Hospital Horror

Fluttershy awoke with a gasp, a sharp pain in her stomach making her gasp and whimper. She held it with a foreleg and looked around, noticing she was in a hospital. An abandoned hospital from the looks of it.

"Hello?" she called softly, shaking in fear. No answer. "Somepony? Anypony?"

When there was no answer again, she pulled the sheets off and fell out of bed with a yelp. The pain in her stomach wasn't the only pain she head. When she hit the floor, her head had a burst of stinging pain. She wailed and held it, rolling onto her back.

"Wh-Wh-What happened?" she whimpered.

Suddenly there was a noise down the halls outside the room. Shy let out a gasp and crawled under the bed. As soon as she was hidden, a pony figure entered the room. Fluttershy gasped as it was missing the bottom jaw, its tongue hanging out as blood stained the lips. They eyes were nothing but empty, bloody sockets. The pony itself was wearing a straitjacket.

It looked around the room before leaving. Shy put a hoof over her mouth and whimpered before crawling out from under the bed. She looked around the room for anything she could use as a weapon. She soon spotted a can of scalpels on a nurse's cart. She quickly hobbled over to it and took one before two creatures appeared in the doorway.

Shy gasped as a creature let out a roar. "No, please!" she cried as one of them ran at her.

The yellow mare gasped as she was tackled and began stabbing the creature's side. The thing let out a hiss and reared back before Shy drove the scalpel in its eye. Tears streamed the shy mare's face as the creature fell beside her, dead. The other one ran at her as Shy scooted back.

"S-Stay away!!!" she cried as the creature lunged.

This time, she was ready, and held out the scalpel, stabbing the creature in the eye and killing it. She then rolled the body off of her and curled up, crying.

The shy mare stuck her head out of her room and looked down the hall. The hospital looked rundown and falling apart, rust on the walls and pieces of the wall missing.

"Wh-What's happened here?" she whimpered, entering the hallway.

The yellow mare kept trotting down the hall when she spotted a door with a large crack in it. She gasped and froze before slowly trotting over to it. The mare reached up and opened the door slightly, peering in. Inside, she saw something that froze her to the core. The far wall had a large, glowing red hole. Just then a pony creature stepped through and hissed at Shy, making her gasp. She then turned and ran.

"Wh-What's happening?!" she cried. "I want my friends!!!"

Her teary eyes made it hard for her to see where she was going and caused her to run into another creature. It hissed at her and lunged as she dove to the side, gasping.

"Oh, gosh!" she cried, taking off down the hall. "Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my GO-OSH!!!"

She rounded a corner and saw a group of creatures ahead. She let out a whimper and dove into a nearby room, closing and locking the door. She then backed up against the far wall and then dove under a nearby bed. The silhouette of a pony appeared in the window, making Shy gasp and cover her mouth. The doorknob began to rattle before banging noises were heard. Shy whimpered audibly before a clicking noise was heard.

The door swung open as a creature stepped in, looking around. The shy mare did her best to keep as quiet as possible so as not to alert the creature. It wasn't easy for her considering her fragile nature but more than anything, she didn't want to be caught. This gave her an advantage and made her stay silent. The creature looked around a bit more before running out, snarling. Fluttershy covered her face and whimpered softly. Shy then winced and held her head as another jolt of pain shot through her body. The pegasus just lay there for a bit longer before sliding out from under the bed.

She stuck her head out from the room and looked down the rusty halls. When she saw it was clear, she left and slowly headed down the hall, hugging the wall. When she got to an intersection, she looked at the exit sign and followed the arrow, still hugging the wall.

"Please..." she whimpered. "Let me go..."

She then took off down the hall, the door to the stairs coming into view. She dove through the door and slammed it shut when there was a banging noise on the other side.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" cried Shy, holding the door shut.

The creatures snarled as they tried to open the door. One pushed it open to slip its bony foreleg through. Shy gasped and stabbed it. The creature let out a hiss and pulled back. The pegasus then took deep breaths before taking off down the stairs. The doors burst open and the creatures began to chase her. Shy whimpered and cried.

"NO! PLEASE!!!" she wailed, when, suddenly, she felt a pain in her chest.

She let out a yelp and tripped, tumbling down the stairs and hitting the bottom with a thud. She let out whimpers as she weakly tried to crawl away. Her whole body ached and her hind leg felt broken or dislocated. When she got to the door to the third floor, she weakly reached up and tried the doorknob, finding it locked. She cried and wailed.

"Nooo... Nooo-ooo... Please..." she whimpered.

She heard a noise behind her and gasped, letting out a high-pitched scream.

"Breaking news," said the news mare. "After Fluttershy, who had recently been in a terrible car accident while visiting Ponytropolis, awoke in the hospital and proceeded in an attempt to escape, killing 2 nurses and wounding another in the process. It was reported that she kept screaming when approached by a nurse or doctor. She was then captured and transferred to the Manehattan Asylum. It seems she had suffered head trauma and had hallucinations that she was being attacked by strange creatures. We all wish her the best and for a speedy recovery, but it's not looking good... In other news..."
