Not even a princess. She was born in the outskirts of Canterlot to two loving parents. Talulah Star and Brave Heart. Talulah was kind and beautiful while Brave Heart was brave and generous. Cadance was a shy and loving pony. She gave everyone  a chance to have friends, since she couldn’t bare to stand in the sight of a lonely filly or colt. Everypony in town said she was the kindest, most caring pony in the whole wide world.          One night, something terrible happened. A group of fierce and cruel ponies invaded the city. They stole goods and killed ponies. The group of ponies left right after the heist and were to never be seen again. However the chaos wasn’t over. Many fillies and colts were left with no parents. Sadly, that was Cadence’s case too. Cadence was destroyed by the fact that her parents died and was depressed. She didn’t spread love anymore. She was lonely. Her heart wasn’t filled with love and joy but rather with hate and anger. All the ponies Cadence knew felt like she had changed, like she was someone else. She would dread every day and not die through life rather than live it.   Because of her parent’s death, she had to be moved to another place. That was the case because no one else could take care of her.  She was moved to a small village full of kind ponies. They saw the state that Cadence was in, so they tried to cheer her up by giving her all the love they could. When Cadence was once again surrounded by love, hope and joy, her true self shone again. She started once again bringing love wherever she went and it was a pleasure for anypony to be Cadence’s friend.   She was adopted by 2 ponies. Ribbon Wishes and Sky Scrather. Ribbon Wishes was a very generous unicorn. She had a light pink coat and a beautiful, long, black mane.  She was also in love with fashion, and was the village’s seamstress. Sky Scrather was a honest and loyal Pegasus. He had a purple coat and a golden mane. He was, at that time, Equestria’s fastest flyer. Whenever he walked out the door he would be overrun by fans asking for his autograph. Cadence loved them both incredibly much. Her best memories were going in the park with her father or sewing dresses with her mother. They lived a simple and happy life.        The village ponies were nice too. They enjoyed having guests and helping others. Whenever they would be sad or angry, Cadence would come and cheer them up. She was incredibly good at that. Her nice words that flowed out of her mouth were like a spell to make ponies happy.   However, not everything in the town was nice. In the town there also lived an evil enchantress. She would cast spells to make the ponies angry or to make them hate each other. She planned on making all the town’s people angry, mean, jealous, full of hate. She was a green unicorn with a black mane. Ponies had legends and stories that she might be some sort of goddess of hate or something among those lines. But that was to change one day.   One day, despite of the advice gotten from her friends and family, Cadence went to the witch’s hut. She was greeted by dead flowers and starving animals. It looked like hell to Cadence. She shook her head to man up and walked in. The hut was dark and you could barely see a meter ahead. In the middle of the room there was a big, black cauldron with some sort of red stew boiling in it. Hanging on the walls were tribal masks and different exotic spices. In the corner of the room, tied to a pole, was a small, starving dog.        The door opened with creak behind Cadence. The evil enchantress walked in.   “Wh-who are you?” asked Cadence.  “I am the evil enchantress you write pitiful stories about. My name is Black Aura. What are you looking here for, bringer of love? IF YOU ARE HERE TO WASTE MY TIME GET OUT AT ONCE!” screamed Black Aura.  Cadence tried to reason with her, trying to show her the error of her ways, but she just wouldn’t listen. Cadence did something she would rarely ever do. She screamed at Black Aura and told her that if she doesn’t stop she will most definitely be defeated by love and care.        “How sappy,” said Black Aura.         “Have you ever loved?” asked Cadence.         “What did you say?” asked Black Aura.          “HAVE YOU EVER LOVED?” shouted Cadence.          It was only then that Aura remembered. Long ago, a stallion was in love with her. She was in love with him too. Black Aura remembered how well she felt when she was with him. She grew weak seeing how she hurt those village ponies for no reason. Seeing how the magic of love is much stronger than hate.         “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m sorry!” said Black Aura.   Cadence led her into the village where she presented the new Black Aura to everypony. Soon, she moved into the village and helped ponies, rather than turning them against their own friends. Cadence, even though still young, looked proudly upon Black Aura. She had managed to make friends and start spreading joy, not hate.        Back in Canterlot, Celestia was overlooking Cadence. She was following Cadence since she was born because she always saw so much potential in her. It is time, she thought to herself.        It was night time. Cadence went to bed, but surprinsingly in the morning she didn’t wake up in her bed. Cadence woke up in a strange place. She had no idea where she was. Before her was the majestic Princess Celestia. Cadence asked her why she was there. Celestia told her about how she followed her life since she was born since she can spread the magic of love without any unicorn horn.   “You have mastered the magic of love, my dear Cadence. And now, you shall become and alicorn!” said celestia  Cadence was still pretty confused but she couldn’t say anything. In a second the room filled with magic and a loud boom was heard. Cadence woke up, only to find that of her head there was a horn. It was much easier to spread love now, she just had to use a simple spell! Cadence was more excited than ever.   “I understand you excitement, Cadence, but now you are a princess. Until you will grow up you will live here, in Canterlot. When the time is right, you will get a kingdom to rule on.” Said Celestia From that moment on, Cadence lived in Canterlot and met princess Luna, her favorite princess (but don’t tell Celestia that). She learned everything there is to know about being a princess.
