This is the origin story for Bladechaser. Was originally thinking he was the descendant of a long line of swordstallions who fought alongside Celestia and Luna against Discord's reign. Thinking back I thought it better to make things more interesting. This also aims explains any future relations with the mane 6 in later stories as well as to help inspire me to recontinue my other stories. There will be a slightly more dark tone, though it will be a far cry from the more infamous grimdark fics like "Rainbow Factory" and "Cupcakes". The darkness will have proper meaning here and not be just gratuitous violence. I Pinkie Promise! That said I would ask readers to critique it objectively. If the genre isn't your style then don't just downvote right away. If it is a genre you like and didn't like how it was handled, then please give a critique in the comments so writers like myself can improve and make better stories. Just downvoting automatically hurts fanfics here and I personally don't like it when a good story is just destroyed because of some people who don't even like the genre in the first place.
