They waited for the chief to say "COME IN!" in his horrible tone.

"Come in!" A much sweeter voice said.

Mint opened the door slowly, seeing that the office was decorated with pink hearts, flowers and plenty of glitter.

"H..Hello Ma'am, Where is the chief?

"Oh! Come in! Come in! The chief- Uh. Lets get back to that later." She said beautifully, yet nervously.

Fluttershy and Angel slowly came through the door that Mint was holding open for them.

"Oh.. Only one? Thats fine! No competition then hm- Miss Fluttershy?" She was practically singing, her voice was so beautiful.

"Oh no.. This is uh.. my friend Angel. He would like to try out too.." Fluttershy mumbles.

The pink mare smiles again. "Ah! I see!"

"Miss.. I don't believe we have met. Please can I know your name?" Mint interrupts. Trying not to be rude.

"Ah yes! My name is Crimson Pearl! I am the new boss of the Detective Agency!" She sings.

"Oh.. ok. Miss Pearl, I am-"

"IceCold Mint!" Crimson interupted.

Mint slightly annoyed and confused, she cleaned her glasses then tried to smile.

"Anyway.. I will leave these two with you.." Mint muttered under her breath.

"Alright then! Mint you get back to work!"

Mint sarcastically smiled and slammed the door behind Angel and Fluttershy.

Crimson's smile instantly turned to a bored frown.

"Anyway.. Do you two want the jobs? Or not?" Her beautiful voice became monotoned and boring.

They both nodded.

"M.. More than anything Miss Pearl!" Fluttershy admitted.

"Ok. Here." She gave them both name tags and uniform.

"You got it.."

"Thank you so much Miss Pearl!! I promise you will not regret this decision!" Fluttershy squealed and fluttered out the room with Angel on her back.

"Mmhm.. Sure.." Crimson muttered.

Fluttershy slowly closed the door behind her, creating a small 'click' inset of a large 'BANG'.

"Hey Fluttershy! Did you get the job?!" Mint hopped over to them, squealing.

"Yes! I can't wait!"

"Awesome! Go home for today, and come back tomorrow! I will get you both desks!" Mint squealed again, hopping away into the hallway.

Angel smiled at Fluttershy and gave her a 'thumbs up'.

Fluttershy just giggled and they trotted out the Agency, ready to go home again.

For the rest of the night Pinkie Pie threw a party for Fluttershy's new job, all the friends attended.

"Uh.. Pinkie.. How did you know that I got the job anyway?"

"A really nice mare told me!"

"Do you mean Mint?"

Pinkie though for a moment.

"Uh.. I don't think I caught her name.. But maybe!"

Twilight came to interrupt the conversation Fluttershy and Pinkie were having.

"Sorry you two, but Fluttershy, you will need to go to bed a little earlier tonight. Considering its your first day tomorrow!"

Fluttershy nodded, and said good night to all her friends, tomorrow was going to be exciting.

When she got home to her cottage, Angel noticed how excited Fluttershy was... He could sense that she forgot about all those worries she had when going today, he didn't bring it up though. It would just set her off again. Nobody wanted that.

Fluttershy laid in her ivy green bed, piled with cozy blankets and soft, feather, pillows. This bed was made of cloud, her mother brought it from Cloudsdale for her when she moved a few years ago. This is when she met Angel, and took him home.

It was around 6:00 AM when Angel woke his friend. He defenitly didn't want her to be late. She could get fired, then they would have to go through the 'newspaper thing' again. Which was definitely not fun.

He poked her again a bit harder, and Fluttershy's mint-green eyes fluttered open.

"G-Good morning Angel." She said with a yawn.

She opened her eyes a bit wider, and looked at her clock. Seeing what time it was she jumped out of bed as quick as she could.

"Oh no! I don't want to be late! I want to be there for 10 AM!!!" She panicked, knocking Angel to the ground.

After she put on her brown coat, her hat and put her sunglasses in her coat pocket.

Angel did the same and hopped onto Fluttershy's back.

After a long gallop to the Agency, Fluttershy and Angel managed to get their at 09:58.

Noticing her mane was a mess from the running, she quickly used her hoof to straighten it, it didn't help very much but she didn't have time.

"Ah! Fluttershy! You look adorable in that uniform!" Mint squealed.

"Thank you! This is actually the first time i've seen you wear your uniform."

Mint's uniform was slightly different to Fluttershy's and Angel's. It was a burned red colour and looked a little bit longer. It went better with her colour scheme, so that was probably why.

"Ah, I was just in the Agency when you saw me, apparently we're going to be partners. So we have to start investigating!"

Fluttershy got instantly scared.

"I-investigating? A-A murder?!" She stuttered from her shaking.

"No no! Just a robbery today! But you need to decorate your desk and things first!" Mint smiled.

It was getting late already, Fluttershy had asked Twilight to send some things over for her. Including a picture in a frame of her and her friends, potted plants and cushions for her chair. Her desk was very 'nature-y'.

Angel made everything himself, it was pretty much the theme of carrots, orange and green. He seemed to like it.

"Very nice you two!"

"Thank you! I was hoping it looked ok."

"Haha! You can decorate your desk how you like! Come look at mine."

They both followed Mint to her desk, it wasn't far from theirs. As the walked they noticed lots of other workers typing and their eyes were glued to the glowing screens.

Finally, they got there. It was very bright and clean looking. It didn't have many items, but the actual desk and the cardboard walls surrounding it looked very nice. She had a few pictures of her family and friends, all of them very posh and tidy looking. They didn't look like Mint, their manes were very groomed and coat's were clean, while Mint's seemed scruffier and had small patches of dirt hidden in it (like anypony's normally was).
