The Escape of FireShine

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Twilight Sparkle was jittery, wondering if she was doing the right thing. Her horn started to shimmer, and POP! She teleported straight into Princess Celestia's castle, right behind the guards. She began panting and worrying that is the princess finds out what she's doing, she'll be dead meat. She began galloping quietly away from the guards and turned a few corners until she came to a dungeon area of the castle that Twilight had never seen before. There were many doors, but one of them was large. It was made of stone, so Twilight used her X-Ray vision spell to take a peek through the stone. The room had no furniture, it was very cramped up and was dull and dark. Twiight saw Fireshine sleeping on this small rock bed that appeared quite uncomfortable. Twilight was extremely surprised. Why would Princess Celestia do this? Twilight knew what she had to do.  While sweating miserably, Twilight's horn glowed a bit. Then more. Then more. Then more. Until it was a giant purple ball, it exploded, breaking the stone walls and leaving a huge hole into the outside world. FireShine woke up instantly. At first she looked innocently surprised, but then her eyes narrowed and her frown turned into a smirk.

"Well, well, well. Isn't it Twilight Sparkle. What in the world are you doing?" FireShine knew she was being set free, but wanted a clarification. Her voice was surprisingly normal. Not at all demonic like Twilight expected.

"I'm-I'm setting you free," Twilight said. "I don't know what horrible things you did, but nopony deserves to be locked up in here their whole life."

FireShine smirked and chuckled, "Twilight Sparkle, you're making a big mistake!" And with that said, FireShine soared away into the night sky. Twilight gulped. Hopefully she was doing the right thing.
