My sister was pacing behind me, and I turn to glare at her. "Stop moving." I say, but in my usual soft voice, it sounds like a question. Shes just nervous, right?
I look down at the stone necklace that swallowed my neck, a ruby glaring at the head of the person in front. My blonde, almost white, hair was fairly brushed, the sides pulled back into a fishtail. I wore Amity's normal colors, red and yellow. My sister the same, minus the hair. Hers was short, brown, while mine blonde, was just brushing the top of my forelegs. My tail was long, as well.
The pony in front of me was called,-I think his name was Dr. Hooves.- and I stepped forward, the motion going through the other Amity ponies. I was absentmindedly biting my lip, ready. I was feeling so pumped, I barely noticed the ten minutes that went by.
Until my name was voiced over the speakers. Almost startled from my own thoughts, I walk into the silent, sterile room. They ask me to sit, and they injected me with a serum.
Thats the last thing I remember from that point on.

The pony who put me under was staring at me. I almost shrunk back, but looked at her with my red eyes. "Yes?" I ask, and my voice is tart under the softness.
Almost as if coming back from a trance, she smiled. "Well, yours was.. interesting." I stare blankly at her, and wait for her to continue. I wanna leave, woman. Hurry. My impatient mind snapped, grouchily. "Your results seem to be Dauntless...." Her lips press firmly together. I notice the blue of Erudite on her. "Candor, and Erudite."
I stare, having to comprehend these facts. Three? I had never heard of anyone having three. She walked froward, and leaned down.
"You're Divergent."
The word sends a shiver down me, and it felt as if it shouldn't be spoken aloud. "Divergent?" I whisper, and then look to see her quickly scanning the data, and the faction pops up on the screen.
Amity
My eyes widen, and as I'm too retort something, she gives me a 'shut-up' look. "Trust me. This is safer, they cannot know." I don't even know what divergent means, but I just hesitantly nod. My mind is now flushing with alarm. What had she meant by...
Safer?

I meet my sister, and she looks happy, her pink-red skin flushed darker. I glance at our skin tones, and see how different they are. Mine was a orange, just a little bit darker than peach. I think I'm finally realizing how different we are. I look at her, my eyes searching hers. I give up after awhile.
The two of us begin to head back to the train we were taken here from, and boarding it, we shuffle into our assigned seats. Yes, assigned.
I don't think I'll ever get this place.

As we arrive, I glance at the brightly colored area. It doesn't disturb me much. I grew up here. My sister was already racing out towards the house, excitement clear on her face. I follow closely behind, my hair sprawling out behind me. I wonder what I will choose.
Dauntless and Erudite seem okay, but I really don't want to have to be smart all the time. Candor is a option, but I'm not great at telling the truth. Sometimes you just don't have the nerve...
I don't. I'm anything but a open book.
I decide this as we enter our house. It has brilliant colors patterning around everywhere. The floor is a more muted yellow, the walls a dark red. Swirls are painted in bright red on the walls, and they almost seem to be saying something. A unknown language. I look at my mom, and smile slightly. She is pretty. She has teal eyes, and pastel pink hair. Her skin is yellow. She has soft, feathery wings.
Her name is Fluttershy.
My father sits next to her, though. He has orange skin, like me, sorta. His eyes are red, as well. But he has a shock of white and brown hair. His name is Carrot Slice.
"Hey." My voice is cool, gentle. A small round of greetings come back, and I announce that I would be in my room. I did alot of thinking in there.
Maybe I am cut out for Erudite.
I open my door, and the familiar glass figures greet me. Blown, green glass sculptures were crowding my room, each of a different item. A guitar, butterfly, even a spring.
I find them oddly beautiful, and I guess thats just me. If you looked closer, you could see little pieces of twigs and leaves inside of them.
I look through my drawers, finding a light yellow nightgown for that night. I put it aside, and decided to pass time by cooking for my parents and Renee, my sister. I sprint down the stairs, a small warning to stop before I hurt myself as I headed into the kitchen. I didn't reply to the soft voice of my mother.
I pull out some apples, and other fruit. Today was fruit day. We had certain foods we ate every day. Slicing them up, I toss them into a crank blender, and begin to make a small drink for everypony. Strawberries and raspberries.
After setting the table, I had a variety of fruit on a plate, which I put a equal amount on each plate. I smile at it, as I call out dinner is done.

I talk with my family for what may be the last time, and savor the moments. I don't think I'll be able to see them again. I swallow, and clear my throat before speaking. "I love you guys." My voice was emotional, which was a tad unusual for me. They each gave me a kiss on the forehead, but my sister just hugged me.
I begin cleaning after that, and as I walk to my bedroom, I send a glance back to where they are. I'm going to really, really miss them.
