The Stars mourn for their princess is dying.
Grief is lodged in her heart and it kills,
Tears fall quick in the moonlight
Her subjects cannot see her lament
For she has turned away.
She is drowning in her sorrow.
But sorrow is replaced by rage.
Her saddened eyes fall away
Instead replaced by despise.
Hate for the one who eclipses her,
Hate for the ones who shun her,
Instead opting for the caress of day.
Hate for the ones who do not see her masterpiece
The beauty of night.
The stars weep above her
Tears falling as comets.
Their princess is gone
Replaced by a Nightmare.
From somewhere deep inside
The lunar princess cries.
She can only watch as she hurts the ones she loves,
Slowly she fades away.
A celestial battle ensues,
Night versus Day.
A twilight battle.
Filled with dark powers 'twas truly the end of the Day.
But when night thought it triumphant, the dark to forever reign
The sun rose again.
Tears in her eyes, begging her sister to come back
But the sister she knew was gone.
Reluctantly the eldest sister took to action
And banished her sister to the moon she loved so dearly.
The stars swept her away
Taken away on a moonbeam ray.
With them she would stay
And forever alone would be the day.
But the stars cannot hold her forever
One day from her prison she will be released.
Powerless will be the day.
Who will stop the Nightmare?
