1: The accident. An introduction.
"You're joking, right Applebloom?" Rainbow Dash said, chuckling. "No, it's a fantastic idea! Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, AND Pinkie Pie got their cutie marks because of a sonic rainboom. Just do one over the orchard, it'll work, I promise!"
The air was cold with winter, and the 3 little fillie's faces were flushed bright red, half from the cold, and half from pleading with Rainbow Dash. The snow had stopped, and it was one of the only blizzard-free times in the harsh winter Air.
Rainbow Dash's prideful mindset broke through the responsible one. She knew it was the perfect chance for a chance to show off to all of ponyville her awe inspiring flying skills! Again. "Fine, kid. I'll do it once, only once. For you." As Scootaloo turned back to the three, giddy with excitedness, Rainbow Dash shot up into the air, slicing the cold wind with her body, a smug look on her face.
All she had to do was shoot downwards with all of her power focused onto her speed, and boom. She began to speed up as she catapulted down, her lips beginning to become tight against her cheeckbones. She closed her eyes, tears bieng dragged out by the wind! She opened her eyes once again as she descended to the halfway point. She was just about at the right speed- WOOSH!
"Huh?" She barely managed. A small bird collided with her wing. Nothing bad, it just slighty slowed her down.
"Oh no . . . " She barely said again- she was not going to pull of the rainboom, and she was about to hit the ground, at at least 250 miiles an hour.
"Horsefeathers!" She said, trying to pull up and control her now flailing body, however, she couldnt because of her crooked feathers, mangled by the collision with the bird. She desperatlely looked around for a pile of snow, something not as hard as a tree or a rock.
"Yes!" She said, again struggling to speak. She saw a small snow hill that was perfect. She steered and aimed directly for it. But she saw something- the snow shimmered. A large stallion walked out, Big Mac. "Dang plows, gonna get rusty. "Oh bu-" She blacked out as her body barreled into the plow.
