This story takes place in the old arma II map of dayZ

Jake joins the army at the wrong time just as he finishes basic training/sear school a war starts between the US and Russia when she charges into battle he is shot in the chest and he wakes up in a medical tent with other wounded solders…
Including a cyan mare with a several gunshot wounds in the chest as he was drifting back to sleep he was told they were going home or that's what they had planed…

Hay sam how far to the checkpoint? Not to far... I wish this damn rain would let up Hasher got the drone? Ya I got the done...

Guys hold up. I said quietly. What jake? Sam said. You hear that I could have s- I was cut of by three loud bangs and a grate amount of Pain around my chest. I looked at the my chest to find three bullet holes in my vest as blood starts to poor out of them. I fell down to the ground. Jake! No! Sam took a firm grip of her m16 and unleashed hell on the Russian solder that had shot me in the chest. My hearing faded as I fell unconscious. HASHER CALL FOR A HELI NOW HE'S BLEEDING OUT! It's on it's way I can't make it fly faster! Well try! Sam held me in her arms as I bleed out on her uniform she had already bandaged me and blood was seeping threw them already the sound of the loud engines of the heli where not to far away Hasher and Sam grabbed my arms and lifted them over there shoulders and dragged me into the open field as the helicopter landed we loaded up and took off as fast as possible. HOW BADS THE WOUND! The pilot yelled over the roaring machine. REAL BAD! Hasher yelled. I fell unconscious

-------------TWO HOURS LATER--------------

I open my eyes and check my suroundings i try to sit up in a upright position but the pain keept me from doing so i layed back in the unconftortable army green cot. "well well well looks like someones up" a female voice said. Shut-up hasher... where are we. we are in outpost-3 and your going home. She walked out of the tent i noticed a mare on a cot across the tent from me she had suffered the same wound as me but only two bullet holes I she was awake and fully aware of me here but she didnt talk. She looked at me with regret and pain in her eyes. First wound? i asked she nodded. are you going home aswell? she nodded. Hasher walked in the door, come on u guys get up its time to go meet me outside by the lerroy in five minutes. "ok" i said standing up slowly. she walked back out and we both heard the desiel truck. I limped over to the cyan mare and saw her leg was broken aswell. You poor thing, she seems to have fell asleep. I lifted the severely wounded mare and walked out the truck sam and hasher and sam were wateing for us out outside. They helped us into the truck i set the mare next to me and she leaned on to my sholder in her sleep

as s we drove down the road i heard the loud engins of a huyes flying overhead and gunshot roaring in the distence.

I stuck my head out the back flap of the lerroy to see the helicopter with the guns on the sides maned up mostlikely going into battle i pulled my head back into the truck and sighed thinking about how many ponys are dieing on the battle field right now
