Chapters Chapter 1: Equestria
"And with a Hovermyr I win!" I exclaimed after winning with my match against my friends Cj and Michael.
"You and your damn +1/+1 counters!" Exclaimed Cj.
"Yeah. I mean seriously. Those +1/+1 are op," Said Michael reclining into his chair.
"And you have ciphers," I said looking Michael dead in the eye.
"So...." Said Michael with a slight chuckle.
"Hey guys? This card is freaking me out. It has a bunch of odd looking letters," Said Cj.
Showing us the card it looked like a map of some kind of land.
"Its not mine. Michael?"
"No..."
Handing the card to me I looked at it close and I realized the card started forming tangible letters.
"To the land of equestria. To the land in war," I said as I read the card.
Then the card glowed and the map on the card become a portal growing until it swallowed the whole room and it then pulled Michael, Cj and I through it and before we realized we were somehow in a forest.
"Where the hell are we?" Asked Michael before getting up and brushing himself off.
"No idea..." Said Cj as he stepped off the ground.
Stretching I got up and pushed my hand out and something...unusual happened. When my hand was stretched out a memnite came out.
"WHOA WHOA WHOA! What the hell!?" Exclaimed Cj at the top of his voice.
"How did you?" Asked Michael.
"I have no idea. It just came out!" I exclaimed.
Identifying... No hostile source discovered. Awaiting order from wizard.
"Cool.... Ok. Memnite. Identify closest town or village." I told Memnite.
Identifying. Closest Village. Closest Village identified. Village name: Ponyville. Population:152. Distance: 57 meters southwest. Eta: 8 Minutes.
"Ok thank you Memnite. All right guys. Lets start walking," I said as I started to walk southwest.
"You think I can do that too?" Asked Cj.
"Maybe. Try what I did."
"All right," Said Cj.
Cj then held out his hand and whispered something I couldn't quite understand and from his hand a bright light shined and a Boros Battalion appeared.
Awaiting orders commander!
"Awesome. But I feel a bit drained..." Said Cj and he sat down.
"Memnite. Why is Cj tired?" I asked my creature.
Wizard Cj has used most of his mana in summoning the battalion. You wizards may recharge mana by siphoning mana off of lands. Forests for green, mountains for red, swamps for black, plains for white, and islands for blue.
"Thank you Memnite."
"Ok battalion. I want you guys to march with us in case a something may go wrong." Said Cj to his squad of soldiers.
Yes sir!
"Michael you try now," I said to Michael.
"Allright," Said Michael before he held out his hand summoned a creature. That creature being a guild mage.
Hello Master. I am ready for a command.
"My command for you is to follow me."
Yes master.
Walking southwest we finally reached the end of the forest. Taking in Memnites words of wisdom we siphoned sme mana out of the forest before contuing onto the village.
"Wait a sec. If that village if full of ponies aren't we gonna stand out?" Asked Cj stopping in his tracks.
Before we could react to his question we heard a loud BOOM coming from southwest direction.
Hostile force detected. Identified as gryphons. Ready for combat.
Sir we are ready to fight with honor!
Master I am ready for a battle!
"We better hurry," I said dashing towards the sound.
Before I could ready myself I saw what was happening. The village was halfway gone and burning. Gryphons were swooping down and attacking...people not ponies. But people with horns wings and tails.
"Hmmm...Anthro..." I said mumbling to myself.
Then Michael, Cj and I charged forward towards the village. Cj ordering his battalion to fire their arrows, Michael making the mage fire some spells and Me telling Memnite to jump high into the air slicing down gryphons. After seemingly a easy battle a dragon the size of skyscraper appeared from the sky smiting all of our creatures at once.
"How can we combat that?!" Michael exclaimed.
"Guys... Give me your mana." I said calmly.
"Why?! What difference will it make?!" CJ Exclaimed at the top of his voice.
"Blightsteel," I said Calmly.
Realizing what I meant Cj and Michael gave out an exasperated sigh.
"For once I'm glad you have that Creature," Said Michael before joining hands with me and CJ.
As they poured their mana into me our eyes glowed a pure white right before dispersing and both of them were huffing for air.
"I'm...spent," Said Cj before passing out.
"Michael. Get Cj to the town. I'll handle the dragon. I've always wanted to say that," I said as I let out my hand and yelled "Blightsteel colossus!"
Then before me appeared a giant colossus with a blunt mace for one hand and the other being a claw with long sharp fingers. With a furnace door being its eyes and a arch going over its head. It roared at the dragon making the dragon flinching at just the sheer sight of it. Then the colossus charged forward hitting the dragon over the head with its blunt arms and then firing a beam out of the other hand. Making the dragon stumble back. Then the colossus charged at it knocking the dragon down onto its back and grabbing the dragons neck with his hand awaiting orders from its master.
"Finish it!"
The colossus then raised it blunt arm over its head and whacked the dragons head so hard it caused the dragons neck to create a loud SNAP! The colossus then disappeared in a aurora of energy and finally exhausted I collapsed onto the ground. Face first.
My eyes finally opened...but they were being flooded with light. I reached out my arm to prevent the light but i was greeted by a pink fluff ball.
"Pinkie! Your gonna choke the man!" Exclaim a southern accented voice.
"For once i agree with Applejack. Pinkie i would get your chest of the man," Said a jersey like voice.
All i could was let out a muffled "Hmmm?"
Getting off of me the girl had a yellow tank top with jean shorts. Oddly her hair was nothing more then a giant pink mess and somehow her eyes were pink as well. I looked over at the other two in the room. A blonde southern sounding girl had a 10 gallon hat with jean shorts and a orange shirt. The last one had purple hair going down one side of her head. She was wearing black jeans with a nice white dress shirt with... A horn coming out of her forehead. I finally got out of the bed when I realized all I had were my pure red boxers on. And before they could react I leapt back into the bed.
"Oh ya... Sorry bout that but we had to strip you down to your boxers so you wouldn't heat up," Said the one called Applejack. "Although it wasn't my idea. Right Rarity?"
"Well..... Don't forget Pinkies the one who did the stripping."
"So what? At least I wasn't staring like Rarity."
"Um....Where are my friends?" I asked the three bickering girls.
"They're out helping repair ponyville," Said Applejack.
"Oh yes. Your clothes were just so simply damaged to the point where they were unrepairable that I had to make you a new outfit. I think its just ravishing truly." Said Rarity before reaching into a dresser and pulling out a quite snazzy outfit I must say.
It had a black under shirt. Black boots and jeans. And a red flora pattern over shirt.
"Thx. I had better go then," I said as I left the house was being nursed in.
"I gotta say. He is an attractive one," Said Rarity as she let out a long sigh.
"Even though he's an alien?" Asked Applejack.
"That only makes him more exotic. Wait wheres pinkie?"
"Hey guys! Im up!" I yelled to Cj and Michael who were moving rubble over to a even larger pile of it,
"Hey. You have golems don't you? Try making a golem out of the rubble and move it away," Said Cj holding a rather large rock in his hands.
"Yeah. You got some right?" Asked Michael moving a bunch of scrap metal.
"Sure."
I then held out my hand and pure mana reached out and grasped the rubble with the energy and from the metal and stone formed a razor golem and a lodestone golem.
Awaiting command from Wizard.
"I want you guys to move to a place where the metal and stone can be dumped without it hurting anyone or the environment.
Processing....Location found. Moving to location.
"=Hey.. How come we know so much of this magic? We just got it." Asked Cj. He was always the thinker in our group
"Dude i wish i knew. But fuck it. We're in a colorful pastel universe modeled after my little pony" I said watching the golems
"Of all the places.. It couldnt be like attack on titan or Tokyo ghoul. No! Fucking anthromorphic ponies!" Screamed Micheal. "At least i got magic"
"Look on the bright side. Now Cj can clop"
"Oh fuck you man!" Cj exclaimed as a human soldier of his grabbed some rubble taking it off to wherever the golems had moved to.
"Note to self hook Cj up with Rainbow dash"
Speaking of the most likely flamboyant tomboy it seemed she got into a flying race with one of Cjs angels. Cause fuck Angels apparently.
"Hey you guys.. feeling drained?" I asked my friends as i yawned
"Yeah.. I feel kinda lightheaded.. Must be running low on mana. How do we get more?"
Before i could respond Micheal held his hand up and blue mana seemed to seep out of the fountain near us. The energy coiled around his hand before dissapearing into his fair skin.
"Huh."
Next was Cj. He held his hand up and white mana coming from the plain just outside the small rural town seeped into him. His tired expression perked up slightly as more and more of this life giving energy seeped into him
"Well fuck you guys. I dont need colors"
I held my hand up absorbing green mana from the nearby forest. I chuckled watching the energy dance through my fingers. Using this energy
"If you guys need energy just sap some out of these guys. Ill start making more golems in case something else pops up"
Inhaling as my myrs fill me with energy i conjure up two hovermyrs that instantly fly upwards patrolling the skys. Its odd. I know where these artifact creatures are at all given times. Its cool to know you can snap your fingers and you can make a army.
"Gotcha" Said Micheal and CJ at the same time. Sure they didn't always get along but they're alot more alike then they'd like to admit.
However my myrs only got about a few meters in the air before they spontaneously explode.
"WHAT THE?!"
My friends and I quickly turn around to see a tall blue mare with a white like mane and purple coat with stars upon it standing before us. Behind her is a another girl with red hair and yellow streaks through it. She had a leather jacket with a purple top underneath it. She also wore a orange skirt.
"The great and powerful Trixie and her assistant Sunset shimmer will eliminate you ALIENS."
"Oh crap...."
Chapter 3: Trixie and Shimmer
"Who the hell are you?" I asked the one who just blasted away my myrs like they were trash. Well technically they were trash but i digress
"I am the great and powerful.."
"Oh SHUSH it Trixie. We're here to eliminate these aliens and go. Remember?"
"Oh yes. The great and powerul Trixie agrees assistant."
Getting back up in I managed to finally get my footing but was easily blasted back down in an instant.
"These are the ones who killed that dragon? Pathetic," Said Shimmer who seemed to have a cold malice within her voice
Getting up Michael casted Hover barrier. Cutting off Trixie and shimmer from our sight.
"That barriers only gonna hold for a little while. What do we do?" Asked Michael.
"Find a way to stop them. How I don't know," Said Cj
"But we're not killing them. Do either of you have some way to stop them without killing them?" I asked.
"Yeah...but it might not kill them. It might. I don't know," Said Michael.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Cancel. It counters a spell. Simple enough really. But I have to hit them the second they cast a spell."
"So we have to time this just right."
"Yeah we do.. This will be harder then Cj losing his virginity" Said Micheal chuckling
"GOD DAMN IT!!" Yelled Cj groaning
Micheal and I chuckle lightly as the barrier takes a blast from the two renegade mages. Finally with another blast the barrier shatters and the two mares smirk thinking they won. Shimmer's horn shines lightly but before any magic could be cast Micheal casts the spell Cancel
"Cancel!" The blue magic zaps at shimmer horn the magic dissipating. I quickly take this chance and i summon myr superion
"Lightning greaves!" I exclaim as the greaves come into existence. The greave leap upon Superion. "Attack!"
The superion grunts mechanically amd charges at trixie. Its fist lifts upwards and punch's her in the gut. Trixie coughs loudly as she is flung across the ground.
"Now what did we learn here?"
With Trixie knocked out and Shimmer shivering out of fear she falls on her rump
"Never mess with aliens?" Asked CJ
"Yeah. We always have cool shit."
The myr superion dissapear's along with the lightning greaves and i sigh exhausted from profuse mana consumption and use. Michael sits down with a grunt while Cj uses the enchantment arrest on both Mares.
"Who's the cops here?"
Before anyone could answer the question several large ponies descended down by us with gold spartan like armor. Their golden spears raised and pointed at us. Their spears slightly crackle with magic and the guards all carry a scowl upon their faces. I sigh as the glass around us forms a large 7 foot tall golem. The golem looks shaky and sloppy evident from my low mana. Cj summons up several human soldiers each armed with swords and hammers. While Micheal summons up a few dimir rogues with daggers at the ready.
"HEY WAIT!"
The purple skinned unicorn came galloping towards the guards. Her five friends close behind.
"These three helped us! Sure they were a little.. Violent but they did it to defend themselves!"
The other give mares nod in agreement. Cj points to the pink mare and I noticed her hair wasn't puffy and curly but instead straight and elegant. The guards all scowl at us but slowly lower their spears when they see the sincere face upon the six mare's faces. They all shoot a glare at our direction before looking to the sky. I look up and see a large chariot descending town towards us. Once the chariot lands we see two very tall figures step out. Both of them at least 6'6. The first one i see is a white skinned woman with elegant hair like a sunrise. She stands most likely at 7'0. While a different women steps out beside her with her skin and mane reminding you of a starry sky. She stand at 6'0 a full foot under the other figure
"So.. you three are the aliens..." The darker figure says. Then I realized something. She has both wings and a horn. Along with the other figure.
Surprisingly my golem doesn't enter combat stance. Meaning she means no harm. But i keep it active just in case.
"Please.. Dispell your familiars." The lighter figure says. Cj hesitantly but surely waves his hand in one direction and his soldiers dissapear into the Aether. Sighing my golem falls to shards of glass decorating the ground. My two surviving hovermyrs land down to the ground picking up the glass and carrying it away. Michael bites his lip as the rogues dissapear promptly.
"Thank you for trusting us." The taller lighter figure says
"Oh we don't trust you. But we have no other decision in this situation." Say's Michael quickly which causes Cj to stifle a laugh as i try to hold back a smile. Key word there. TRY.
The darker figure smiles lightly at our honesty.
"I am Princess Celestia. Co-ruler of Equestria. This is my sister. Luna."
The figure named Luna smiles lightly at us as if welcoming our presence.
"Cj, Michael, Marcus." I said Introducing Cj Michael and myself.
I then noticed Trixie slowly starting to stir and slightly panic when she see's the shackles and the inability to use her magic .
"I know we're just aliens and all but don't punish these two too hard. They simply panicked. But still give them what you think is best."
Luna seemed suprised at my words while Celestia smiled and nodded. With a swift hand gesture the two renegade mare's are put inside the carriage and said carriage lifts away to the sky. Good thing no one noticed a Hovermyr sticking around the carriage.
"Now then. Lets talk Gentlecolts." Said Celestia smiling lightly.
What a day. First getting attacked by women and then the monarchs show up after the fight. I love this world already.
