Three years since they got together. Three years since that extremely memorable end of a Wonderbolt's carrier. Three years since that near death expierence. Now, three months into their marriage, Rainbow, Spitfire, and Scootaloo Dash all live happily together. However, not all of this lasts.

When the Wonderbolt's are taken hostage during a scout flight over the Gryphon Kingdom, who of which been showing recent hostilities, Spitfire is left the only one with the proper training to go in and save them. And so, she is brought back into duty.

Meanwhile, Rainbow is not only trying not to be to worrisome about her wife in hostile countries, but also trying to help out her own daughter as she has her first 'crush'. It's this crush, however, that puts her into an awkward position with one of her friends. In other words, chaos loves to reign in the Dash family.
