Fluttershy's Needs

Well, she needed a lot of things, really.
She needed to keep her mind off of certain pressing issues; needed to keep herself distracted, to keep her mind busy.
It was a beautiful late Spring day, and Fluttershy had every reason to be happy. The forest was in full bloom, the skies were clear and sunny, birds were chirping, and it was a great day for animals everywhere. Animals that were now, after a long winter, were visiting her every day, and giving her plenty to be busy about.
There was always a need for herbs to care for the sick animals, and a need for foraged goods to feed them with. Fluttershy smiled as she picked through the berry bushes, searching for early ripened raspberries; gently picking them off of the thorny vines, being careful to avoid pricking her sensitive nose on one.
"It would be worth it, though." she thought, "all this work, if it even only helps one bird. Or maybe a cute squirrel, or a chipmunk!" Her kindness obviously knew no bounds, she would spend all day preparing for any incidents she would encounter as a caretaker; it was more than enough to keep her mind off of...
"Oh no.", she said, her horror sinking in, as she thought of it.
The time of year. Late spring, it was mating season, the time when Fluttershy knew she had to keep to herself. This was the worst time of year to be a shy pony, unable to approach a stallion.
She needed to be rutted, and she could never bear the thought of being mounted by a strange pony, she couldn't possibly get so close to a male she didn't know intimately. All of her close friends, the only ponies she could ever open her feelings up to, were mares. That didn't leave a lot of options.
Fluttershy knew she had to stay home, to keep herself alone, just her and the few animals that weren't tending to their usual springtime business. Had to keep herself stocked up with fresh herbs and berries, for her charges, in case they got sick.
There weren't any sick ones of course. Fluttershy could never leave them if they were. That's why she needed to keep them handy, she assured herself. Just in case. A pony never knew.
The day carried on, the heat bearing down on the poor mare. In heat. She had to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated as she floated and fluttered through the forest, looking around every tree, every bush, finding what things she might possibly need. She gathered what she could, and placed it into a basket possibly more dainty than herself and then carrying it back, held in her teeth, to her cottage for later. It was a lot of work, but worth it to keep her mind off her predicament, and so she wouldn't need to go into town in her current state. For anything. She couldnt bear to be in town for anything right now.
"It would be absolutely terrible if I needed to go into town, now", Fluttershy thought to herself. She could never leave her home, because if she did, then she would risk encountering a stallion on the way. A large, handsome stallion with his huge, throbbing... parts, digging deep inside her; right where she needed it most. Right now, mounting her, covering and consuming her tiny body, his coarse fur rubbing across her back, as he would rut her with vigor. She needed this, and as Fluttershy began to space out, a vacant smile spread across her lips, and a bead of saliva slowly ran down from the corner of her mouth.
She was losing herself inside her fantasies, and soon she would go too far to go back. Saliva was certainly not the only thing dampening her fur anymore. She began to reach down, lower... and lower, but as she did so, a little voice in the back of her mind grew louder and louder, chastising her for losing her control until, eventually, she heard it.
Jolting back to her senses, she quietly whispered to herself, "Oh no, please not now". She had to stop this right here, right now. She would busy herself in the forest, and keep her mind off of things. She had to, the other options were far too frightening, she could never, get so close to somepony she didn't know.
She couldn't think of how nice it would be to let him mount her, his soft underfur rubbing gently onto her back. His deep throbbing stallionhood, pressing insistently against her gates, demanding to be let inside her, and quench the fires in her loins. She desired nothing more than to drink deeply of another pony's... kindness.
Underneath Fluttershy's yellow fur, her cheeks were turning a deep crimson, as were other parts of her body. If only she could reach down... and help herself...
She caught herself doing exactly that, yet again, as she jolted alert from her another of her daydreaming fantasies, forcing herself to keep her mind on what she was doing.
The most important thing to her right now, was her animals, not her marehood demanding satisfaction. It was busying herself with kind acts, for them, not some handsome stallion busying himself with kind acts, on her.
In a raw panic, Fluttershy flew as fast as her gentle wings would let her, gathering whatever looked useful, frantically flapping her wings, working up a deep sweat.
She kept this up nearly all day, stopping at her cottage whenever possible to cool off and drink something refreshing, the cool water quenching her thirst and cooling the fires within her. Occasionally, she would stop to admire one of her animal friends, perhaps have a short chat. She certainly needed the rest, and it helped to keep her mind off things. She just hoped they wouldn't notice her predicament.
As if any male (and some females of the right persuasions) couldn't smell her from a quarter mile away, and know instantly of her state. Fluttershy, all sweaty, and in heat absolutely stunk of pheromones to anything with a keen sense of smell. They were just too kind to bring it up, it was either a natural course of business to them, or they knew better than to bring attention to it, and shock the poor shy mare.
It took most of the day, but Fluttershy eventually wore herself out, now walking through the forest not too far from her home, too tired to possibly go to Ponyville today. It was a good excuse, she thought, the reasoning helping lay her mind at ease. She would not have to go into town today.
As she stopped in a clearing, Fluttershy felt a soft gush of cool spring breeze, reaching her damp body, allowing her to finally relax, and lift the burden of her fears off of her back. Fluttershy sighed contently as she stretched her aching wings out, the mild breeze passing through her soft feathers, cooling her body. After a hard day, the breeze passing across her lithe body, caressing her soft fur, was a heavenly feeling for the tired mare.
As she finally relaxed her tired muscles, she felt something new. Another ache, but this time not in her tired muscles, and not in her loins, but now somewhere else, somewhere possibly more horrible. Fluttershy was so busy in her haste to keep her mind off her heat, she had forgotten to tend to one of a pony's most basic needs.
She needed to pee, and she needed to do it right now.
