Long before becoming Captain of the Canterlot Royal Guard, Shining Armor and four other friends formed a boy band known as 'S.A.R.G.' (pronounced 'Sarge'). Many years passed as the quintet performed across Equestria, wooing adoring fans with their juvenile charm and stage presence, inspiring young ponies to dance and sing their tails off.
