A Visitor From Equestria

We walked back out to the main room in the library and saw them standing there with tears in their eyes.

"You heard everything didn't you?" I said.

"Every word sugarcube." Applejack replied.

"Are you ok Twilight?" Rainbowdash asked.

"I'm so sorry Rainbowdash. I really am so sorry." Twilight responded.

Rainbow simply nodded with a tear falling down her cheek. I walked over to her and hugged her. She nuzzled against my face and I felt her warm tears. I then turned to the group and said,

"We should find out who these three ponies are that seemed to take Shining Armor and Princess Luna."

"But how? Everypony is gone." Applejack said.

She had a point. I hadn't seen anypony for a while. Maybe they were in hiding.

"They might be hiding." I said.

"I doubt it. They would have seen us." Twilight said.

"Yeah, your right. Maybe we could go see Zacora." I said.

"YES! Why didn't I think of that?! Good job Ja- wait a second...How do you know Zacora?" She asked.

"Uhh... I read a book about it?" I said nervously.

They didn't fully believe me, but they shrugged it off.

"Well anyway, we should go and talk with her. Get your stuff together girls." Twilight said.

"What bout Applebloom, and Big Macintosh?" Applejack said.

"And Sweetie Belle!" Rarity added.

"I think we can stop and check on them on the way." I said.

"Good, cause i'm worried 'bout them." Applejack said.

"I am to." I said.

So we left and walked to the carousel boutique. When we got there, It was boarded up.

"Wha-!? What happened to my shop!?" Rarity exclaimed.

"Looks like somepony thought you were permanently closed." I said.

I started breaking the boards off of the door so we could get inside.

"Gah, these things are on tight." I said.

"Here let me." Applejack said as she bucks the wood planks off the door frame.

"Ah, thank you Applejack." I said.

"No problem partner." She said and tipped her hat to me.

I opened the door and found cardboard boxes, mannequins, and empty clothes racks.

"AHHH!!!! Where is all of my clothes?!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Looks like somepony stole them." I said.

"Well, Scrounger up anything we can." I said.

We searched and found nothing but a few blankets.

"Alright, then. Everything is gone. Better get to Sweet apple Acres." I said.

This time on the way, I walked with Applejack for a while. I needed to ask her a question.

"Applejack?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"I was wondering, When is Rainbow Dash's birthday?" I asked.

"Why don't you just ask her sugarcube?" Applejack asks me.

"Because if it's soon, I know she's still hurting from the whole Twilight thing, So I wanted to something extra special for her." I said.

"Well that's mighty kind of ya. Since we were gone two weeks and its now the 29th, so her birthday is tomorrow." She replied.

"Oh....that gives me a very small window of time to do anything." I replied.

"Well, if you need any help, don't ya hesitate to ask. I might be able to help." She said.

"Thank you Applejack." I said

"No problem." She replied.

We got to Sweet Apple Acers, It was the same. There was nopony there. Applejack took it hard, but didn't cry.

I walked along with Rainbow after that. She kept looking up at the sky, yearning to fly. It killed me that she couldn't.

"Dash?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"What is your favorite food?"

"I don't really have one. Why?"

"Just wondering." I said.

On the way out of town I saw a Restaurant that was decent enough. Good thing I was a good cook. I saw a store that the door was broken off. I asked if i could be excused from the group for just minute and that I would catch up. Applejack stayed behind as well to make sure I could catch up. Rainbow wanted to stay, but I told her that I would appreciate it if she didn't. This made her a bit confused and a little mad, but she listened anyway.

"So what caught yer eye that made you wanna stay?" Applejack asked.

"A Jewelry store." I said as I walked toward it.

Applejack followed.

"So...You were gonna STEAL something?" Applejack looked at me dissapointed with me.

"Of course not. I was gonna leave some bits for them." I said.

"Oh. I guess that's ok." Applejack said.

We walked into the store and saw dozens of rings and diamonds and bracelets.

"I know she's not into stuff like this, but It's her birthday. She deserves something special." I said.

I spotted something in a case labeled "SPORTS". A gold Wonder bolts locket that said Speed.

"This is perfect." I said.

Applejack came over and looked at it.

"That's mighty pretty. I'm sure Rainbow will love it." She said.

Applejack looked longingly at a pair of red earrings.  Noticed this and picked them up.

"You like these?" I asked.

'Uhh...yeah...A little bit." She said embarrassed.

I picked them up and brought one to her ear.

"I think they'd look nice on you." I said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said as I clipped one on her ear.

As i clipped the other one on her ear she said,

"I don't think that I could wear these around my friends."

"Why not?" I said.

"Because I'm not seen as girly." She replied.

"So? What does that matter? If you like it, then that's your opinion." I said.

"Yeah I guess yer right." She said.

"I pulled out 50 bits and left them on the counter. We walked out of the store and started walking back toward the group. Then I remembered the restruant.

"Applejack, before we leave can you help me with something?" I asked.
