It was raining outside and I was walking slowly down the road, shivering and muttering to myself. I was on the outskirts of town when I heard some-pony call,"Do you need somewhere to stay the night?!"
I turned and tried to see who said that, but only saw a silhouette.
"Huh?", I was confused: this has been the first time anypony offered me any sort of home.
"Come inside out of the storm, you must be freezing out there!", the mysterious figure said. I nodded and started galloping towards the figure. Just as I was about to reach the figure, I woke up. It was still raining and I'm surprised I've not caught hypothermia yet.
"Great! Now I can't even have shelter in a dream!" I muttered.
I sighed and stood up completely and looked around, all the land around me was filled with water, I figured today would be a good day to try and find a new campsite.
After walking hopelessly lost for upwards of an hour in the freezing rain (which had turned to snow), I finally stumbled across a town/village. It's a weird feeling walking on empty streets when you know ponies live there. But then again, it was snowing pretty hard, actually, I should buy some winter clothes. By the time I found the clothes store, called Carousel Botique , I was shivering violently, in fact I couldn't even open the door! Some pony must've heard my struggles and opened the door from the inside.
"Oh my!"she exclaimed
"T-T-Thank y-you!" I attempted to say, not hearing her comment.
"It's quite alright," a white mare exclaimed,"so, what can I do for you?"
"I'd like to buy a coat,"I said while I was still shivering. "Of course! That'd be 12 bits!"
"12 bits! I'm not sure I have that much..." I thought to myself. I took out my bag of bits and counted out 12, that only meant I had 5 to spend on food and water.
"Is something the matter, sir?", the white mare asked.
I counted out 12 bits and she gave me my coat. "Thank you, Mrs...." I said.
"My name is Rarity." she told me. "By the way, can tell me where I can get lunch?" I asked, I had no idea where anything was in this town. "Mhm, go down to the main road and take a right, you should a building called 'Sugarcube Corner'", Rarity told me. I thanked her once more and walked out, the snow had lessened up and ponies were beginning to come out on the streets. I felt out of place amidst a town of pastel coloured ponies, as opposed to me, just having a white coat, and a grey and teal mane. Plus, they were all wearing bright hats, scarfs and gloves and I just have my black coat, which was quite warm.
