Charcoal Dust was normal in every way for everypony else, he had good grades, went to a good school, participated in school clubs, and overall lived a good life. There was one thing wrong, he was blind...blind in the light.

When Shining Star, a new colt in town moves from Las Pegasus, he meets Charcoal Dust, who is blind, Shining and Charcoal become friends, what's so wrong with that? One friendship isn't that life changing…is it?
