For my last birthday, my sister got me a diary. She said that I need to keep track of my life so I can understand it better. All I had cared about then was getting my cutie mark.
I never thought that cutie marks wouldn't matter to anyone. All I thought about was how cool it would be to finally know what I would be doing for the rest of my life. I kept hoping it would be something fun, like a game player or a cookie baker. I mean, how cool would that be? Going around, baking delicious snacks everybody loves. Trying new flavors and daringly add a hint of an exotic ingredient. But most of all, making people happy. That was the kind of life I wanted.
I didn't want something hard. I didn't want to have to worry about if I would win. Working on the farm would be much too boring. Who would want that? Besides my sis. That's her life, along with my brother. My jobs alone are not fun. The way they make it sound, the minute they started, they never wanted to quit. Well I want to quit. So most likely, my cutie mark is not going to be apple related. And that can cut off most options.
Sweetie Belle is one of my best friends. She's a white little unicorn with delicate curls in her pink and lavender mane. I have yet to see her use magic. It's normal for unicorns not to be using magic at her age. She can usually be seen singing a sweet song she came up with. I was surprised when she didn't sing at the talent show. I mean, it would have been perfect for her! Sweetie Belle's favorite color is a light, gentle blue. It can't be a dark, ominous blue. The sea's color seemed too natural for her. Not even a bright blue sky would fit. Her color was so light, if you took off someone's glasses, they would say it is white. Sweetie Belle's color fits her personality. She never gives up on ponies very easily. She may lie and say that she likes something if she doesn't want to hurt your feelings. That was just who she was. And you couldn't really blame her for lying. After all, she is Sweetie Belle.
Scootaloo is a bit opposite of my other best friend. She's tough, fast, and quick to act. She kind of idols Rainbow Dash. I once saw her bowing down to a picture of her... But that does not matter. Scootaloo rides her scooter as if there is no tomorrow, or a stampede is behind her. Every time she passes Grammy, she high fives her. You can often find her going off ramps and landing somewhere messy. That's one of the reasons why Sweetie Belle doesn't ride with her. Her favorite color is whatever color Rainbow Dash likes, which is red. I think she needs to make decisions for her self more often.
