Dark things can change a Pony

After Rumble was done praying, he pick up his luggage and started walking to a familiar place that he hadn't been there for a long time, Cheerilee's school. His watch says 4:18 PM, he remembered correctly that school usually ends at 3:30, but the schedule could change over the years. But he wanted to see his favorite teacher first after so long.

When he reached his destination, he didn't see fillies and colts outside the school house and didn't hear any from the inside, so it was assume school is over, but he hope Cheerilee is still inside. Rumble walk up the front and when he was so close to it, the door open from the inside, from a pegasus mare who was in some kind of hurry.

"Bye Cheerilee, see you at the par-!" The pony yell partially because she flew out of the school so fast, she bump into Rumble, making them both crash to the ground, with Rumble under the mystery mare.

The first thing Rumble saw after the crash was something orange and purple. He knows he knew this mare before, but thanks to the collision, he can't think much of who it is. He got an answer when another mare, this time entirely purple, came out of the school house,

"Scootaloo, are you Okay!?" Cried the purple mare with a worried voice.

"Scootaloo, oh yeah now I remember," Rumble thought, then realization hit him like a ton of bricks, he was under a mare he knew very much.

Scootaloo stand up to her knees while rubbing her head."Yeah, I'm fine Cheerilee,  I just hit this damn colt."She said with an annoyed voice.

Cheerilee look at the colt who was under Scootaloo and was shock to see who it was."Scootaloo, you might want to look closely at the colt."She suggested.

Scootaloo wonder why and look at the colt, and boy was her shock face was priceless."RUMBLE!?"

"Hey Scootaloo,"Rumble greeted."no need to yell."He criticize rudely.

Scootaloo's eyes narrowed at him and crosses her arms."I can see you haven't change since."

"Scootaloo behave."Cheerilee said as she pick up one of Rumble's luggage while the two Pegasi got up from the ground.

Rumble look at Scootaloo, he saw that she has changed a lot over the years, she was about 4 inches shorter than him ,her hair is long and wild and she finally have her cutie mark, it was a wheel of a scooter with a pair wings sprouting from the sides

The purple teacher give Rumble his luggage after he dusted off dust of him."Thank you Ms. Cheerilee."Rumble said kindly to her.

Cheerilee giggle."Just 'Cheerilee',okay Rumble?"She said then gave him a big crushing hug."I can't believe you actually came."

"Well I didn't want to turn down your invitation, plus I haven't seen you after so long." Rumble said to her as he return the hug.

Cheerilee let go of him and got a good look at him."Maybe too long."She suggested."Look at your self, your almost tall as Big Mac and he's older than you."

Rumble chuckled, showing some of his old self to her."Speaking of which, congratulations of your marriage."

"Why thank you Rumble."Cheerilee said."So where are you staying until the wedding is over?"She asked.

"I got enough bits to stay at a hotel until then."Rumble replied.

"Are you sure?" Cheerilee asked with worry."I mean the Apple family have a guest room,you can stay there until then."She suggested to grey Pegasus.

"Thank you for the offer, but I don't want to be a bother."He said.

"Okay Rumble,but if you need anything, me and the Apple family will be here for you."She said with worry in her voice.

Rumble nob."So when is the get together?"

"Tomorrow,you see there."Cheerilee replied.

Rumble nob and starts to leave,until a certain orange Pegasus block his path."What do you want Scootaloo?"

"I thought I'd show around town,"She replied."a lot of things had change since you moved away."

"I can take care of myself." Rumble said as he pass her, but Scootaloo started to follow him.

"If you don't let me,I'll tell everypony that your back."She threatened

Rumble stop and sigh."Fine."He said as he open one of his luggage.

"What are you doing?"Scootaloo asked.

The grey Pegasus didn't answer yet, he put on a face mask that covers his mouth and nose."I don't want to be known just yet until the get together and other reasons."He replied.

"Let me guess,"Scootaloo started.

"Pinkie Pie."The two Pegasi both said unison, that got Scootaloo to giggle and Rumble to smile a little, but she didn't see it thanks to the face mask.

Scootaloo took her scooter, which is a big new one that is connected to a wagon, by the fence, she jump on .

"Hope on."She said to Rumble.

Rumble put his luggage on the wagon, he went to the back of Scootaloo and hold on tight onto her as Scootaloo rapidly flap her wings that instantly propel them at a fast speed.

"So where you want to see first?"Scootaloo asked

"I haven't eaten since I came here,"Rumble replied."let's go see how Sugar Cube Corner doing."

The Sugar Cube Corner hasn't change a bit over the years.

When they got inside the famous bakery of Ponyville, they were greeted by a hyper active pinkie earth pony.

"Hey Scootaloo, are you ready for the party at Sweet Apple Acres tommorow?"Pinkie Pie asked as she saw the organge pegasus, then she turn her attention to a pegasus she never saw before and began to ask a ton of questions

"A new pony in town ! I can tell that your new here because I know everyone here.So where are you from?When's your birthday?And what's your name,so I can present you to the party I'm going to host for you?

Scootaloo was going to stop her, but didn't have the chance to.

"Oh wait,"Pinkie said."Let me guess."She started looking at him very closely." Masquerade?Silent Black?Cool Mask?"

"PINKIE!!!"Scootaloo scream to get the hyper pink pony's attention.

"Yes Scoots?"Pinkie asked, not mad of being yelled at.

"Pinkie,he's not new here."Scootaloo said.

"Then how come I've never seen him before?"Pinkie asked.

"Because he lived here before, he's just visiting here for a couple of months."Scootaloo replied.

"Oh,"Pinkie said."then I'm not going to give you a 'Welcome to Ponyville Party',instead I'm going to give you a 'Welcome Back to Ponyville Party!!!!"She screamed at the last part.

Rumble knew this would happen, but ignored it."I'll have a cupcake."He said as he hand out a bit.

"Okey dokey lokey."She said as she took the bit and give him a cupcake.

"By the way,"Rumble began."I don't want a party."

"What !?"Pinkie exclaimed in surprise."Why not?"

"Because if you give me a party,"Rumble began."I will not be your friend."He threaten.

Pinkie have a sad face on, but quickly disappears with a smile replacing it."Okey dokey lokey."She said happily as she have gave Rumble a hug."I got a new friends, that's all that counts."She exclaim in happiness.

Rumble rolled his eyes when he got out of the hug and left the bakery.

Scootaloo glared at him, but not much."Did you have to do that?"

"I came here for the wedding, not to hang out with old friends."Rumble answered as he started eating his cupcake.
