Crops dying. Earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, you name it, happening on their own. Countless lives lost every day.

No one expected it to happen. It wasn't even supposed to happen. It was supposed to be an astronomical phenomenon. Whatever happened, all we know is this- an asteroid was supposed to hit the moon. It was supposed to be a minor collision, nothing more. But something must have went horribly wrong. The moon has been brought closer to Equestria. It instantly reacted with Luna's and even Celestia's magic, incapitating them for who knows how long. That leaves me. I not only have to rule the entire nation, but also learn how to survive myself, my family, and my friends. We don't know what the future will bring us. Our daily goal is to live until tomorrow. All life as we knew it has changed.
