When Rainbow Dash is upset over the stallions' lack of romantic interest in her, Spike takes her on a date.

Rainbow Dash was never the kind of pony to care about what stallions thought of her, or at least that was what everypony assumed. When Spike finds out that what she really wants is to to be treated like a lady, he offers take her on a date. After all, it was just one date.
