A Flower With A Splotch Of Pink
Pinkie Pie was just walking around on a casual Monday afternoon pulling around a wagon somewhat-full of pastries. All the Cakes had gone on vacation and so it was Pinkie's job to fill out and deliver all the ponies orders. Luckily, there were no special events happening so she had plenty of time to relax.
But her wagon wasn't for any pony delivery, oh no, they were for some very special foals in the hospital. She just signed up for the job a few days ago, and it wasn't posted for any pony or anything, she got it by herself and got permission from Nurse RedHeart.
Pinkie Pie looked up at the sky. Celestia's sun was shining so brightly, joy filled her energetic heart. Pinkie started to replay the wonderful event that occurred just four days ago.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Pinkie Pie happily trotted into the hospital. She had just finished saying goodbye to the Cakes as they boarded the train for a visit to the Crystal Empire and it would be a while before they came back so she needed something to do. Something that would surely involve lots of fun. And she knew she couldn`t play with her friends since they were all going to be busy this week.
Rainbow Dash would be training more in the WonderBolt`s academy, Fluttershy was preparing her birds for a musical at a school in Manehatten and Twilight was studying for an upcoming test Celestia might give her.
Now Rarity and Applejack, now those two were definitely not gonna be available this week. Rarity started sewing like crazy right when she got an order from one of the hottest fashion lines about a request for twelve elegant ball gowns. And she only had two weeks or so to get them ready.
Pinkie Pie just hoped the hard-working fashion designer got a little sleep every night. Because every time she walked by Rarity`s boutique she always heard the rumbling of sewing machines and the sound of rustling fabric.
Applejack was just bucking more and more apples out of the trees like always but AppleBuck season was coming and it seemed like there were more apples in the trees than ever before.
But anyway, Pinkie shoved all those thoughts away as she finally reached the front desk. She knew Nurse RedHeart would surely give her some advice on what to do for fun. After all, this nurse was always sweet and kind to all her patients around here. Nurse Redheart looked up as Pinkie approached her. She was on a red chair and she appeared to be reading a book about foal sitting.
Her hair was in its usual light-pink bun and she gave Pinkie a nervous smile. Still remembering how noisy the party pony was in the baby’s room.
"Oh hello Pinkie, " she said casually," do you need something? ".
Pinkie Pie smiled widely. She put her hooves on the desk.
" Hey RedHeart, I was just wondering if you would happen to know what I can do for fun. All the Cakes are gone on vacation and my friends are all busy so I was just wondering what you think I should do now."
She smiled happily and started bouncing a little on the tips of her hooves.
The kind hearted nurse sighed. She gave Pinkie a stern look.
“Listen Pinkie I don`t have time to listen for your silly conversations. We just got a bunch of small foals sent here and they are absolutely unbearable and very noisy."
As Nurse RedHeart said this she seemed to sound incredibly frustrated. But before Pinkie could respond the Nurse raised her voice slightly higher.
"And to add to that they have been disturbing other patients, flicking the lights on and off while riding in their wheelchairs and-"
BOOM!
The sound of rock music boomed loudly through the long hallway along with the laughter of a few colts.
The music was so loud that Nurse RedHeart covered her ears with her hooves and Pinkie had a shocked look on her face before jolting in the air. Nurse RedHeart's face started growing a brighter shade of red.
"Colts! Turn it down! "
Nurse RedHeart yelled loudly as she quickly ran over on her hind legs to the room the music was coming from, still covering her ears.
Pinkie recovered from the sudden noise and put her hoof to her chin as she watched the nurse take off. Still thinking of what she was supposed to do. Then an idea popped up in her head.
" Wait! RedHeart! I know how I can help you! "
Pinkie yelled those words with her right hoof out stretched before running after her.
IIIIIIII
Pinkie stepped into the hospital pulling her wagon in with her and automatically trotted over to the last room on the right hallway. The day when she signed up, the foals almost automatically loved her. They partied together on their wheelchairs and ate a few small treats (healthy ones of course) it was just amazing.
None of them were sick actually. From what she heard, the colts were trying to do tricks on their scooters but ended up breaking a few bones while the fillies didn't exactly tell Pinkie how they all got there with a few broken bones as well.
She peeked into the room they were all supposed to be in. It turns out all they were doing was saying polite things about her. They looked like they were all talking at once so it was hard to make out what they were saying. They were saying things like
"Hey! Isn't Pinkie super funny? "
or
" I hope Pinkie can come to my next birthday party. All my friends would totally be jealous. "
Pinkie giggled. She loved them all so much. The colts were a bit tough at first but they liked her once they saw all he treats she brought in. Pinkie could no longer hold in her excitement. She adored the foals here so much. She burst into the room.
"SUUUHHHH- PRISE!"
She yelled at the top of her lungs. All the foals looked shocked. Some just had wide eyes while others nearly fell out of their beds. Pinkie Pie quickly looked behind her. Luckily, Nurse RedHeart was in another part of the hospital with the grown-up ponies so she wasn't very likely to get anymore lectures from her.
Once everypony recovered from the sudden surprise the party started. They all ate cake and other treats for about another hour before another nurse, Nurse Soft Heart, called out that the party was over. Right when Pinkie gave a last wave to all of them and shut the door behind her, Nurse Soft Heart appeared in front of her. A VERY worried look on her face.
" Oh, um, Pinkie? "
" Yes ? "
Pinkie replied. The nurse winced a bit before meeting Pinkie’s curious gaze.
"I'm afraid you can no longer have your parties with the other foals here."
Pinkie eyes widend and she looked absolutely shocked. She was about to make an outburst. Argue about the nurses sudden decision but something stopped her. Something about the nurse's voice told her something was up. And it wasn't something good.
The nurse continued with the same sad tone,
“ You see Pinkie, there is another foal coming here and she has been terribly abused. Her name is Flower Blossom. "

Chapter 2: Just another Night
Pinkie immediatly went home after that. She went up the stairs and lay down on her fluffy bed, staring at the ceiling. She thought about what happened earlier. Which was pretty much as blank as her mind at the moment. Nurse SoftHeart told her of another filly coming over with the name of Flower Blossom.
When Pinkie thought of this name she imagined a beautiful blonde-haired filly with a nice lacey dress and a cute flower in her hair. But from what NurseSoftHeart told her, she had second thoughts. Pinkie tried to ask her more about Flower Blossom's past but the nurse just told her it wasn't a happy one.
But Pinkie wanted to know more. This filly sounded rather very special to her. Everyone thought of her as a fun party-pony who isn't considered about anything except just that but she wasn't. She actually cared about other things to. Like how her family was doing and how other foals in the world were doing. After all her past wasn't very happy either.
Her parents often ignored her on the rock farm due to being so concerned about the low amounts of money they were getting. Pinkie wasn`t like her two other sisters. Her sisters were very quiet and often never spoke to anyone but theirselves while Pinkie tried to cheer everypony up and spoke to them alot during the day. That was why she was always so sad. Until she go her cutie mark that is.
She knew her past wasn`t very nice but she was glad her future was. What more could she ask for at the moment? She had absolutley amazing friends who would do anything for her in life. They all had a very special bond with each other and every villian they faced and will be facing in the future had and will be conquered with the magic of friendship. She was living in a beautiful safe town and all the ponies were always kind and helpful.
She didn't have anything to worry about. Maybe she could visit the little filly and they could become friends. After all, next to throwing parties, making friends was her talent. Pinkie Pie kept staring at the ceiling. Her mind was still blank with nothing but the thought of that filly.
Pinkie just sighed and closed her eyes. Seeing nothing but the emptiness of the dark. She would visit that little filly tomorrow and the questions would slip away from her mind then. Yes, that is what will happen tomorrow.
Just got to sleep, just go to sleep, just go to sleep,
She kept on repeating those same words in her mind just to let the command go through. Then after what seemed like forever, Pinkie finally drifted off to sleep, waiting for Celestia's sun to rise for the new day of a new welcome.
