor. “You just destroyed my door,”
I ran over to Night and started to hug him.
“What the” Night was stopped, he looked down and saw more tears form.
“Night, I thought I lost you,” I cried.
“What do you mean?” Night replied, he looked up with confusion.
“The story it-it-it was deleted!” I yelled.
“What do you mean?” Night asked. “Wait, if the story was deleted then why am I still here?”
“I don't know, but I just happy,” I said as I pulled him closer.
Walking back to the group, Andrew turned to me. “So, you had to basically- no, literally broke into my house to tell him that?”
“You know, sometimes you’re a real killjoy, you know that?” Seth called from in the living room. “Also, getting back to the topic here, Night’s story was deleted?”
I stood up and brushed myself off. “Yes, but who did it I don’t know. I went on FimFiction and I got a notification saying the story was deleted for inactivity,”
“Well, just looking at the brighter side here, Night’s fine and better than ever,” Andrew pointed out. “So looks like everything is good for him,”
As me and Night stared off into nothing, Andrew went up to his room.
After a minute Andrew called down. “Caelan! We are either being trolled or we are being hunted.”
Andrew came down and told us about Seth's story being deleted, me and Night took our leave and went home. As we came home my parents pulled up in the driveway and called Night and me into the house. They didn't like the fact that the phone has been ringing and nobody would pick it up. About three hours of explaining things to them me and Night went up to my room.
“What does he mean 'we're being hunted',” Night asked.
“Tell you the truth I don't know,” I replied shaking my head. “Listen I just glad to still have you here,”
“Don't tell me you're going to start crying, you've cried so much I could fill a pint size glass,” Night joked. I didn't get mad at him, cause sadly he was right, I've never cried this much.
“No, just go lay down and wake me up if you get up before me,” I stated as Night left for his room. I still feel sorry for Night, but right now me and Andrew had more things to worry about, who deleted the stories.

Chapter 5
The broadcast and chaos
Sunday, my dad is gone my mom has to work and no school Monday, a life every kid wants. When I finally got out of bed, I went down to the kitchen. I stopped by Night's little room and saw he had been up, but went back to bed. I shook the poor alicorn trying to get him to wake up, finally after about ten minutes of trying to wake him he turned around in bed and looked at me with the “I'm dead” look.
“Ever heard of letting a pony sleep,” Night grogally said. “I don't know if I can even stand up,”
I looked at him for a second and saw what he meant. He looked really out of it, this reminded me of when my parents learned about him.
“Ok then, I just wanted to know if you want something to eat or drink,” I commented. He turned back over, this is the sickest I've ever seen him, all that fighting must have really drained him.
“Just a glass of something...tea would be fine,” Night said as he tried to prop himself up, but he was so weak.
“Ha, just sit down and I'll keep an eye on you,” I said as I left for the fridge. I came back to Night who finally got himself to stand up, prop against the pillow.
“Night, be careful you know without Discord you can't do much magic,” I said as I sat down next to him as we both took a swallow from our cups. I was so sleepy like Night, so I thought of something to do.
I stood up and went to my room to grab a book. I would have gotten a radio, but the batteries were dead. I saw Night's book he brought with him and grab that. I walked back into Night's room and saw him messing with his necklace.
“Still mad at me?” I asked. He looked up to me and stared back down to the necklace.
“A little, but I can't fully blame you. You didn't know I would be real,” Night answered. I handed him the book, he looked at me and smiled.
“You want to learn about this don't you?” He asked. “Well I don't know if you could do magic,” He point to my head.
“Urg...no I want to know how to read it,” I replied. “Remember the language we write in is different,”
After an hour of Night teaching me, I still couldn't read. My mom woke up and asked if me and Night have ate, we both shook our heads no.
“Well do you want anything?” My mom asked as she came into the room and saw Night looking as sick as a dog. “Is he ok?”
“Well after what happen yesterday at Andrew's house, he is very drained of magic,” I replied, Night shook his head in agreement.
“Night, do you want anything?” I asked. I knew he felt sick, but he had to eat.
“Uh....pancakes would be fine,” Night respawned. I told my mother the same thing and she was off.
“Thanks!” I called. “So, Night you eat pancakes?”
“It won't hurt to try now will it?” He smirked. I rolled my eyes and stood up and went to my room and grab the radio. I went to the kitchen and saw a pack of batteries and pulled out two AA. I put them in and turned on the radio. I was leaving and my mom gave my our plates and two forks.
I walked back into Night's room and put down the plates and the radio. Night grab his plate with what magic he had and began to eat. I tuned the radio to a well known station, funny it was the town's own station. After a few minutes I picked up our plates and put them in the sink. I came back to Night listening to the radio, he turn back and smiled.
The radio announcer was talking about how most school were closed for Christmas.
“I didn't know you had a whole week off from school,” Night spoke as I took my seat.
“Tell you the truth after what has been happening, I forgot,” I chuckled. The next thing I heard shocked me.
“And in the news, Caelan Smith, best known for being a big PC gamer and one of few trying to make it through Southern Wayne High School is now known for beating up three Juniors. The kid was reported going behind the diesel shop when the three boys started to beat him up,” The announcer stopped.
“Ha, I can't believe this is what is so important,” I laugh, Night joined in. I called my mom and she came and start to listening with me and Night.
“The report is to be fully true, anyways A blast of “magic” launched the boys and left Caelan almost as fast as they came,” He stopped and chuckled do to the “magic” that happen, he started again soon after. “The major thing confusing people is this one picture post on our website. If you go look at our site, Granthamradio.com.”
“Mom go check that, I have a bad feeling about this,” I said, she stood up and went to my computer, which was on, I never turn that thing off. She pulled it up and turn around in the chair.
“Caelan, we got a problem,” I stood up and walked into my room. “Caelan, remember when I picked up both you and Night?”
“What happ....en,” My voice lowered. The announcer came back on.
“Good everyone is on, We see young Caelan holding up what looks to be a “pony”,” He stopped.
“Night, we got a problem, a big problem!” I yelled to him, he was still listening to the radio.
“Yea I know,” He called back.
The announcer started again, but with someone new. “Right now I have the guy that took the picture, Tell me what was your first reaction,” He asked the person.
“Well as we know, this creature is an “alicorn” or a winged unicorn. By my guess this is a brony fanfic gone wrong,” He stated, I ran back into Night's room. Right as soon as I got in he spoke.
“Ok, why does that sound like me, but darker,” Night asked. I shrugged, I didn't even know.
“Tell us do you think Caelan will be going to some “base” to be “talked” to,” The other guy said.
“I hope... I mean it would be nice to see how people would react,” The other one said.
“By the way what is your name?” The host asked.
“I go by many names, but you can call me Randell,” Randell said.
“Who the freak is this “Randell” guy,” My mom said still listening to the radio.
“I don't know, but just give a few days and people will call this a hoax,” Night said from his room. After all of this my mom went and called in sick, she didn't want to leave me and Night and something happens.
Me and Night went our all day thinking about all of this. We listen to the radio all day, hearing new and new “News flashes” about this new problem. Of course many bronies hopped right on it and tried to find my house. They failed thank god. Later that night my dad came home to eat and take a shower, he was a trucker and he would come home on the weekends, but he was close to the house and came over.
My dad came into my room where I was sitting watching T.V. Surprisingly there was no news station talking about this, my dad knock on the door and came in. He sat down next to me, I think he heard everything on the radio.
“How is Night taking things?” My dad started, I was confused because I didn't tell him anything. “You know with the whole he's from a book,”
“How did you know?” I asked. I looked back to the T.V when I said that. It was about five o'clock and the news started to play. My dad looked up with me and what we saw would really get Night, Andrew, Seth, and me thinking about this “Randell” guy.
Everyone in my house went to the living room and took a seat in a chair or on the floor. I stopped by Night's room and saw the door was closed, I would have let him sleep, but this was really important.
I slowly opened the door and spoke to the sleeping alicorn. “Night, wake up we need to talk about things,”
Night slowly woke up, He stood up and walked out.
“Feeling better?” I asked. “Or do you have things on your mind?”
“Yes I'm feeling a lot better, I feel like all my magic is back and a few thing are flying around in my head,” Night said as we walked into the living room.
After everyone took a seat my dad turned back to the news channel. The first thing to come out of that T.V shocked my dad, but not the rest of us. I news reporter started. “Hello and thanks for joining us tonight,”
He paused and turned to the other reporter, he spoke. “The big thing in today's news would be this one radio broadcast and a picture posted on their website,” He stopped and the camera changed to a green screen and they showed the picture.
“Ah fuck,” Night stated, both of my parent we just staring at the screen.
“Right before us is this young boy name Caelan Smith which was seen beating up three high school teens, The boys told the local radio station that they were defeated by a “magic blast,” The news report said. “Sadly the boy that took the picture is now in jail for fraud, many people say the photo was photoshopped,”
“Ha! Shows him right,” Night yelled making everyone jump. Both of my parents looked down at Night and realized how “big” he was.
“Caelan, how big is Night?” My dad asked. My father was never really home, only on Fridays and Saturdays.
“Well when I was writing him I pictured him at about five feet tall,” I said. Night cringed at this, I think he's still mad about knowing he's from a book. “Night come on at least you're almost as tall as me,”
“Yea *sigh* you're right, just the thought of my life not even being real and the fact I shouldn't be alive is really getting at me,” Night replied.
“Poor Night, so “young” and so many problems,” My mom commented. “How old is he again?”
“Oh about 1,000 years old,” I said. Night shook his head yes and the news came back on.
“Right now we have the three boys who were “blasted” by “magic”,” The reported said. “So tell us what happen,”
“Well we tried to “beat up” young Caelan, which we are sorry for. Well we saw him heading for the diesel shop and we stopped him. Next thing we know we heard a voice,” He was stopped by the reporter.
“Tell us what was the voice,” The report said turning to the camera.
“Well that's hard to say, but where it came from is beyond us,” The “leader” of the group said. “We started and a voice called out “What do you think you are doing” it said. One of my boys asked who's there and it replied “Oh lets just say the son of chaos”.”
“Well thank you for your time and maybe Caelan will forgive you,” The reporter said.
“Well tell us what you think people at home, is this real or fake?” He asked. “Tell us what you think by calling this number,”
“Oh dear, more people probably bronies,” I thought. After all that the radio station came back on with some phone calls from people. The first one would really get me thinking about Night and his problems.
The announcer came on and put the call through. “So tell us what do you think?”
“Well believe it or not, but I think all of this is real. Caelan had written a story around the pony in the picture. His name is Night Wolfe and he’s the son of Discord, the god of chaos. He killed his own mother and when he finds out he's from a book Caelan won't have a good day,” The guy started, it sounded like Randell from earlier. “I may not be the person of reason, but believe me that picture is real,”
“That is all for today and tune in tomorrow for more on this, goodnight to all,” The announcer finished. My dad turned off the T.V and turned to me.
“Son tell us what's going on,” My dad said.
“Oh dear, might be easier if I get Andrew over, trust me. I'll call him over when I can, something is going on between his and my life something you guys won't understand if I told you, let me just get a hold of Andrew and we'll explain,” I said. Night left for his room probably due to his problems. I followed close behind, after today something just ain't right.
I followed Night into his room and closed the door. “We are doomed,” Night said as he laid back down in his bed.
“Tell me about it, still who is this Randell guy?” I asked. Night shrugged his shoulders and turned over.
“I don't know, but yea who is this guy. He seems to know everything about me and you,” Night said as he turned back over and faced me. “Tomorrow we need to talk with Andrew and see if he heard any of this,”
“I think he has, but if you're not feeling well then I'll bring him over and we can talk then,” I said as I left Night to get some rest. When I got into my room I saw that my steam was opened and about a thousand messages later I had a clean screen. I was going to look up some stuff about how Night and Seth could still be here after the deleting of the stories.
After an hour of searching things I found something that caught my eye. I skimmed over the page and read a few paragraphs. Finally it all made scent, Night and Seth still have ties with us. If we still have them in our minds, then they could still be here alive, but if we die or forget they're gone forever. I printed out the page to show to Andrew, but first I had to see if Night was awake to show him.
I opened Night's door and saw he was still awake listening to different newscast about this. I walked over and turned it off and handed him the sheets of paper. He pick them up with his magic and started to read. “Thank god he could read our writing” I said to myself.
“Caelan, all I have to say is, don't forget about me,” Night joked, but had that hint of “really don't”.
“Trust me I won't forget my first best friend,” I commented. “Night, tell me something....Do you like me as a friend?”
“Why wouldn't I, you have helped me make it through this world. I don't care I'm from a book, just as longs I have someone to help me is all,” Night replied and looked at me. “At first yes I was mad that I'm not “real”, but I know see that anything can be real,”
“Yea *sigh* you're right anything can be real, even an alicorn OC,” I joked. Night laughed at that, I think he has finally fully forgiven me for what I have done. I left after Night gave me back the papers.
I tried to lay down and sleep, but all of what happen today really scared me and I'm sure Night was the same way. How does he know all of this, why does he sound like Night, and why must it be now? All of this going through my head.
“Just don't forget any of this,” I said to myself. Both of my parents came into my room and grabbed a chair from my closet.
“Caelan, we really need to talk,” My mom said as she unfolded her chair and took her seat.
“What is there to talk about? The whole town now knows about me and Night. Bronies will be knocking at my door very soon, what is there to talk about,” I said as I laid down and turned over in my bed away from my parents.
“Why did you write Night, you never told me or your father,” My mom said. My mom was right I never told them why I wrote Night.
“*sigh* I wrote Night to get away from life, I wrote him in my image of my thought of the god of chaos if I was his son. Night is sorta a image of me, that why that mark on him is the Lambda symbol, I could care less for anyone right now. Plus I play way too much Half-Life,” I chuckled. “Mom you know I started writing about this after grandma's death, but he just fills that emptiness that nothing other than him could fill.”
“You do know that Night will be not be able to stay for ever, he's going have to go back home soon,” My mom stated.
“That's the main problem is that me and Andrew are having that problem, can they get back home and this Randell guy, Night can't get home. He has no magic due to not being with Discord,” I replied.
“Well thanks for making me look strong,” Night entered and took a seat on the bed with me still laying down tuned away. “You know Caelan, you're not to bad as a creator. Your also a very good friend any alicorn could as for,”
“Night, how long do you'll think you will stay?” My dad asked.
“Well like Caelan was saying, I probably won't be able to go home. I hope Discord isn't going to miss me,” Night replied. Both my parent shook their heads and left, I had a really bad feeling that they like the whole alicorn living for ever in this house.
“Night, I know today a lot happen today, just go back to sleep. Tomorrow I'll get Andrew over and we'll have to explain things to my parents and I need to show him the paper I showed you,” I said as Night jumped down.
“Well *sigh*, good night. Maybe Discord is doing ok without me there,” Night said as he left.
“Maybe Night is right, so young so much to learn, Still I wonder what Discord is doing with Night, if he's still alive,” I said as I turned off my light and feel asleep. The next day would be a big shock to everyone that knew this.
The next day my parents woke me up and told me to get dress and come down to the dining room. As I starting to the dining room I stopped by Night's room and saw he was already up, I also checked the time and saw it was about eight. I stepped in the dining room and saw Andrew, my parents, Night, Seth and Discord.
“Is that....Discord?” I stuttered. “That's the freaking god of chaos in my house with his son. One second as I pass out,”
I passed out, it all hit me a little too fast. Discord, my favorite villain is in my house with Night at his side, a dream come true. I could tell that's the Discord from my story, by the way he kept hugging Night as I walked in, but how is he here with the story being deleted? I woke up in a chair with both of my parents looking at me, Andrew, Night,and Discord talking. Seth was in the living room asleep.
I stood up and walk over to where the sink was and I start to wash my face. I turn around and still saw Discord, surprisingly they haven’t seen me yet. I walk over to the table and I step on a bone Seth had brought and I yelp in pain.
“AWWWW! Freak, I need to start wearing shoes more often,” I look up and saw now, Night, Andrew, and Discord looking at me. Seth got up and came into the room to and took a seat beside Andrew.
“Ah look who’s back from pass out street,” Night said before walking over to Discord. “Caelan, I think you know who this is, am I right,”
“Discord, god of chaos and your father,” I said as I took a seat next to where Night was. “Does he know that he not ‘real’”
“Yes he does, we just got done telling him that,” Andrew said. “So, you did hear the news yesterday, right?”
“Yea, we got big trouble. Wait, yesterday around that time Night got most of his power back. So you mean to tell me around that time Discord got teleported to your house,” I said before getting back up and headed for the cabinet and grab a cup. “Anyone or pony want one?’
Everyone shook their heads yes, so I grab six cups and bowl for Seth. I filled them and handed them to the rightful person.
“So what are we going to do with this Randell kid?” Andrew asked as he took a sip from his cup. “And I don’t know if this is good or bad news, but remember how the stories are deleted? Well I did some research about all this and well....”
“Come on tell us,” I said. Andrew looked down and finished.
“They won’t be able to get back home,” He looked back up and saw my mom and dad wided eye. “I’m sorry guys, but all the magic in the world can’t get them back. We better be happy we still have our OCs,”
The room was quiet, everyone was looking at each other. Night and Seth took and long look at me and Andrew. My mom finally broke the silence. “So you mean to tell me I now have to live with the god of chaos and his son, not to even get into your pet Andrew, but how will we live?”
“We will live a normal life, well as normal as we can, but it won’t be that hard, right?” Night said as he looked over to Discord. “Right Discord this is Caelan or Wolf, our creator,”
‘Please, I didn’t make Discord, that my version of him. I don’t want a copyright notice on my front door anytime soon’ I said to myself as Discord got up and walked over to me.
“So you made me and my son?” Discord asked as he spawned a seat. Both of my parents jumped at this.
“HOW,WHAT, how did he do that!?” My dad said.
“My father is the god of everything chaotic, hell he is chaos,” Night said as he looked down in his cup and saw he drunk it all.
“Something just hit me, Seth don’t you hate Discord?” I said as I gestured over to the chimera.
“Well yes, but remember how I hated Night till I learned he’s from a different world, well yesterday when Discord got teleported into our house I jumped right into action, but then he said ‘have you seen my son?’. I stopped and Andrew reminded me that this is a different Discord, so that’s why I’m not killing him,” Seth said as he turned to my parents. “By the way I’m not a PET! I’m Seth Eclipse,”
“That wolf just spoke,” My mom said pointing at the OC.
“Uh yea Mrs. Smith, Seth is my OC,” Andrew said as my dad got up and left for the living room.
“Let's all head in here, all of this is too fast for me,” My dad said as he took a seat in his favorite chair.
“OK then, So how was last night with Discord,” I asked Andrew.
“Fun, he didn’t cause much chaos cause of Seth and other problems,” Andrew replied.
As we entered the living room my dad turned on the T.V. We all took a seat, the two OCs sat on the ground and Discord spawned a seat big enough to fit him and somepony other than him. We all looked at the T.V, on it was the news and like yesterday they were talking about me and Night.
“Wait, you mean to tell me that you’ve been bringing Night to school?!” Andrew said turning to me and Night. As I was fixing to answer there was a knock at the door.
“Hello, Andrew are you there?” The voice called.
“Ah fuck it’s my dad,” Andrew said as he looked terrified.

Chapter 6
Night’s journal
Day 1: Well I’m screwed. After that little fuck up I did I’m now in a whole new world. There’s this human that calls himself Wolf, but his real name is Caelan, he seems ok. I’m writing all of this after about a day since I came here and a lot has happen.
1. I can’t do much magic 2. Wolf knows a little too much about me 3. Not only does his parents know, but know some new kid does.
I wonder what Discord is up to, he’s probably running around trying to find out where I am. Well really that’s all I have right now, maybe I can add more.
Day 2: Ok. What the fuck just happened?! Let me start out slowly, me and Wolf head over to the new guys house and then he tells Wolf to head back and change shirt. When he came back we all went inside and we started talking about me, then a wolf came in. Andrew tried to make me and Wolf leave, but that wolf that did come in started to talk! A wolf started to fucking talk! His name is Seth Eclipse and when I mentioned I was the offspring of Discord he jumped on me trying to kill me. What is it and people or ponies hating Discord, again he’s not that bad.
So after a bit we found out that Caelan loves passing out standing up, ha. We also learned that we can’t do lasting damage to our human friends, like I can’t hurt Andrew, but Seth can.
Well anyway after finding out we are from different world me and Seth began to talk about our past, he told me that Twilight brought him here to give peace or something like that, but when I was talking about Luna and Nightmare he said something about Nightmare being Luna? It took me a second to realize what I did, I killed my own mother! I started to call him a liar and then Caelan and Andrew came running into the room. The next thing Caelan said something about he was telling the truth and Andrew and Seth left for his room I think.
So it was just me and Caelan sitting there in the living room, he started to cry at this point. I was mad and confused, how did Caelan know about Luna and Nightmare? He stated that he has written my whole life, that I’m not real. Oh I was madder than hell, my whole life is a lie and this kid made me kill my own mother. I was really fixing to kill him before Andrew and Seth came back in. Right when they entered Caelan said something about Seth being Andrew OC, oh the look on Seth was funny.
The next thing I knew was Seth knocking Andrew out and Caelan pleading for me not to kill him, after he explained a few things Andrew got back up. Finally me and Seth got an answer, I still can’t believe my whole life was written by a 14 year old! I don’t know how long it was, but Caelan said something that changed my life for ever.
“You didn’t tell me that Seth would gladly kill my best friend!” He replied. “We are friends?” I asked, gaining his attention.
I have never had a real friend and now I had one. He said that he really never had a true friend, that’s why he always tried to stay away from people at his school. I dropped him from my grasp and started to cry more. I felt sorry for the poor fella, so I did the only thing I could do....Hug him. OK it wasn’t A full on hug, all I did was wrap one of my wings around him. He pushed me away and left, that poor kid, AH, what am I saying? I the fucking son of Discord, but ever since I got here I’ve been different.
So anyways after Caelan left, Andrew and Seth have their little fight and I tell Seth if he lays a paw on Andrew, I’ll fucking kill him. Well after a bit Caelan came storming back into the house and ran right over to me and began to give a me a bear hug. Andrew looked shocked at the fact Caelan knocked down his door, after Caelan got himself together he start telling us why he came bursting into the room.
The stories that Caelan has written about me was deleted! Me being a fucking book nerd, I knew what could’ve happen. I look down and then back to Andrew and I asked to myself. “Why am I still her?”
While me and Caelan where catching up, Andrew went up to his room and checked on Seth story, which was also deleted. Well after all of that me and Caelan went back to his house to some very angry parents.
Oh the look on Mrs. Smith was so funny. After telling them what happened, I really had nothing to say, they let me and Caelan go to sleep. Around four o'clock I got up from my bed, I couldn’t sleep. the fact that Discord might be worried about me was still pulling at me.
Day 3: Oh me and Caelan are so dead. Why did I even go to school with him....I’m an alicorn not some PET! Someone named Randell got a picture when I was weak and Caelan’s mom had to come get us. I want to destroy that radio, but I just didn’t have the power. After a full days of questions that we couldn’t answer, Caelan dad came back home. I was alone for most of the time while Caelan was in there on his computer, which I need to ask him how to use it.
He came back with papers in his hand and gave them to me. I looked over them, my heart raced. The papers were talking about OCs and how they should be gone if the story was deleted.
“so how am I still here.” I asked myself. I look over the paper more and began to cry on the inside.
The last thing on the page read. “If the person has a strong ties and if that person doesn’t forget, then the OC could still be real.”
I looked up to Caelan who was standing there. “Caelan, all I have to say is, don't forget about me.” I said. Caelan grab the paper and talked about how he wouldn’t forget his best friend. He also asked if he was a good friend. It took me a second to respond, “Why wouldn't I, you have helped me make it through this world. I don't care I'm from a book, just as longs I have someone to help me is all.”
Right now I don’t if I want to stay with Caelan or try to get back home, but that’s the problem CAN I!
