lost found and lost once again

   Scarred Hammer arrived in town around 7 a.m. the market place was buzzing with bright colorful ponies who were buying and selling things of all shapes and sizes. They gave hammer weird stares seeing as he was a new pony in a town where everypony knows everypony, other ponies waved, but he paid them no mind. While other ponies had soft plush cotton saddlebags his were more "rough" in nature. His saddlebag was to wooden crates being held in place by a large black metal bar over his back. One of the crate i need to go to had clothes such as a coat boots and a hat or two. The other crate had these strange cubes. While walking hammer was going over a mental check list.

."O.K., first go over to the mayors office find a house hopefully from this bright town I'm starting to get a headache. Secondly, work on schematics fo-"

"HI I'm Pinkie Pie but, most people call me pinkie  what's your name?" hammer's train of thought was cut off by a pink pony with cotton candy like hair bouncing up and down

"Could you please sto-" Hammer was once again cut off by the bubbly pony inhaling loudly.

"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH you're a new pony in town I so have to throw you a party but, what should we have to eat? Muffins? Cakes? Cupcake? Oh. I love cupcakes  especially ones with sprin-"

"SHUT THE BUCK UP!!!" shouted hammer loud enough for almost every pony to stop what they were doing and turn their heads.

An audible pop could be heard as the once bubbly pony's mane and tail seemed to deflate as she ran away with tears starting to form in her eyes. By now everypony was now staring at hammer with such intensity to cut diamond, but being the cold hearted pony he was he just shrugged it off as nothing new and kept his pace to the mayors office. A mare within the crowd of ponies thought she would take the law into her own hands. She picked up A rock and threw it at him. without even glancing at the mare he grabbed the rock with his magic engulfing the rock in a dark blue aura threw it back at the mare but , the mare wasn't his real target the tree behind her was. The rock's impact leaving a large crater within the tree. The mare went wide eyed and fainted from here sudden near death experience. The rest of the crowd went dead quiet.

"Unless you want to look like a changeling I suggest you keep a 30 hoof distance."some ponies backed away in fear while others stood there in disbelief  as the tree fell to the ground."Good." hammer said as he continued his way to the mayor's office.

Hammer had finally made it to the mayor's office in one piece given the fact that he had to outrun 3 rather large stallions. If he wasn't so used to running from things he would most likely be dead by now. He found the inside of the building to be no different then the town it was in overly bright. Hammer found himself in front of the door he was looking for.

"let's see Mayor Mare's off... wait. Mayor Mare? Of all the cliched things i have seen this has to be the worst of them all." with a sigh he knocked on the door.

"Come in." A middle age mare's voice called he walks in and the mare gestures for him to take a seat in front of the desk she was setting behind . "Now what can I... YOU!!!"  A look of anger on her face

"Me?" hammer in mock shock and looking back as if someone was behind him.

"yes you you're the one who made my daughter faint thanks to you...."

Hammer had tuned the pony out. He learned this from a mare he picked up working as part time bartender .

"...and further more HEY are even listening?" she said snapping hammer back into reality.

"Ugh sure yeah let's go with that."

The mare just rolled her eyes. " well in any case what do you want?"

"I'm looking for house."

"Really?" A smug little smirk formed on her face"well the only one I see available is almost on the out skirt of town."

Hammer had to hold back a smile that was trying to form on his because he if she knew that was his first option in choosing a house she would surely change it somehow.

"Oh, no home so far away from this nice color ponies? Please not that"

A feeling of accomplishment washed over both the mayor mare for punishing this mean stallion and hammer for making the mare THINK that she punished him.

"I'm sorry but, that's the price you pay for being cruel and harsh towards others."

without another word hammer rose from the seat and walked out defeated. He got keys  from the woman from the front desk who was staring daggers at him, he didn't make eye contact. Once out of building he did a little jig and quickly made his way to the to his new found home proud of the performance he put on.

When he open the door it didn't look as bad as he thought it would be a little dusty but, he didn't mind thought it added character for some reason. He sat his saddlebag down and picked up one of the cubes

Applejack has just arrived at sugarcube corner but, something seems off yes it looks the same but its color seems dull and unwelcoming
