Before the story in Equestria can begin, let's talk about our hero's(?) of this *true story. First we have Baby, Baby is a pretty cool guy, eh likes to talk in third person and doesn't afraid of anything, (except giraffes, them things be freaky yo.) Then we have Shar, Shar... Shar, um, surely there is something good I can say about him? He, he uh.. I got nothing.
Shar is awesome, he has more finger in his one awesome than most people do in their entire body! Wait, that didn't come out right, whatever, Shar is older than Baby, and Shar also likes to talk in third person.
Baby gives zero numbers as to what Shar just said, because nobody listens to Shar. Anyways, that's all you need to know about our brave, awesome (except Shar), brothers!
"Hey Shar, you want to know what's cooler than being cool?" Baby asked his big brother.
"Getting transported to an alternate world slash dimension where we live in the same place as all our favorite ponies? Which is totally not awesome foreshadowing." Shar replied expecting a dumb answer in return.
"I was gonna say eating ice cream, in Antarctica, while being in an igloo, chilling with an Eskimo, who was ice fishing, and a polar bear eating a Popsicle, while a penguin, was in a freezer, enjoying an ice cold fudgesicle."
"God I hate you so much. I try not to, but then you speak." Shar got what he expected, but he was still disappointed.
"Y'all just jam."
"You mean jelly?"
"Yes?"
"You're an idiot. Like, you don't even know how big of an idiot you are." Shar put his hand over his eyes and shook his head, "I can't believe I'm related to you sometimes."
"But I'm Baby, everyone loves Baby, Baby is life, Baby is love." Baby snickered at his brother, ignoring that last statement of his.
"Baby is an idiot. That's all Baby is." Shar went to leave the room to get away from his annoying little brother.
"Shar I'm reporting you to the internet police!" Baby yelled at his brother as he tried to leave, making him stop in his tracks.
"They don't care. They also hate you and think you're an idiot." Shar said without even turning around to face Baby.
"Why do you have to be so mean." Baby said while being jokingly sad.
"You mean truthful?"
"Yeah sure."
Baby and Shar argued a lot, but that's what brothers do, especially identical twin brothers, after all, what else would brothers do in their spare time? As Baby and Shar argued, little did they know that outside, something was happening that would-
"Ay, who the heck do you think you are?"
What?
"Yeah, you! Who do you think you are interrupting my and my brother arguing?!"
Are, are you talking to me?
"Yeah, I am talking to you!"
I- I'm the Narrator, I let the readers know what's going on outside of you and others talking, to add depth, add suspense, to move the story on beyond just talking, technically I shouldn't even be addressing you right now, not directly.
"You wot m8?"
I'm not quite sure you understand, we aren't supposed to acknowledge each other, or that I exist, now, can I continue?
"You think you can just come into our story and tell people things that are important to the plot?!? Read the title of the story, now, did you read anything about a Narrator being in my story?!?" Baby said, as he was getting mad at the Narrator, completely bursting through the 4th wall at high speed.
Well no, but every story has a Narrator, it's just normal.
"I would just ignore him, Baby can be stubborn."
"Nah Shar, this bitch thinks he can come and just be in MY STORY?!? That ain't happening yo." Baby was quite upset with the Narrator, not even thinking of how important he actually is.
"Seriously Baby, he has a point, we need a Narrator." Now Shar was getting upset with his brother for getting upset with the Narrator that Baby wasn't even suppose to acknowledged in the first place.
"We ain't paying him Shar, we can't afford it!" Baby, being so ignorant at the fact that a Narrator in their story wouldn't cost them anything tried to argue that fact.
"Actually we could afford it, quite easily, but still we need a Narrator." Shar knowing they wouldn't need to pay him regardless, but tried to convince his stupid brother.
Yeah, I mean, you do need a Narrator, who would advance the story when it's needed?
"Fine, but we ain't paying you." Baby, still oblivious, thought he could win a pointless fight.
That's fine, now can I continue doing my job?
"Hobby, you get paid at jobs, so for legal issues, narrating is your hobby." Seriously, Baby is this stupid sometimes, and yes, Baby himself did right this, sort of proving himself right?
Whatever, can I continue doing my hobby then?
"By all means, please continue." Baby said, not thinking the Narrator was going to continue anyways.
Thank you. So as Baby and Shar were arguing about how big of a bitch Baby is, (which he is a really big bitch, and everyone knows it.)
"You prick! You're fired!" Baby thinking he would get his way, not happening at all.
Narrating is my hobby bitch! Don't fuck with the Narrator!
"He's right Baby, you shouldn't mess with the Narrator, ever." Shar agreeing with the Narrator entirely.
"Shit." Baby said, in a way admitting he lost.
Baby and Shar looked out their window, and they saw something distorting the space around it, so they ran outside quick to investigate.
"Yeah I'm not too sure about that." Baby said, not sure about that.
"Yeah, I don't want to do it either." Shar said, thinking he wouldn't have to do it anyways.
Too bad, they went outside.
"Not happening." Baby said still inside, ignoring the Narrator.
"Same, 0/10, not going outside." Shar, also ignoring the Narrator, is if it was an option.
Fine, you want to do it the hard way, we'll do it the hard way. Baby and Shar were being sucked into the weird space distorter thing, and they couldn't help it, there was no escape, they were being drawn into it.
"What about our house?" Baby said, still inside, now questioning the Narrator's actions.
"Yeah, how is our house not being sucked into it as well." Shar also questioning the Narrator and sorta making a point.
"Yeah, our door is shut, so we couldn't get outside anyways." Baby said, not really making a good point.
Fine then, Baby and Shar were suddenly outside.
"Wait, what, how did we get outside, our door was shut!!!" Baby, complaining as usual, whined.
"Yeah, what's the deal Narrator guy?" Shar thinking asking the Narrator would make a difference.
Mess with me, I mess with your continuity.
"Fair enough, we're sorry, right Baby?" Shar said, nudging his brother, trying to get him to agree.
"But, I don't wanna!" Baby, still whining like a 'baby'.
Okay, either cooperate, or I kill you off right here and now, end of story, no more Baby. Although, there could still be a story without you Baby, people might like it better actually.
"Fine. I'm sorry." Baby, obviously not wanting to be killed off and still in the story finally apologized.
Thank you, so as Baby and Shar went outside to investigate, they saw what looked like a portal of some sort, and they could make out what appeared to be another world, possibly with living beings, and is totally not Equestria at all, nope, not at all, absolutely not in the slightest is it Equestria, promise, it's not Equestria, seriously, it's not Equestria, if you're thinking it's Equestria, you're wrong, very, very, very wrong.
"So, it's Equestria then?" Shar, obviously wrong in thinking it's Equestria, and will be quite disappointed in thinking so.
"Lulz, Shar, you see a portal leading to another world and you're standing right next to it, what do?"
"Hmm, oh I know!" Shar quickly shoved his brother into the portal and laughed as he did it. "How's that for a response Baby?"
"You're coming with me Shar! I got a hold of you!"
Shar looked down as he saw his brother had grabbed a hold of his shirt, "Oh poop." he said as he and Baby were pulled into the portal, wondering where they would wind up, because it's not Equestria!
Spoiler, it's Equestria. I mean it says it right in the title. Anyways, Baby and Shar landed in the place on the other side of the portal, landing on the ground harshly. Also, if you thought it wasn't Equestria, then you have been fooled, and why would this story be here then?
"Ow, that kinda hurt." Baby said as he hit the ground pretty hard, with his brother landing on top of him.
"Actually it didn't hurt me at all, you must be a bitch." Shar looked around and saw that they were in a place different than their home. "Baby, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." Obligatory Wizard of Oz joke made? Check. Baby not getting the joke, very imminent.
"Gee Shar, you must've hit your head pretty hard if you thought we'd ever be in Kansas, I mean, no offense to Kansas, but yeah." Baby, offending Kansans (Thanks Google!) everywhere, though mostly in Kansas. Baby looked around and saw the same things Shar did, "Holy shit Shar, we're in fucking Equestria! (As if you didn't see this coming.) This be awesome yo!" (Or that coming.)
"Will you stop saying 'yo', please?" Shar asked his brother nicely, probably for the first time in his life.
"No!"
"Stop it."
"Shar you're like a gardening tool."
"Don't."
"Because you're a hoe." (If you didn't see that coming, then I don't even.)
"God I hate you so much." Shar sighed while putting his hoof over his eyes, knowing nopony would ever know the pain that Shar feels everyday.
"Oh my God Shar! You're a Pegasus!" Baby claimed after looking at his brother for the first time since they got to Equestria.
"What?" Shar questioned then looked at himself, then looked at Baby. "Whoa, so are you Baby!" Identical twins being the same race of pony, no way!
*Squee*
"No. No *Squee*, not now, not ever."
*Squee*?
"No! Bad Baby! No *Squee*!"
*Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* Baby Squeed(?) sadly then looked at Shar. "Oh man! Shar, you have a cutie mark!" And to this day, nobody asked why Baby was looking at his brothers hind quarters, and we don't want to know. I mean, because they're ponies now so it's normal I guess.
"Oh hey, so do you!" Shar noticed his brother did as well.
"Aw, sweet! Shar what's mine look like?" Incoming reference inbound, brace for impact.
"Awesome! What about mine?" Seriously, who knows what this is a reference to?
"Sweet! What's mine look like?" Anypony?
"Awesome! What about mine?" Come on, this one's easy!
"Sweet! What does mine look like?!" Seriously, so easy!
"Awesome! What about mine?!" If somepony doesn't get this, please, ask somepony, and watch the movie.
"Sweet!!! What does mine look like?!?" See, I even gave a hint.
"Awesome!!! What about mine?!?" It's a movie.
"SWEET!!! WHAT ABOUT MINE?!?" Like, 2002 or so.
"AWESOME!!! WHAT ABOUT MINE?!?" About a vehicle.
ENOUGH! Baby, your cutie mark looks awesome, and Shar, yours looks sweet! Now stop it.
"Uh, yeah, Sorry Shar." Baby apologizing like a good brother.
"No, um, I'm sorry Baby. So, how are we gonna get out of Equestria?" Shar probably lying about apologizing like a normal brother.
"So, how are we gonna get out of Equestria?!? Are you nuts? This place is awesome as awesome! Why would you want to leave? Besides, it's your fault we're here, you shoved me towards the portal." Baby actually having another good point, I don't know how, but he has had a few today.
"Yeah, but it was funny, totally worth it at the time. But if this Equestria is the same as the one we know, which it appears to be, then I say we head towards Celestia's castle." If it isn't obvious at this point, Baby and Shar watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but it should be quite obvious, almost as obvious as that reference earlier, seriously, if nopony got that, I don't know how to feel.
"Can we 'Jingle All the Way' there?" Do you get this reference? It's a Christmas song, but used as a joke.
"Baby, don't ever make a Christmas pun again, ever." This guy gets it.
"Oh Shar, where's your 'Holly Jolly' spirit?" Baby's two for two for his good Christmas puns today.
"Seriously Baby, stop it." Oh yeah, Shar hates Christmas puns/ jokes/ funny things in general/ that last one was a lie.
"Shar remember that song written about me and that one day?" Here it comes, brace yourselves!
"What?" Shar can be clueless sometimes.
"Yeah, you know, 'Baby's First Christmas'." Yeah, that one wasn't as good, you're 2 for 3 now Baby, step it up.
"I'm going to hurt you Baby, I'm going to hurt you so much." Shar actually probably would, maybe. Let's just say you shouldn't put it past him.
"Oh what are you going to do Shar, kick me in my 'Jingle Bells'?" Zing. 3/4 Baby. Keep going.
"What a great idea Baby! That's exactly what I'll do!" Didn't I say not to put it past him, I'm pretty sure I did.
And so Shar did, he kicked Baby right in his 'Little St. Nick.', his 'Chestnuts to Be Roasting Over an Open Fire', his 'Santa Baby'.
"Okay Narrator, you're next." Like it's even possible to hurt the Narrator, the Narrator is all powerful, almighty, all knowing!
Sorry, I blame Baby, his Babyness was affecting me.
That's understandable, my awesomeness can be too much for people sometimes, I gave my brain to Charlie Sheen, gave it back right away said 'Dude can't handle it.' True story." Not actually a true story, don't listen to Baby, he doesn't actually know Charlie Sheen, or at least I don't think he does, he might actually. Okay, yeah, he probably does, so that 'true story' might actually be a true story.
"And in the same day that Baby just said that, Charlie Sheen sued us for everything we had, even the rights for this story." Which was Monday December 9th, 2013.
"So?" Baby being ignorant as always.
"So now the Narrator is Charlie Sheen." Shar thinking he knows things about the Narrator.

"Ha! Well at least we have a good Narrator now." Baby hurting the Narrators feelings, what a dick.
"Spoiler alert, the Narrator has been and is Morgan Freeman the entire time." I'm strangely OK with this.
"Wow, mind, equals blown." This too.
"This dialogue has been written by M. Night Shyamalan, roll the credits." Alright this I'm not too sure about, I mean yeah, it's fine I guess, unless we get sued, then it's not fine, not fine at all. Please don't sue us any famous person who has/ might/ probably will be mentioned in this story, we love you all, but if you do read this, congrats, your life just got about 20% cooler. Unless you sue...

"Right anyways, let's get going to Celestia's, I feel we've disturbed too many things in this brief amount of time." Shar's probably right. I'm 101% sure about that, especially if we get sued.
"Right, let's go." Baby agreed, and they headed out.
And so, Baby and Shar made their way to Princess Celestia's, quite confident in knowing how to get there. Having started on the outskirts of Ponyville, they knew the trip would take some time. Also, you are totally reading this in Morgan Freeman's voice, aren't you? It's fine, I know you are, so go ahead, it's just natural. Don't fight it. Especially if you are Morgan Freeman, then you should be reading this in your voice Mr. Freeman. (P.S. You're awesome Morgan Freeman, and so is everypony who reads this. Also, if Morgan Freeman was a pony, what would he look like?)
"Um, Shar, I just realized something." If it's about any legal issues, don't talk about it, it only makes it worse.
"That you're an idiot? It's okay Baby, we all knew from the beginning, even our parents." Baby might want to get some ice for that burn, or at the very least some cold water.
"No, Shar, it's not that. What if we run into somepony familiar?" Baby trying to hide back tears from that insult he just received. He cries easily, get it because he's a 'Baby'. Also, expect many 'baby' jokes, and puns, it's just natural when you're born with the name 'Baby'.
"Did you just say 'somepony'?" Yes Shar, yes Baby did, and what are you going to do about it? That's what I thought.
"Well we are ponies now, so it's only right, so we can blend in." Seriously, what is this, like the 4th good point Baby has made today/ this chapter? This has to be a record, for him at least.
"Ugh, fine, but I doubt we'll run into 'anypony' familiar." Shar is totally not doing some foreshadowing, I swear it.
"But what if we do?" Baby going along with the not foreshadowing.
"Tell you what Baby, if we do, I'll be nice to you for the remainder of the time we're here in Equestria." Right, because Shar wouldn't lie, right? Yeah, I'm sure he'd keep his deal.
"Hiya, you two sure look unfamiliar to me, are you new here in Ponyville?" Said a familiar sounding pony.
Baby and Shar turned around to face the pony confronting them, and they were surprised to see an all too familiar pink pony. Baby looked over at his brother with a wide grin.
"Yeah I'm not gonna be nice to you." So it turns out Shar didn't keep his deal, who knew? Oh wait, me, because you know, I wrote this, just don't tell anypony.
"So my name's Pinkie Pie, and who are you two?"
"I'm Baby, and this is my brother Shar, he's not nice." Nothing about this statement is false in any way.
"Well he looks nice to me." Pinkie Pie being so nice as always, also how she ignored how bizarre their names are, I mean I guess 'Pinkie Pie' isn't exactly normal, maybe Baby and Shar were meant to live in Equestria?
"Thank you Pinkie, and nice to meet you too, and as much as I would love to stay and chat, believe me, I would love nothing more, my brother and I are busy." Yeah, Shar doesn't love anything, except chocolate, mostly chocolate milk, Nesquik chocolate milk to be exact, and I'm totally not advertising their products. But it is delicious. But yeah, Shar doesn't love anything, especially not meeting new people, err, ponies?
"Maybe I can help?" Pinkie Pie being so helpful as always, such a nice mare, surely Shar wouldn't reject her help.
"I'm sorry, but it's personal." Shar. You. Are. A. Dick!
"Oh, well that's okay, we'll just talk some other time." Pinkie turned around and bounced away out of view, not even mad at all that Shar basically said 'fuck off', so nice.
"That was close, I mean Shar, you almost made a friend! Heavens know you wouldn't want that." Ouch, Shar, I'll call the burn ward for you, because you'll be admitted there soon.
"Yeah yeah, but we don't want to draw attention to ourselves, we're not from around here, remember." Shar trying to not show how badly that hurt him, but also made a point, a good one at that.
"Um yeah, after all Shar we just arrived here not too long ago. I'm not stupid you know." Scientists are still trying to figure that one out, the verdict's not back yet.
"Riiiiiiight. Let's just keep going." Shar responded in a cool tone as they started heading towards the castle again.
"Wait Baby! Shar!" Pinkie came bouncing back, and got right in between the two, "I just realized something!" Probably that those are totally normal names to have in Equestria, seriously, they were made to be in Equestria!
"And what's that Pinkie?" Baby asked while thinking, 'please let it be that we are awesome for having those names!'
"Yeah, enlighten us, please." Tell Shar that he sucks Pinkie, do it! Be mean for once! He deserves it!
"You two are twins! Aren't you?" Stating the obvious and what's already been stated like three thousand times already, I present to you ladies and gentlemen! Pinkie Pie! Just kidding Pinkie, you're awesome, you always will be.
"Yeah, we've been twins like our entire lives. I mean first Shar was born, then moments later, I was born." That's typically how twins are born, yeah. Good job Baby, you know how baby's are born.
"Yeah, there's nothing wrong with being twins, is there?" Shar asking stupid questions, I expect these kind of things from Baby, not you Shar, please, step up your game.
"Nope! It's just that there's never been a history of having identical twins before in Equestria, like, ever! We do have a pair of fraternal twins, but they aren't identical, this is so awesome! I'm friends with identical twins!" Pinkie said enthusiastically, not knowing that Shar hates friends, almost as much as he hates his brother, almost.
"Wait, there's never been identical twins in Equestria before?" Baby asking stupid questions that have already been answered, the world has once again, regained it's balance.
"Nope." Pinkie being nice enough to answer Baby's stupid already been answered questions, seriously, she's so nice.
"Like, ever?" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand there goes the balance again. Keep this up Shar, and the world(s) will end.
"Never ever! This must mean you two are incredibly famous!" Pinkie's smile grew larger and larger as she stared at the brothers, thinking they're famous.
"Um, yeah, sure, I guess." Baby being ever so clueless as usual, I love it.
"Uh, what my brother means is that we travel a lot, and so we don't really get to bask in the fame as much as we'd like." Good thing Shar is great at lying, it's like his natural born talent! Maybe that should be his cutie mark?
"Oh, well maybe if you stick around Ponyville a little, then you can meet everypony, oh especially my friends! I bet they'd love to meet you!" Pinkie really wanting to be friends with Baby and Shar, with Baby it's easy, but poor Pinkie, Shar will be hard to win over.
"Maybe some other time, remember, we're busy. We're on the way to Princess Celestia's." Shar not even realizing he done goofed.
"Ohmygosh! You two know Princess Celestia!" Pinkie's smile grew even bigger than before, her smile got so big it's like it took over her entire face.
"Good going Shar." Baby whispered under his breath, probably surprised he wasn't the one to mess up first.
"Shut up." Shar whispered back under his breath, probably surprised Baby wasn't the one to mess up first.
"Well maybe when you two come back we can hang out and I can introduce you two to all of my friends?" Pinkie still trying to win over their friendship, tried everything she could.
"Sure, that'd be sweet!" Baby replied, always happy to meet new friends, even if he already knew them, in a sense.
"Yeah, sure Pinkie." Never forget, 12/9/13, Shar agreed to make some friends, well agreed to meet them, close enough, right?
"Yay! I'll get the party ready!" Pinkie bounced away again leaving the brothers alone, and knowing Pinkie Pie, it was going to be one hell of a party!
"I think we done goofed Shar." I swear there's more foreshadowing in this story than there are ponies in Ponyville.
"You think? Let's just get to Celestia's, and maybe she can fix all this." I swear, that isn't foreshadowing, it's just that Celestia's really powerful, so surely she can do something! Okay, I lied, that is foreshadowing.
Baby and Shar continued on their way to Celestia's castle, taking the train from Ponyville to Canterlot, then making their way to the castle, arriving outside the entrance, with it now being nighttime after all the travelling.
"What do Shar?" Baby asked, with this being yet another stupid question, ring the doorbell dumbass... Wait, there are no doorbells yet! Nevermind Baby, that is a good question.
"We knock you idiot." Thank God Shar knew the answer all along, or they'd have been screwed. Or not.
"Oh, right." Baby said, pretending like he knew the answer all by himself.
Shar was about to knock when the doors opened on their own, "Huh, so I guess it is true, when you are this awesome, doors do open for you, among other things, if you know what I mean." Oh Shar, you so subtle.
"Like, soda's? Does pop open for you as well Shar, huh, you bastard, how many of my sodas have you drank?!?" Oh right, Baby loves soda, especially Mtn. Dew. Oh and Sunkist, orange Sunkist, and again, totally not advertising how awesome those products are, but again, they are super delicious. So obviously, Baby got super mad at Shar, thinking he's been drinking his 'Nectar of the God's', and such.
"What, no I'm talking about p-" Shar got cut off before he could finish what he was going to say, now we'll never know what he was going to say.
"Please, come in." Baby and Shar looked up at the voice who spoke to them, sitting on her throne, Princess Celestia. The brothers stared at the regal Princess for a few minutes not even moving. "So, are you two coming in or not?" The brothers still just stood still and stared for another few moments before their thoughts came back to them.
"Yes, your highness." Baby said as he began to enter the castle.
"Of course Princess." Said Shar as he followed his brother inside.
Baby and Shar entered Celestia's castle, and walked up to her, bowing out of respect. "Please, no need to bow, now tell me, what can I do for you two?"
"Um, you see, Princess Celestia, my name is Baby, and this is my brother Shar." Nervous Baby's words came out as a stutter.
"Yeah, you see Princess, something happened to us and uh." Shar, just as nervous as his brother, stuttered a bit as well.
"I already know who you two are, and why you're here."
"Wait, really? Awesome, so um, do you know everything about us? If so, I'm sorry for what I did that one time, you know what time it was, and I apologize." Baby said, less nervous than before, returning to his normal, random self.
"So how do you know about us exactly?" Shar said ignoring his brother's remark, "And wait, if you know about us, and why we're here, then why'd you ask us what you could do for us?" Shar, now a little confused asked Celestia for answers.
"Well Baby, firstly, I don't know everything about you, and I don't need or want to, secondly, Shar, the reason you two are here is my fault, and I kind of hoped you two weren't who you are, if that makes sense."
"Wait, so I confessed something very vaguely to you for no reason? Wow, do I feel like a fool." Baby, still being himself, was being well, himself.
"Don't listen to him, he's an idiot, but what do you mean it's your fault we're here, and uh, sure, that other thing you said makes sense, I guess?" Shar being a man of answers, just wanted a couple of his own.
"It isn't just my sister's fault, I am to blame partially as well." Baby and Shar turned to see the owner of the voice and knew it was Princess Luna's, "Both my sister and I are sorry for what happened." Princess ~~Moonbutt~~ Luna walked towards the brothers and her sister.
"Oh Princess Luna! Ruler of the night! It is an honor." Baby bowed before Luna before rising again.
"Please, Princesses, ignore him, it's better than way, but can you explain why and how we're here?"Shar really wanting to get answers at this point, and hating every second he had to be with his brother when he acted like this.
"Allow me to begin, my sister Luna and I were working on some new magic, to try and see what different worlds looked like, and it just so happened the first world we tried was yours, Earth." Celestia started the story.
"We were able to peer into your world, and see what was going on, but then something went wrong, we created a tear in the space on Earth, we tried to close it, but it wasn't working, it was too powerful for us to stop." Luna continued the story.
"Yes, and that's when we saw you two, you came to investigate it, and when you accidentally got sucked inside it, transporting you here, in Equestria, but somehow you landed down outside of Ponyville." Celestia continuing where her sister left off.
"But don't worry, we've been working on trying to re-open the tear that closed after you two arrived here, it hasn't been going the best. Luckily, you two seemed to have turned into Pegasi, so at least you'll blend in better." Luna explaining how Baby and Shar got to Equestria.
"Yes, however, the matter of how long it will take and where you two will stay is another story, along with the fact you two are identical twins is also troubling." Celestia said while pondering.
"Wait, what does us being identical twins have to do with anything?" Baby asked, confused.
"Yeah, why does that matter?" Shar asked as well, confused just like his brother.
"Never before have identical twins existed in Equestria before, and so you two will draw unwanted attention towards yourselves." Celestia answered the brothers question.
"How would it be unwanted attention?" Baby asked, even more confused about this than the whole twin thing.
"Yeah, I'm confused." Confused Shar is confused.
"There was a prophesy spoken of a long time ago, that because of you two, has now come true." Luna enlightening them on the identical twin thing.
"Awesome! Shar, we are famous!" Baby, thinking that this is probably not bad in any way, let his idiocy show.
"What kind of prophesy was it, might I ask?" Thankfully Shar is a bit smarter than his brother, sometimes, and asked questions.
"It spoke of a time when identical twins would arrive in Equestria, by any means, and that when they did, they would be craved by everypony far and wide." Luna, telling more of the prophesy to them.
"Still not seeing how this could be bad in any way at all." Baby, always ignorant, well not always, 99% of the time though, still thinking this is awesome.
"Yeah, to be honest, that doesn't seem so bad." Shar, starting to agree with his brother, don't do it Shar, you're smarter than this!
"You two don't understand what this means exactly, do you?" Celestia asked them as politely as she could.
"We'll get lots of attention?" Baby, please, stay Baby.
"Well get lots of money?" Shar, please, don't be Baby, be you.
"Baby, you were right with your answer." Celestia didn't realize the apocalypse she just set upon the world by saying that.
"You shouldn't have told him that." Shar knew what hell Celestia just opened to the world, but it was too late.
"Aw yeah Shar! I was right, and you were wrong! You. Were. WRONG! I. Was. RIGHT! I am the greatest in the entire world! Oh man it feels so good Shar, I feel awesome. Mmmmmm." Baby began freaking out and scared everypony in the room, seriously, it was freaky, a couple guards even puked it was so disturbing. I still have shivers, and I wrote this, what does that tell you?
"That's why. Anyways, moving on, how is that bad? Other than Baby being, you know what?" Only once has Shar told Baby he was right about something, and after how Baby reacted the first time, Shar knew never again.
"The prophesy states that these twins will contain untold power, and that if anypony can unlock that power, they will get anything they want." Luna, a little scarred after witnessing Baby's 'victory dance', still continued telling the prophesy.
"Does that include unlimited pie?" Baby asked, calm once again after his moment.
"Baby, really?" Shar asked, not really surprised at what his brother said, nothing Baby says really surprises Shar anymore.
"What? Oh duh, I forgot, unlimited whipped cream to go with that said pie?" Baby. Please, don't ever change.
"I think you're missing the point Baby." Or is Shar missing the point?
"How could I be missing the point of unlimited pie and whipped cream? What more could you want?!?" Baby does have a point now that I think about it, all you need now is to be able to eat as much as you want.
"I give up on you." Shar said that, knowing full well he gave up a long time ago.
"If anypony was able to get that untold power you two contain, it could mean the end of Equestria as we know it. That's why my sister and I are doing what we can to try and get you two back home soon, unfortunately, making the tear drained us of everything almost, and re-opening it, won't be as easy I fear." Luna stated calmly, though with a tone of worry in her voice.
"Luna's right, right now, there is nothing we can do, and we don't know when we will be able to, we estimate it will be about seven days before we are recovered, and have the strength to try to open the tear." Celestia, just as calm as her sister, let the brothers know the situation.
"So let me get this right, there's a prophesy about us, essentially, and if anypony finds out about us they will try to take that power at whatever cost, and we are stuck here for at least seven days, probably more?" Shar pretty much hit the nail on the head.
"Yes, and unfortunately, we don't know how exactly one would go about trying to get that power, but we fear it might be at a great cost." Luna, still calm, tried to get them to see this.
"Like what? 80 million bits?" With a swing and a miss on Baby's part no doubt, Shar could feel his brain to mush just from being around Baby this long.
"It's more than something like that, isn't it?" Shar asked, yet he feared what the answer would be.
"It would most likely cost you both your lives in the process." Celestia told them bluntly.
"Awesome." Said Shar with much sarcasm, "So uh, what exactly are we supposed to do?" Shar, very curious needed to know.
"We want you both to stay away from everypony, don't make any friends, just stay to yourselves, because after we are able to re-open the tear, you two will be going back, right away, and we don't want anypony to be sad about you leaving, you two will stay here in Canterlot, in my castle, and my advice, stick together, if you split up, it might make you more vulnerable to attack." Celestia did her best to warn them, so nothing could happen.
"Yes, Celestia's right, stay away from everypony, and keep to yourselves, it's for the best." Luna chimed in with her two bits, restating the keep to yourselves part very clearly.
"Now, you two, the guards will guide you to your rooms, starting tomorrow, our recovery will be begin, now that we know you two will be safe." Celestia motioned for the guards to come close.
Baby and Shar followed the guards to their rooms, which were right across from each other, as the guards let them be, they talked.
"What do we do Shar, I mean, everypony will be out for us if they find out." Baby said, a little freaked out.
"I know Baby, but we'll be okay, we'll stick together, like we always have, tomorrow, we'll decide what to do." Shar said, quite calmly, trying to get his brother calm as well.
"Okay Shar, you're right, nothing will happen, right?" Baby asked his big brother worried.
"Come on Baby, you know your brother better than that, I wouldn't let anypony hurt my little bro. They'd have another thing coming if they tried." Shar let Baby know that he'd always protect him, which he would, no matter all the silly arguments, or fights that they'd have, at the end of the day, these two brothers would have each others backs through thick and thin, and they both knew it.
"Good night Shar, cya in the morning." Baby said his farewells to his brother as he opened his door to his room.
"Night Baby, cya in the morning." Shar said his farewells as well, as he opened his door.
The two brothers went into their respective rooms, shut their doors, and went to sleep, not quite sure what would come the next day, but knew, that something would.
Author's Note
First, we would like to clarify something early on here for everypony, the colors are different because they match who typed it, red is Shar, and 'cornflowerblue' is Baby. (To the Mod who came up with 'cornflowerblue' you are awesome, just sayin, keep on being you, and I swear, I am being entirely sincere, no sarcasm at all.) Moving on, the parts written by Baby, are about Baby, (weird, right?) and the same goes for Shar, (as in all the parts written by Shar are about Baby, even weirder, right?!? Just joshing you on that part, obviously Shar has been writing about Shar.) Also, the parts that are written in white were written by ghosts. Hoped you all enjoyed, and trust us, there will be more!
Also, don't worry, this is the only chapter that will be this short, sort of a pre-story/ explanation, and to make up for it, another chapter will be released tomorrow (Saturday the 14th). Stay tuned!
