"Doctor are you sure there isn't anything else we can do to help him?" Asked Twilight.
"I'm sure ma'am, but we tried everything possible medicine,surgery,magic even home remedies his body is too weak to take more pills the more we give him the faster he dies."
"So were just gonna sit beside our friends as he dies?" Yelled Rainbow Dash as she gets closer to the doctor.
"Rainbow!!! Please come down, we don't want to distract the other patients here." Said Fluttershy quietly in the back.
"I'm sorry to say this, but your friend is right. He doesn't have much time left so you guys better stay next to him. At least try to comfort him as much as possible." Said the doctor has he leaves the room.
The mane 6 turns back at the wall where a hospital bed lays with a young man which was asleep.
"Should we wake him up?" Asked Rarity.
"I don't think tha-" Before Twilight could finish her sentence Pinkie Pie was already next to Emerald.
"Hey Emerald guess who's here to visit you?" Said Pinkie quietly in his ears.
Emerald quickly realized Pinkie was already next to him and he gets up quickly. stares a the girls in his room.
"Oh hi girls, what are you guys doing here?"
"Were just here to say hi" Replied Applejack "Hows the food here?"
"Well what can you say it's hospital food. I would like to have you to bring some of those Apple pie of yours. But since they don't allow other food in here, I'll just eat what I was given."
"Well if you need anything else just say it." Twilight said as she and the others gathered around Emerald and his bed.
"Well there is one thing I would like you girls to do for me......" said Emerald.
"What is it?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Don't cry about this when I'm gone."
"Who said your going to die?" Asked Pinkie as she pretends to laugh about it.
"I over heard the conversation you guys was having with the doctor. I also already know by the tenth day when the surgery didn't work, and the pills I took didn't do nothing for me. It only made my stomach burn.
"But aren't you afraid what's gonna happen after you die?" Asked Fluttershy.
"I know it's scary and all, but it's nature. You can't live forever you know unless your a princess."
"It's going to be sad not having you around anymore even right now it's hard to admit your dying." said Rarity as there was tears in her eyes.
"But how are you so clam about this right now? Your not even going to be there when go on more adventures and helping out the princesses." Questioned Twilight.
"I know how you guys feel alright. When I first moved here, I was already depressed from the death of my parents and the loss of my old job. But you girls was there for me and now I need you girls the most. I know it's very hard right now. If I never met you girls, I would have already killed myself way earlier than now. But I got a good yea with you guys, and it's been the best year of my life."
"So what now?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Well we coul---- cough cough COUGH COUGH"
"Emerald, you're alright?" Asked Applejack.
"Yeah I cough once and a while but hey at least I'm fine right now."
"Do you need some water?" Asked Pinkie Pie.
"Yeah Pinkie please if you don't mind." Said Emerald.
Pinkie quickly left the room and then Emerald started to cough again.
"Emerald I have something to tell you." Said Twilight as she gets closer towards Emerald.
"What is it?"
"For the past few months I had developed a crush on you. Your ability to know everything about the outdoors. How you like to read so much along with me. Now since you're going to die I can't really get to do anything with you as a girlfriend."
"Huh funny thing actually, I have a crush myself, and it's you."
"Wait really?" Asked Twilight.
"Wait so you both have a crush on each other? THAT'S GREAT." Yelled Rarity out loud.
"Rarity this is bad Emeralds not going to be here soon, and Twilight is going to be heartbroken when he's gone."
Fluttershy whispered into Rarity's ear.
"Yes Rarity, I do love Twilight for everything she does. I even enjoy when she goes all OCD on something."
"Wow, I can't believe it right now,"
"Yeah me neither." Said Emerald but this time his voice is now weaker.
"But how do we make it up for so much lost time." Asked Twilight.
"You guys should just shut up already and kiss." Said Rainbow Dash in the back

As Twilight turned around, she felt her lips was touched by Emerald's mouth
.
"Oh my Celestia he finally did it." Twilight thought as he let the kiss continue.
After Emerald was done, he leaned back and stared at Twilight.
"Wow, well this is kinda awkward." Said Fluttershy.
"I find it funny and kinda attractive." said Emerald but this time his voice was weaker than last time.
"Emerald your voice it's getting kinda raspy." commented Applejack. Then Pinkie came back with the hot water.
"Here you go Emerald. Sorry for the wait but I saw some awesome pillows and I just keep touching them and well I got kinda carried away." Said Pinkie as she tries to explain herself.
"Pinkie it's fine." responded Emerald as he takes a sip of boiled water.
The heart monitor was getting slower as Emerald smile was fading away. The others noticed what was going on and got closer towards Emerald.
"Please Emerald, Please don't leave us now." Said Fluttershy as she starts crying.
Emerald looked at her friends and then at the window. Then he looks back at them.
"You girls are the only thing I have left right now. I don't want you guys to stay like this forever. I don't want you girls to be like me. Give yourself faith make some new friends but never forget the old ones."
"We will never forget you Emerald. Even when we die we'll gonna find you. Rather in heaven or in ghost form." Said Twilight as there was tears in here eyes.
"You girls have given me a wonderful year of my life. I thank you guys."
Then Emerald closed his eyes, and the heart monitor when silent. Emerald was now dead.
"Good bye Emerald Gear we will never forget you, and the things you did with us." Said Twilight as she looks at Emerald's body and then looked at her friends which is now crying and agreeing with her.
"He was a good athlete." Said Rainbow.
"He was the best apple picker I ever seen." Said Applejack.
"He was a great Party planner." Said Pinkie.
"He was a wonderful care taker." Said Fluttershy.
"He was a man of words." Said Rarity.
"He was bed flyer I have ever seen." Commented Rainbow.
"He was also a good friends of ours, and we will never forget him."

Sorry if this was sad. I don't usually write sad things and also Emerald Gear is my OC so that part of me died.
