"She's just to fast!" Cried Twilight as she unsuccessfully tried to grab Flutterbat with her magic. Flutterbat just chuckled. After being turned into a predator, there wasn't much to fear about these little ponies. She had powerful wings, super hearing, and fast reflexes. Not to mention echolocation. Her only question was 'What do they want?' They were chasing her for such a long time without giving up.      While the mane 5 (plus Spike) failed each time, Flutterbat paused for breaks to eat her apples. Delicious they were. The only food to keep her alive. Other fruit tasted nasty. These apples in Sweet Apple Acres were the best. She swooped down one more time, just as Rainbow tried to grab her. She just wanted her peace and apples. Was that too much to ask? No...the ponies wanted to take her away from her apples!      After half an hour passed, the foolish ponies gave up. There was just no way to capture Flutterbat to turn her back to normal. "It's okay," Applejack said, placing a hoof on a sobbing Pinkie Pie. "We'll try again tomorrow."      Pinkie's wall burst again as a fountain of tears came gushing out. She pulled a handkerchief out of nowhere and blew into it. "But what if we don't! What if she remains a bat forever? What if-"      Rainbow Dash groaned. "Applejack said we will try again tomorrow. We can fix it." The ponies walked through the ruined orchard, dying leaves falling around them. The sky was dark, This was Flutterbat's territory now. The bat pony let out one more threatening hiss before something orange and fuzzy smacked her in the face.      "Hiss?" That hurt.      It was the orange pony! The one who was the roughest with her. Was it because she needed apples to survive? That wasn't fair. "We already threw something at you, now shoo! Go take the stupid peach consarnit before I take out my gun!"      Peach? Was is this so called 'Peach'? She flew down to the grown and sniffed the fuzzy fruit. It didn't smell as tantalizing as an apple. But it looked close to one. Could it be a cousin? A long snake tongue wrapped around the fruit, slowly savoring the taste. Not bad. And that was only the outside! What could the inside be like? Biting down, flavor exploded in her mouth. The tanginess, the tropical smell, the sweetness...it was so delicious. Only one word in her mind: Yum!      She flapped her wings and took off into the night, determined to find more of these...peaches. Since Flutterbat is still part pony, she could scan the fields. Aww, there are only apple trees. I need more of them!      That orange pony, surely she must have some peaches! Yes...peaches would be better than apples. Her predatory instinct took over, begging for it's diet of apples. Shrugging it off, she flew to a brightly lit house. It nearly blinded her crimson eyes as she wrapped a bat wing around her eyes. "Hiss!" She spat, trying to drive the light away. One does not simply drive light away as she alerted the ponies inside of her presence.      Silently cursing in bat, the door suddenly opened on her. She hissed one more time, before a magenta grip held her. What sorcery is this? Where are the peaches? This purple winged unicorn walked up to her, curiosity gleaming in her eyes. "We finally caught you, thanks to Applejack and her peach."      A blush appeared on the farm pony. "Aww shucks, it was nothing. Ah' found a peach laying around. So ah' threw it."      Flutterbat hissed once more, smelling Applejack for peaches. She wanted it right now! "Use the spell now Twilight!" Rainbow yelled, startling the alicorn. "We're going to miss this chance!"      "Oh, what? Yeah, let me get this show on the road." Her purple horn glowed magenta as the color picked up the confused Flutterbat. What is even happening? The glow became so bright it enveloped the room. "I think it's working!" Twilight said when Flutterbat was carried into the air, her messy pink mane billowing around.      BOOM! A flash of light and the room was silent. A fog covered the bat/pony, preventing anyone from seeing if the spell worked. A cough was heard. Pinkie whispered. "Did it work? Is she-"      "HIIIIISSSS!" The extremely large hiss caused the mares to jump five feet into the air. Below them was Flutterbat rampaging. She crashed into the walls and furniture, trying to find an exit.      "Applejack!" The cyan pegasus yelled. "Do something!" The earth pony couldn't kick Flutterbat; she was her friend. Her eyes rested on a counter, where ten peaches lay. Applejack was really going to have to talk to Applebloom about bringing home peaches. Only apples were allowed. One peach landed directly into the hybrid's mouth and she gulped it up.      Flutterbat slowed down, and began to stalk Applejack. She could see the hybrid, but the farmer couldn't help that a bead of sweat fell down her forehead. Applejack backed up into a counter and threw a peach. Flutterbat dove after the peach, gnawing on it furiously. "G-guys! Ah' thing ol' Fluttershy wants some peaches."      "Great idea." The alicorn called from the other side of the room. "Her pony instinct will battle the predator instinct! The predator side wants apples, but the other side wants peaches. If the pony side wins, Fluttershy will go back to normal. Applejack, you are a genius!"      "A-Ah' am? Then yee-haw! Let's get this party started!"      "That's what I always say." Pinkie interjected, before an angry stare shut her mouth. "What?" The mane five and Spike threw peaches at Flutterbat, as she gobbled them up. The more she consumed, the more she looked like her original self. The bat wings turned into pegasus wings, her fur grew a shade lighter, her red eyes became blue, and her bat cutie mark turned into her butterfly one.      "What happened? I had a terrible dream that I became a bat pony thing." Fluttershy shook her head, driving off any apple/peach urges.      "You did!" Pinkie sang, hopping around the shy pegasus.      "But did I suck anypony's blood?"      "No, but first you started eating all the apples in Sweet Apple Acres, and then being obsessed with peaches. It's weird, huh?"      Fluttershy laughed nervously as her fangs shrank back into her mouth. "Yeah...listen...can I go back to my cottage, it's been a long night for me."      "Of course you can, you deserve it." Twilight said assuredly.      "Twilight, can I talk to you?" Fluttershy knocked on the library's door. She came in, where the alicorn was busy eating a peach. "I have a problem."      Twilight put down the peach. "What's wrong? Are you still part bat?"      "Not exactly. You see...I still have these urges..."      "Peaches?"      "Yes!" The pegasus squeaked, covering her eyes. A peach was tossed to her.      "This fruit is what changed you back. You can gladly have it." The two shared a laugh before Twilight wrote a letter to Princess Celestia about what she learned. Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that peaches are the best fruit, and can help anypony in need. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle //-------------------------------------------------------// Smartypants and Mrs. Peach the Peachy Peach Fight Over Big Mac's Heart [Tags: Smartypants, Peach, Everyone, Mortal Combat] //-------------------------------------------------------// Smartypants and Mrs. Peach the Peachy Peach Fight Over Big Mac's Heart [Tags: Smartypants, Peach, Everyone, Mortal Combat]      Three days. Three days is how long it's been since my lover brought home someone new. A fruit. Not just any fruit; a peach. How could he do this? How could my sweet Macintosh hold on to something else dear? Has he forgotten about me? Smartypants? The doll he loved more than anything?      It all started after a recent tea party, three days to be exact. Big Mac left for a bit. I didn't fret; I knew he would be back soon. But what was really surprising was that Big Mac had a peach in his red hoof. What would he want with the fuzzy fruit? Why would he choose a peach over an apple? He did live on an apple farm. At first, I thought he would eat it. Most logical choice, am I right?      Nope! He kept it! In fact, he stared hanging out with it instead of me. He played with me less and less, and with the peach (I think he calls it Ms. Peach the Peachy Peach) more and more. Tea parties, swings, dancing, all without me. What does that stupid peach have that I don't? I'm fuzzy, have buttons, have a mane, wears clothes, and not to mention having a high level of intelligence. Ms. Peach is just... fuzzy. Fuzzy and orange. Not special at all.      Why couldn't he just eat the peach?! I was with him first! Hah, what if I ate the peach first? Big Mac would be too heartbroken to get a new one. I licked my lips. Get ready for some peachiness.      I trotted over to where Ms. Peach the Peachy Peach lay. Such a ridiculous long name. Too bad I will eat her soon. My mis-matched button eyes met her thick plump skin, just begging to be eaten. "You look very scrumptious." I said, taking in the tropical smell. It was so hard not to pounce on her right this very second.      "Umm...thanks?" Ms. Peach said. She would never know what was coming. I circled around her, slowly and quietly like a shark. And I was to strike. The velvet padding on my hooves muffled my hoof steps as my tongue hung out. Drool dripped onto the floor, making it slippery. "It would be a shame if something happened..."      Ms. Peach tried to roll away before I held her sides. Man, I was never this close to her. Orange individual hairs could be sin on the skin... it wouldn't be that long. "Y-You can't do this! Big Macintosh will find out. Then he will hate you forever."      "I don't think so. He loved me first, and he always will." I dug my teeth into her sides, where she let out a loud shriek. Peach juice poured out of the wounds as I bit again and again. Spattered juice coated the floor as well, making everything the better. It was truly a sight. If only I had a camera so I could record this.      Just as I came for the final kill, she rolled herself from under me to on top of me, crushing my soft legs. Even though I have no bones, it still hurt! She jumped on top of me; this time on the lower waist. Ouch! Ms. Peach needs to loose some weight. "G-Get off of me you f-fein!. You fat cow!"      "Never!" She cried as she moved back and forth, efficiently crushing my body. All this movement made me worried as a nasty looking tear began to form on my leg. Her skin rubbed against it, widening it each second. Soon her green leaf caught on a loose thread near my tear, opening the it more. This was more pain than I could handle. My beautiful white stuffing began to seep out at an unnatural rate. It also mixed with the peach juices, turning it orange and sorry. I let out a guttural moan, trying to claw my way to freedom.      The loss of stuffing... I began to feel week. I blacked out just as Ms. Peach crushed my head.      "Do do dee do. Fixing up the shed. Do do dee do." Big Mac walked down to his room where he left his prized possessions. He pushed open the door, only to be greeted by a big surprise. "S-Smartypants?"      The carcass of the grey doll lay; stuffing, drool, and peach juice strewn everywhere. There was a large gash on Smartypant's neck from the leg to the neck. But for some reason, a peach was on top of it. How did it move there? Applebloom, Granny Smith, or Applejack never come in his room.      Oh well. He'll ask Rarity to fix up Smartypants later. He picked up the peach, noticing the gashes. "Weird." He ate the peach, mashing it up with his big molars. For half a second, maybe even less, a intsy bitsy scream was heard. The doll weakly, just barely clinging on to life, looked up. The peach was gone. Big Mac was his again.      "Justice is served." She blacked out again. //-------------------------------------------------------// No More Peaches [Tags: Alternative Universe, Sad, Everyone] //-------------------------------------------------------// No More Peaches [Tags: Alternative Universe, Sad, Everyone]      Ponies were warned that the day would come. The day without...peaches. They were horrified that such a time would come. How would it be possible? How could it be possible? Peaches were the norm today. Peach blankets, peach t-shirts, peach just about anything.      These brave souls grew all the peaches they could, stored them in peach banks, and did every single possible thing to protect their peaches. Bless them.      But...it wasn't enough. That day had come too soon.      Nopony knows when this terrible Apocalypse happened...it just did. Peaches stopped appearing in stores and markets. It caused panic, but that was nothing compared to what happened next. The peach banks were destroyed. All of the fuzzy fruit...gone. The banks didn't know what happened. Without peaches, the blankets and items couldn't sell. A virus is what happened. It infected peaches so quickly that you don't know the tree has it until the entire orchard is destroyed.      The virus made the trees droopy and sick, with rotten mushy fruit. If you ate one, there was a chance that you went to a hospital...or the graveyard. Hundreds of ponies died each day from the fruit. Nothing could stop the virus. Scientists for years worked on a cure, but none could be found. Peach farmers were booted into the street because they couldn't grow peaches anymore to pay their bills. Peach vendors shared the same fate.      Our economy suffered so much. Peaches were our income; our lives. We needed them and they needed us. So many businesses and homes closed that it seemed that every pony was living on the street.      Over time, we managed to save our nation. Sure it wasn't peaches, but a new fruit entirely. The orange. Such a simple design but the power to save us. Ponies sold oranges...we made bits again. Easy.      However...all great things come at a cost. With oranges, ponies forgot about peaches. Not losing interest, mind you, but memory. Each day, they talked less about peaches, and more about oranges. Many forgot what peaches tasted like. That always breaks my heart. Little fillies and colts weren't even taught what peaches were anymore. If you asked a random pony what a peach was, he or she wouldn't know what you were talking about. Luna,Twilight, Cadence, and even Discord forgot what a peach was like. My little ponies forgot what the beautiful peach was like... Except me, I remember. And I always will.
