“Hey! Bartender! Gimme another drink down here, I’m dry!” Rainbow called at the unicorn cleaning some dirty glasses further down the bar. This bottle was one of only twenty five bottles released in all of Equestria; it was a small miracle that this establishment had been about able to get one.
“I must warn you, this bottle is incredibly expensive,” the unicorn said as he levitated the bottle in the air. He was fairly sure that the mare was unaware of the price per drink.
“Money isn’t an issue,” Rainbow said with a confident, cocky grin as she eagerly waited for her next drink.
“Fair enough.” Setting the open bottle down on the counter behind the bar, the bartender grabbed a clean glass and tossed a few ice cubes inside it. Grabbing the bottle again, he poured a good amount of the smooth-tasting liquid into the waiting glass and set it down in front of Rainbow.
“So, what is this?” Rainbow asked as she picked up the glass, staring at the amber liquid inside. After swirling the liquid around a few times, she rose the glass to her lips and took a small sip.
“This bottle is a very limited edition from the Fillydelphian Distillery, aged for twenty five years. They only released twenty five bottles, one for each year that is was aged for,” the bartender replied as Rainbow set the glass back down. “The real neat thing about this bottle though, in my opinion, is that is was matured in seasoned bourbon barrels. “Yeah, I can definitely taste that part,” Rainbow said as she took another sip of the drink. “This really is something else…” Looking back up, she asked, “Where can I get my own bottle?”
“I’m sorry to say, ma’am, but the rest of the bottles were sold at an auction several months back. We were incredibly lucky to get this one.”
“Hmm…” Rainbow scratched her head with a hoof as she debated buying the rest of the bottle; it was just that good. “How much is the bottle?”
“Three hundred and twenty seven bits for the bottle and fifteen bits per drink, tax included,” the unicorn said, placing the bottle in front of her.
“That’s it? I’ll take it; just put it on my tab, please!”
“Alright then. Name?”
“What, you don’t recognize me? I’m Rainbow Dash!” she replied confidently as she cocked an eyebrow; she had been sure that everybody knew her name by now. “ Y’know, the newest member of the Wonderbolts?”

“Heh, I just bought it from the bar,” Rainbow said with a smug smile as she looked over at her commander. “Want some?”
“Do I?” Spitfire asked incredulously. “Is water wet? Of course I want some!”
“Hehe, alright then,” Rainbow chuckled as she waved, trying to get the bartender’s attention. A few seconds later, the bartender noticed her and nodded, silently saying he’d be there shortly. “I’ll get you a glass, just hold on a few seconds…”
About a minute later, the bartender walked back up to them, his face lighting up in a smile as he recognized Rainbow’s companion. “Ah, miss Spitfire, a pleasure to see you again! How did the season go?”
“It went well, Silver Spark,” Spitfire replied. “And with the addition of our newest member, Rainbow, we’ve been able to do things that we’ve never been able to do without her. Having twelve ponies up in the air gives us the ability to run some incredible formations, you know?”
“Oh, I know exactly what you mean,” the bartender replied, smiling. “I was at the first show of the season!”
“Wait, so you saw me…” Rainbow trailed off as she facehoofed in embarrassment, remembering her little accident halfway through the first show. “Sounds a good idea as any,” Soarin replied, pouring the two of them the last little bit.
