After the conclusion of the Case of the Mad Mare, Nickel Lionheart decides to take a vacation. He heads to Pasternville, a quaint little town known across Equestria as a honeymoon and vaction spot. But he wont get a chance to relax, as proof of something dreadfully wrong with the town reach his ears - or eyes, as it is. Pasternville is entirely devoid of foals. And Pasternville is not a retirement village.
