The season bringer

Plumrose woke to a glorious spring day. She was proud of herself for bringing it to the world. Just as Celestia loved her day and Luna her night, plumrose loved her seasons she also designed dresses and mentored rarity. As she was looking out her window when she heard a faint knock on the door. “Come in” she called. She smiled as she saw the handsome colt come through the door. His name was raincloud, he was a unicorn with a dark blue coat and a white mane. He was her coltfriend.

  “Hey beautiful, how’s your morning so far?” he asked

“I just woke up.” she confessed. Raincloud as well as being her coltfriend was her personal guard, so they never had to be apart.

  “I was wondering what you were doing tonight.”

  “Oh nothing really” said plumrose

  “great because I have something really special planed for tonight.”

  “OK, see you around the castle.” As raincloud left the room she let out a happy sigh. She and raincloud had been dating for a few years and he was the best, most romantic coltfriend ever. She stood up, put on her horseshoes and crown and left her room to begin the day’s work with her two sisters.

Well, thought plumrose as she walked to the castle gardens to meet raincloud for their date today could have gone worse. Court was boring as usual, and of course, at lunch blueblood was a royal pain! But time should get better with raincloud to herself for the evening. Then she saw him standing under a big tree waiting for her. “BOO!!”

   she shouted as she sneaked up behind him. “AHHHHHH!!!!” he shouted as he jumped almost a foot in the air.

  “Don’t do that, you scared me!”

  “I could tell by the way you jumped in the air.”

  “Well you certainly got me” he said smiling slightly. His horn glowed blue and soft music started playing.

  “May I have this dance?” he asks. She blushed and said

  “sure.” As they danced she thought about how their relationship. One day a long time ago she went to a fancy welcome party for a new guard. She was sitting on her throne next to Celestia, (She still missed her sister Luna but she knew that the banishment was necessary). Then trumpets blew and the big throne room doors opened. A dark blue unicorn with a short white mane and tale came into the room. She thought he was cute but she knew he was off limits because next to him was a pretty white Pegasus with a golden mane walking next to him. And  she knew she couldn’t be in a relationship because of her responsibility as being a princess of equestria, and with the rule was a diarchy (two rulers) and it was more work for both her and her sister because normally when Luna was there it was a triarchy (three rulers). But after her younger sister returned from the moon and recovered from the nightmare that possessed her the equestrian rule had been much more balanced. She shook her head, and realized that raincloud was saying something.

  “Sorry,” she said “I just kinda zoned out for a minute, what where you saying?”

  “Oh, nothing much but I have something really important to ask you.” Before she knew what happened raincloud knelt down and summoned a diamond horn ring

“plumrose,” he said “we have been dating for about 3 years now and I’ve realized that you’re the only mare I could ever love and I think it’s time to bring our relationship to a new level, so I wanted to ask, will you marry me plumrose?” she looked down on the handsome romantic colt she was lucky enough to be dating and loved with all her heart, what would she say?

“Yes” said plumrose.

“Yes?” raincloud asked.

“Yes!” they both shouted in unison jumping up and down.

The next night

After the events of the day plumrose called a meeting with her two sisters. “Luna, celestia, I have something very important, like mind blowing, life changing, if I don’t get it out at this minuet I’ll explode important!” said plumrose at pinkie pie like speed.

“What is thy problem sister we would like to help in any way we can” said Luna in her old equestrian accent.

“Yes plumrose, spill it.” Said Celestia in her more laid back kind of manner she displayed in private.

“Okay I’ll tell you,” said plumrose with a girlish giggle.

“So you both know how I’m dating raincloud,” they both nodded “well last night I went on a date with him and…….. He asked me to marry him!” they both stared at her, shocked.

Celestia was the first to speak.

“And you answered……….?”

“Well that should be obvious, I said yes.” Then out of nowhere they both jumped on her screaming “CONGRATULATIONS!” then Luna stood up and regained her posture.

“Well sister, when will you and thy fiance’ hold the royal wedding?”

“Well I haven’t seen raincloud since he asked me to marry him so we haven’t had much time to talk about it.” Said plumrose

“well I have a letter to send to twilight so can we cut this meeting short?” asked Celestia

“sure I have nothing else to say.” Said plumrose. When Celestia got to her room she pulled out parchment, ink, and quill and started to wright her letter

Dear twilight,

I am in need of your wedding planning skills. My sister plumrose has just informed me that she and the royal guard raincloud are going to get married. The assignments for you and your friends are still the same from princess mi amore cadenza’s wedding. In this letter I include 7 invitations for you, your friends, and spike.

“I hope you’re okay with this sister.” she whispered to herself as she sent the letter to her student. She knew twilight and her friends would be up to the task, but would her sister be up to the task of marriage, of a family? Celestia didn’t know.
