The Hope of Dawn

Day breaks over the world’s swell

Giving light to a world unwell

But pleasure and pain must balance to build you up tall

So you can still stand after the inevitable fall

For one must get up and continue the climb

Continue life’s lessons, wisdom with time

Each lesson precious, each one unique

Each brings you closer to life’s mountain peak

And should you reach the crest

Take the time to rest

And watch for a while, as time marches on

And bring with each day, the hope of a Dawn
