All her life, Rainbow Dash dreamed of joining the Wonderbolts, the most elite stunt flyers in Equestria. When she is finally accepted onto the team, her excitement knows no bounds. She vows to do whatever it takes to earn the position she’s been granted, with hopes that she might become captain someday.
But some of the Wonderbolts have been keeping a dark secret. True, they're talented flyers in their own right, but they've been taking a little something to give them the edge they needed to become even faster. They offer their elixir to Rainbow Dash, and, feeling pressure to fit in and not let the team down, Dash begins to take these performance-enhancing drugs.
At first things are going great. She's flying faster, lasts longer in the air, and can pull of all kinds of tricks that weren't possible for her before. But soon Dash’s health begins to take a downturn, and she’s more emotionally charged and irritable than ever. Plus, the more drugs she takes, the more she wants, and she soon begins to spiral out of control.
Can her friends do anything to help Rainbow Dash sober up before she destroys her life?
