Chapter 1:
You know those mornings you feel something is wrong? Twilight woke wit that feeling on a seemingly normal morning in canterlot. As she looks around her room she feels a sense of dread. As our purple mare gets out of bed, she is happy to find spike fast asleep. Twilight emerges from her fancy king-size bed to view herself in the mirror.

Twilight) I can not believe it has been exactly 1 year since my corination.

She looks down at her wings. She softly laughs at the thought of her first month with wings, how she would have both wings high in the air. She gets dressed in her usual princess clothing, and proceeds to breakfast and morning chat with her luna and celestia, her fellow rulers. As she approaches the dining hall, twilight hears Celestia shouting.
She heads to the main room where the thrones sit, to find Celestia shouting at Discord. As several guards accompany her.

Celestia) I do not believe you. You are the only one who could even do it.
Discord) I am telling you, I had nothing to do with it.
Celestia) what were you doing last night? Where were you?
Discord) (in an angry tone) I was sleeping, in- my- bed.
Celestia) listen you thing, if I find out you had anything to do with this, you better pray to the equinox that I do not get my hooves on you!

Celestia storms off, with the guards behind her in an ordely line. Twilight hides behind a column, as her dear friend walks out of the room. She comes out of hiding when she knows that discord and herself are alone in the room. She approaches Discord slowly, who has his back turned to her.

Discord) you've come to blame me too?
Twilight) I do not even know what is going on.

Discord turns around, holding the decorated box where 5 of the elements of harmony should lie. He opens the box….

Twilight) empty?! What happened to the elements?
Discord) (shrugs) I have no idea, and I am the target of false accusations. I thought I was trusted. Appearantly I still have to "earn" my place.
Twilight) Discord, I believe you.
Discord) hmmm, that is so meaningful coming from the mare who forgives everybody.
Twilight) I am serious, we have all gotten to know you. You have changed.
Discord) But why would Celestia think I would do this? I mean, I did this twice already. Of course the first time I met you. Also when your friends….

Discord stops speaking, and sees tears immediately fill Twilight's eyes.

Discord) well you know.
Twilight) (looking out of a window) it is alright, I know you tried. I miss them too, and I know you miss Fluttershy the most.
Dicord) yeah (looks down)
Twilight) but this makes no sense, Celestia would never act like that.
Discord) do you not understand? The elements are missing. This will send the kingdom into panic.
Twilight) one of the main lessons Celestia has taught me, stay calm. Which is why her manner frightens me. She would never act like this, something else is up.

Luna bursts thrugh the door, in a real bad attitude. Right as Twilight is about to bid her a happy morning, she pushes past both Twilight and Discord.

Discord) I guess she knows too.
Luna) (stops and looks back angrily) what did you just say?
Discord) somebody is in a bad mood.
Luna) watch your tone monster
Discord) (his eyes turn fierce) you are one to talk
Twilight) (gets between them) Luna that wasn't nice, and neither was what you said Discord.

Luna growls, then storms away. She slams the big door behind her, causing a loud rumble. Discord instantly flies out of an open window without saying a word. Twilight just stands there.

Twilight) now what will happen?

Twilight trots out of the room to find Celestia. She asks one of the royal guards, he tells her that the princess has gone to the royal gardens to meet with her advisor. Twilight makes her way to the castle grounds. She spots the princess with her two personal guards, and the advisor. As twilight approaches, she can see Celestia has calmed down, and now with her usual regal expression. Celestia is speaking with kate about the daily concerns.

Celestia) how is the construction for the new school?
Kate) it is actually ahead of schedule. It is estimated to be done in six days.
Celestia) and the shipments from manehattan?
Kate) being unloaded at ponyville.
Celestia) that is all katerina
Kate walks by and stops and stands to the side as Twilight walks by

Kate) (bows) your highness
Twilight) good morning Kate
Kate) I have a message for you from…..ehhh, Applejack.
Twilight) thank you kate, but I need to speak to Celestia for a moment.
Kate) ok, I will leave the letter in your room.

Kate walks away, thinking about how close the mane 6 used to be. Twilight reaches her friend, and begins to speak

Twilight) what are we going to do Celestia? This an important matter
Celestia) the first thing that must happen, is to stay calm. We can not let anyone know of our current situation. Also, I have a plan.

Celeatia The Twilight make their way to the dining hall.

Celestia) ok, first we must find out who Could have stolen the elements.
Twilight) ummmm…did you not blame Discord for taking the elements?

Celestia stops, and turns to Twilight with a worried expression on her face.

Celestia) there is something you need to know Twilight. We are connected…..

(Chapter 2 soon will be here. This is the intro chapter, so no real action at first. Next chapter is where things start to kick off.)
