Chapter One:Royal Invites
The day was bright with a cool breeze flowing past the busied streets of Canterlot meaning Fall is arriving and "The Annual Harvest Concert" is coming up, this year like every year the Princesses will receive a invite to the concert.
"May we please go sister it would be the most joyful of events to have Equestria's Princesses attend just this once." Luna begged Celestia as she took a sip of her cocoa. It was her first year back and Luna had already experienced friendship on Nightmare Night, but afterwards she became so busy in her duties that she barely has time to even talk to her sister. "Luna you know that as much as I would like to make the kingdom happy I must also protect them and that means that I can't go to social events." Celestia took another sip of her cocoa steam coming off of the hot chocolate drink in the cold sting of the wind letting off a warm mist from the cup. Luna thought about her sister's words and soon answered half-heartedly " You may not be able to go but I can go it would be good for my experience an-" Luna's words were cut off by Celestia in a stern tone "Look at the parchment sister" Luna scanned the paper and looked at it again "I do not see a problem sister"
"It will be during the night in which you must be guarding"
"You forget that all I do is raise the moon and the stars"
"No Luna not only do you raise the stars but you are the only one that can enter the Dream verse besides I already have an idea."
"Very well. Who do you have in mind?"
"Just a student."
"Twilight" Spike yelled as he ran into SweetApple Acres "Twilight you have a letter from Princess Celestia" Twilight looked up from her apple cider after a long day helping AppleJack harvest the apple's in the North and South orchard along with her friends. "Yes Spike what does the Princess want."
"I don't know I haven't read it yet. Y-you know I don't read your mail."
"Drop the act Spike I know you read it I know you read all my mail before giving it to me so what does it say. Spike gave a sigh and read the parchment...
"My Most Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle
Do to your recent coronation you have yet to be given your first royal duties it is my honor to invite you to 'The Annual Harvest Concert' Luna and I will not be able to attend do to schedule complications and Cadence is in the Crystal Empire. Do to the fact that you are now a Princess I would like for you to go in my place I am sending you two tickets I would send more but they were sold out.

Spike pulled out two tickets as Twilight surrounded them with a magenta aura she let out a annoyed sigh. Twilight muttered under her breath "I hope this isn't going to be like the Gala" she looked up and said to Spike "Alright let's get some sleep and we'll go in the morning.'' The following day Twilight got up combed out her hair, brushed her teeth and woke Spike up like she does every day "Spike wake up we're going to Rarity's." Spike got up soon after and levitating the ticket's behind her Twilight and Spike started off for Rarity's Boutique.
Chapter Two:Vistiting Friends
The light of the sun shone in through a window at the Carousel Boutique and gleamed off Rarity's glasses as she worked, she didn't seem to notice Twilight standing in the doorway. "Rarity." Twilight asked in a calm tone as Rarity ignored her "Rarity." Twilight asked again this time a little annoyed once more Rarity ignored her "Rarity!" Twilight yelled at Rarity this time Rarity looked up from her dress and looked at Twilight "Oh hello Twilight dear what brings you to the Boutique looking for a new dress or perhaps you and Flash are finally going out and you want to look good." Twilight blushed and looked at her friend she knew that she still had a crush Flash Sentry she needed to stay focused on the task at hoof. "W-what no none of those I was just wondering if you wanted to go with me to a concert in Manehatten tomorrow night"
"Tomorrow night you say well um... I'm afraid I won't be finished with my work, I've already had to make drastic changes to my schedule just to finish this dress."
"Who is that dress for then... Never mind, I guess I'll leave you to your work if you need any help just call me ok.''
"I'll be fine Twilight, have a nice day." Rarity looked back at Twilight and gave her a smile and with that Twilight left. As she and Spike walked down the dirt paths of Ponyville Twilight thought to herself about what if all her other friends want to go but it was to late for that she could already see Apple Jack's farm.
"Howdy Twi, howdy Spike. What brings ya'll to SweetApple Acres?" AppleJack said as she walked toward the two with a large cart of bright red and green apples behind her. Twilight looked at the mountain of apples still a little cranky that she had to skip lunch because her schedule had been altered "Hi AJ I was wondering if you wanted to go to a concert with me tomorrow night." AppleJack looked at Twilight with a smile stating her answer, but before she could give AJ the ticket AppleJack's smile had become a frown "Tomorrow night? Sorry Twi I already have some plans. But I'd love to go to a hoedown with ya some other time maybe. Bye Twi I gotta get back to work." AppleJack turned to back to work when Twilight said "It's not really a hoedown it's classical music."
"Sorry Twilight I'm not into classical..." AppleJack called back to her friend as Twilight and Spike were leaving SweetApple Acres. The next pony would be Rainbow Dash's house and Twilight already knew her answer, but she would have to try anyway.
When Twilight and Spike arrived at Rainbow Dash it appeared she was sleeping in... as she always does. "Stay here Spike I'll go get Rainbow." Twilight said seemingly confident she could wake up Rainbow Dash "Rainbow I have something I want to ask you wake up." Twilight said approaching the doorway to the house, she walked in and was instantly pinned to the floor by some pony "I'm not letting go of you until you pay for the damages to my mailbox...Derpy?" Rainbow Dash let go of Twilight and blushed sheepishly "Sorry Twilight I thought you were Derpy yesterday she broke my mailbox and I've been trying to get her to pay me back for the damages."
"..."Twilight stood up her left eye twitching a little bit. "So anyway I got invited to a party at the WonderBolts Base it's tomorrow night. AppleJack is going to be my wing pony, Rarity offered to make us dresses too... isn't that AWSOME!" Rainbow Dash expected to be asked a lot of questions like Who invited you to this party? or Does that mean that your a WonderBolt now? instead she got the last question she expected "So what about FlutterShy?" Twilight managed to get it out without stammering but she was Twilight the new alicorn that has read the dictionary all the way through at least ten times. "What does FlutterShy have to do with the WonderBolts?"
"Well it makes perfect sense if you know why AJ and Rarity are busy then you must know if FlutterShy is or not."
"Okay then. Well FlutterShy and Discord went up to Canterlot to compete in a art competition. They'll be gone at least three days"
"Oh Celestia." Twilight said with a sigh as she flew down to Spike. "Later Twilight'' Rainbow Dash said before going back into the house. "Twilight you're back! This weird mare kept trying to put a T.V or something like that in Rainbow's mailbox. When she made the mailbox fall she flew away. We have to find her."
"Hey. did you break my mailbox again! Ugh. Derpy get back here!" Rainbow Dash said flying after the wall-eyed Pegasus. "Um... never mind. So who are we going to ask next?"
"Well do you want to go Spike?"
"Me. No I don't like concerts I prefer to sleep at night."
"Suit yourself but your missing a really good sho-" Twilight was interrupted by a large gasp "Oh are those tickets to 'The Annual Harvest Concert' can I go please, please, PLEASE." Pinkie Pie smiled as big as she could in hope of going with Twilight since she has been to every social event except this one. "Uh...sure Pinkie but you have to be absolutely quiet when then show starts okay."
"Oh come now my middle name is quiet well really it's Dianna but quiet is my second middle name 'Pinkie (Pinkamina) Dianna Quiet Pie' yep."
"Okay Pinkie we leave in the morning."
