Rainbow Dash always loved it when she was resting on the clouds, the chilling air, cooling her off after a day of hard work. She loved to gasp in a huge breath of air and just exhale it, watching her breath swirl in the air, and disappear. Or when she could look down and see all of Equestria, just resting there. She lived for the nights when she could see the stars, sparkling above and beckoning her to fly with them. The cloud she currently rested on was her favorite cloud. Just the right size, where Rainbow Dash could lie her head down and doze off, and have dreams about flying even faster. When she would wake up, she inhaled the crisp air, still chilly and fresh, and smiled.
Tonight was a different night. The air was colder, and more harsh. She would have to eventually go home, and get ready to get to work. Rainbow Dash rolled over on her side, and watched her warm breath whirl around like smoke from a chimney. Stretching her wings first, then her legs, she pried herself from the comfortable cloud and yawned. "I wonder time it is. Huh." Rainbow Dash blinked and peered down below. "Goooooood morning Equestria!" Rainbow Dash didn't see anyone walking around, and there was no pony in sight. "Weird." She shrugged an rolled over to the other side, where she could see more of the forest, where she occasionally flew around, to relax herself and let the air course through her.
Rainbow Dash listened and discover a slight humming noise coming from below. Curious, she whipped around and lend her head towards the noise, trying to ignore the sound of whistling wind. The noise was soft, and if Rainbow Dash knew what it was, she might've been able to falls asleep to the sound. Her wings stretched once more in an eager manner, as she leaned closer and closer to the mystery sound. Rainbow Dash sprang up, and hopped to another cloud floating about 10 feet under, trying to be as quiet as she could. The barely audible noise she now discovered was..a voice. What voice, she knew not, but was intent on finding out. Peering down in the cloak of green leaves, she found a place to land. Rainbow Dash would have to land softly, without and sound or else she might interrupt the humming noise.
A few clouds later, Rainbow could now see the canopy of branches and twigs. How she was going to land without sound, she had no clue. The cloud drifted by slowly, and patiently, Rainbow waited. The hypnotizing sound of the humming voice still lingering. Rainbow Dash had no patience left. She needed to know what was happening and she needed to know now. Her wings pointed straight up, and she dove for the land. Her wings flapped and she plummeted for the trees. Exhilarated, she smiled and swopped right above the trees, hovering, and listening for the sound. As soon as she did so, she heard "Hush little baby. don't say a word.." Rainbow Dash knew the voice instantly. "FlutterShy!!" Rainbow Dash almost shouted, and the singing stopped. "Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow Dash hurtled into a tree, just in time to see a yellow pony rise from the leaves. "Rainbow Dash? Is that you?" Rainbow Dash giggled and said in a low voice "No, it is I, ClutzerShy, your evil twin!" Fluttershy flew around the trees, looking for the mystery voice. Rainbow snorted and shouted "I am here for your hooves!!" She clutched her stomach laughing. Fluttershy gasped "I need those..." Fluttershy dove into the trees, and immediately saw the giggling cyan pony, facing the other way. She picked apart branches, and slowly went up behind Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash shouted again "I am here for your hooves, I am going to paint them green and put spikes on them!!" She laughed even harder and swung her head back, unaware of Fluttershy hovering behind her. Fluttershy huffed and whispered "Rainbow, shouldn't you be in bed?" Rainbow Dash jumped, and fell from the branch screaming. Flutterhy covered her mouth with her hooves and froze. Rainbow Dash flailed her ams and suddenly caught balance right before hitting the ground. "Fluttershy, you scared me! Don't do that!" Fluttershy flew down and pawed at the ground. "Sorry." She looked down and smiled "It was funny, though."
