All fillies have their dreams. To be a doctor, to be an author, to be a painter. Or perhaps to be the best of the best, who knows what they dream. Some dream big, bigger than the Equestrian sky and to conquer that same sky. But many dream small, like to be a gardener like their mother, or a business man like their father. A few dreamed smaller… Perhaps to learn ability they wish to possess. Most little fillies just know how to do that little ability since they were a month old or so. But some never find that ability. Now Scootaloo was a nice young filly, healthy and all good. In her body pounded a heart of courage and determination. That beat of her heart reminded her that her every breathing second she lived was filled with the chance to go and take over what she could. But her lavender eyes had a different view to her heart. Like her heart, her eyes were big, big with a dream she wished to achieve. That one dream was to be like one of those ponies, those ponies who the world admired… Like Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash was her idol, her star, her living dream. Seeing her swish and sway her way through the sky, painting a colourful rainbow of 7 colours to light the blue canvas. Every time Scootaloo sat on the grass and watched her, the wider her eyes grew. She wanted to be her so bad… She wanted to be Rainbow Dash. She wanted to be that cyan pony with the amazing rainbow mane and tail and that magnificent pair of wings… That pair of wings that can actually get the equine off the ground. The orange coated pegasus only wished to fly, to soar the sky. She wished to paint the sky with her colours, to feel the wind… To be a normal pegasus. But, all this time, she couldn’t fly… Maybe never… “Not just yet, Scoot!” A familiar god-like voice burst with enthusiasm, her magenta eyes with glee as she saw the pair of orange wings starting to flap. “Harder, you can do it!” Scootaloo looked at her idol, smiling and cheering her on. She was right. She could do it. Her wings flapped harder, creating a small change in the wing as the air trotted through her feathers. “I-I can?” Scootaloo whispered, looking at Rainbow. Her cyan head nodded, creating a little rainbow over her head, only one Scootaloo can see. Scootaloo grinned, and flapped harder each swish she did.
