Pinkie Pie And The Jolly Man in red

Its was the night of Hearth warming eve.. wait, no, I'm not that cliché.
It was a dark and snow-stormy night that just so happened to be the night of hearth warming eve. All the foals, both colt and filly were wrapped snug in bed, except for one.This one little filly of pink was in her family's kitchen, she was cooking up some pastries with whatever things she could find. Though It was only earlier this year she got her Cutie mark, Pinkie pie over the course of the year has become increasingly adept at baking. She baked cookies to cakes, cupcakes to Danishs and Pies to doughnuts. Today she was making a cake for someone special. A man tha-
"He comes to little foals and fillies every Hearthwarming night giving gifts to the well behaved. He wears all red and has a big thick beard and bears presents for everypony! I'm making a cake for him as thanks for giving fun to all the ponies in the world! " Pinkie Pie says...?
Erm well. yes, um.. Thank you Pinkie pie, can you... not Interrupt the story's flow please?
"No promises" .. I.. wait um.. Pinkie Pie says
So Pinkie Pie is making cake for Santa, A magical being that gives presents to everypony, like herself. Though, Pinkie pie should be sleeping right now; for he only comes to those who are asleep when he arrives, Pinkie wants to take the risk and do one last thing before he comes.
Her hoofs work at impossible speeds, she adds the mix, along with the eggs and water stirring them all together while humming a certain tune of a song she shouldn't even know for a couple more years, besides, she should be more silent. her parents and sisters are sleeping in the other rooms, if she gets caught shes done for! and Santa doesn't come to those who are caught being naughty
I probably will be caught if you keep narrating everything I do!
That's my job! and I need to put food on the table you know, following you ponies around and narrating so people can stare at written stories of your everyday life from the comfort is what we authors do. Besides, they cant hear me. frankly neither should you !
Pinkie Pie Decides that its best to go back to her cake mixing.
I never sai- *Ding*
That ding was me cutting you off so you don't derail the story more, It was also the stove indicating its at its hottest it can be, you better hurry up Pinkie pie.
Silently without saying anything else, Pinkie pours the mixed concoction into the cake pans. The gooey delight fills the frames. Resisting the urge to jam her face in right now and eat the uncooked mixture, she tosses the filled cake pans into the oven, the loud clatter of the metal pans being tossed into the oven echoed throughout the house. She paused, standing still silently. no sound. she makes a sigh of relief after some time standing in one place.
She silently shuts the oven and waits.
After what seemed like a minute for the reader but was actually 28 minutes for Pinkie pie, the cake was done. stopping the timer at 00:02 to make sure it didn't ding again she opens the oven door and yanks the cake panned cakes out of the oven with her Pony mouth cooking mitten or whatever you want it to be called. Placing down and sliding them out of the pan and onto a plate proved tedious for the young pony for a pony without magic, getting a cakes out a pan is quite troubling to do and to watch. Luckily whatever pony made this, added a little flap thing that cuts under the cake to loosen it for the less fortunate ponies who cant mind lift all their problems out of their life.
She was, however a very magical earth pony who, with the pity of the author. lifted the cake safely out the pan and onto the plate with much less effort than most
She looks up at the "so-called" invisible author with a look of satisfaction. The author (who is quite dashing and handsome might I add) nodded slightly but directed her attention back at the cake that needed to be completed in time for Heartswarming Santa's arrival.
Getting back to her cake... lets see, to finish she needed to get the frosting, The frosting is locked in the only cabinet with the triple keyhole lock and chains, on the front reads:
"Keep away Pinkamena" -Mom and Dad
I wouldn't blame them, especially after what happened... "Last time"

Because I'm the author.
In order to get the frosting and frosters she needed to slip into her parents rooms, hack the high security vault that has a case with twice the many locks that holds the frosting and get the three key keyring that unlocks the cabinet and get int- or.. just pull the keys out of your puffy mane. Honestly? That could have very much ruined the whole stealthy idea I had in mind for this story! whatever... At least I can make this a comedy or something.
Lets just say.. Pinkie pie suddenly remembers, earlier this week she did all of that sneaking to get the key already and didn't need to do it again . Weird how she didn't remember up until now.
Pinkie Pie started frosting the now cooled down cake, coating the top in green and the bottom in red, she ran green zigzags on the perimeter of the red part of the cake and red zigzags on the green. she made little snowflakes in white on the top and wrote:
"Dear Santy claus hehe, may I call you that. thank you for everything and giving everypony presents every year, I'm sure eve- "
She stopped when she ran out of space, she attempted to neatly scrape the frosting on that one area off but only made it look worst. she covered it up with a giant snowflake frosting.
With the cake finally done the young filly finally realized how late it really was. It was 11:30 and was turning to a very dangerous 11:31. with no time to spare, she rushed to her room and went to bed.
Thirty, well, twenty-nine minutes later a gush of wind and snow flew in from the fireplace and began to form in the middle of the room, from the snow came a pair of boots, then legs and moving up to the torso arms and head it was obvious this was no pony. This tired looking old human looked around the room, warily checking every corner and couch cushion for anypony who's awake. He glares at the Handsome yet apparently not invisible author.
He crams a gift into authors hands and begins to walk back to the fireplace , wait what?
Um, Mr.Santa your missing someone, you see, I don't live here and there's a filly sleeping in the other room who better deserves a present than I do. I kept tell her to basically stop being herself for my own selfish desires for this story. if anyone needs some Hearthwarming Its her. He looked at me, the author as I pointed to the cake waiting on the counter to be noticed .
Santa Waddled his jolly butt to the counter, taking a knife and reading the top before cutting a piece of the cake. After completely finishing the entire cake he waddles back to the fireplace, he begins to disappear into another ball of wind and snow, once his body is completely transformed into air he disappears up the chimney leaving behind a giant wrapped gift, shaped like a cannon, on the side it wrote:
Dear Pinkie Pie,
Thank you for the wonderful cake you made, I always look forward to coming here for your surprises every year!
I'm sure with this present you'll find you can make much more surprises for others. Share cheer to everypony every other day of the year for me ok?
Santa Claus.
From outside, the sound of jingling bells fades along with the sound of someone "ho'ing". Why does he even do that? the author wonders.
