An epic war waged as the ponies fought tirelessly to fight off the Shadows. Blade, the greatest military commander of the Equestrian guard (surpassed Shining Armor), is the only one who can fight evil in his dying breath and faces thousands and thousands of the Evil Shadows. The dragon of Shadows, Xithcotal, seemly finishes the young commander, but before Blade faces his fate, he was sent to the past.
