Prologue
"Is your head all right?"
"Im not sure..."
Thanks to Balrog, Quote and Curly Brace had barely managed to escape a painful death. With Ballos dead, their journey was over, and the remaining Mimiga had been saved.
"Phew!" Sighed Balrog "That...was close"
"I thought I was scrap metal this time for sure..." Added Curly "Looks like we owe you another one"
"Nah, don't thank me, I was just doing what Misery asked me to do." Replied Balrog.
"Misery? You mean that witch? I thought she hated our guts. Heck, I thought YOU hated our guts!" Said a surprised Curly
"You beat Ballos right?" Replied Balrog "When you did that it lifted our curse, now we don't have to take orders from anyone!"
Curly cracked a smile "I thought you were just jerks. But I guess it was all the crown's fault!"
"Well, you reap what you sow, Misery was the one who ordered Ballos to make the crown in the first place."Replied Balrog.
"Huh..."
There was an awkward silence between the three heroes, until Curly decided to break said silence.
"So, Quote, how's your hammer hanging? You haven't said anything since we started our fight against Ballos."
"Huh? Oh, don't mind me, just daydreaming..." replied a grim looking Quote.
"What's with the sudden grumpyness? We got the happy ending we were looking for."Asked Curly.
"Well, yeah, but think of all the people who gave their lives to leave us where we are now! Ma Pignon, King, Toroko..."
Balrog said nothing, as he held himself responsible for Toroko's death.
"Hell, even YOU only survived because I happenned to find a tow rope in the Island Core!"
Once again, silence reigned, but like last time, it was short lived.
"Uh...Balrog?" Said a shocked Curly as she looked behind "Do me a favor and turn around"
"What for?"
"Just do it!"
Afraid of Curly's sudden change of tone, Balrog turned around leaving the three of them looking at what was probably the weirdest scene they had ever laid eyes upon.
In front of them, was the expected floating island, but also a huge black orb of what could only be described as nothingness, it grew and grew in size as it sucked the island in like water from a straw.
"What the unholy shizz is that thing?!" Shouted Curly
"It's huge!" Added Quote
"I don't know what it is, but what I DO know is that we're getting sucked in!" Warned Balrog
Just like he said, they were getting sucked in along with the island. The devilish ball of void grew larger and larger as it devoured the floating marvel, and eventually, Quote,Curly Brace and Balrog. Once there was nothing left of the island outside of it's boundaries, the black orb closed in on itself, leaving nothing where the floating island once stood.

Quote awoke to find himself in the midst of nothingess, an endless black void with no sound or color.
"Curly? Balrog? Where are you?" he asked into the air, but to his dismay, he got no response.
"Crap"
Finding himself without any other option, he started walking forward, hoping that he would eventually bump into something or someone. He continued walking for what felt like hours upon hours, and quickly became an eternity.
Until after an endless amount of walking in the darkness, he heard a voice behind him.
"My my, you certainly are an interesting character"
Quote turned around, and found himself face to face with a...half-dragon half-goat half-horse half-lizard...thing.
"You're one to talk"
"Oh, where are my maners" The creature said "My name is Discord, embodiment of chaos and spirit of disharmony, a pleasure" he then extended his paw at Quote.
"Listen up buddy, I don't care who you are or what your name is, it doesn't take a genius to know that you were behind that whole black orb deal!"Replied quote
"Hmph! Rude much?" Retorted Discord "With that sort of attitude you'll never win your lady friend over, what was her name? Ah, yes, Curly Brace right?"
Quote's eyes widened like plates at the mention of Curly's name "Hey! If you lay a finger on her I will-"
"Oh don't worry" Interrupted Discord "She's safe and sound, for now."
"What do you mean by "for now"?!" Demanded Quote, but before he could get an answer, the darkness around him slowly turned into light, and the black turned into white.
"Oops! I have to go, it seems you're regaining consciousness" Discord said "Toodles!" He waved with a devilish smile as he slowly walked away.
"Hey! Come back here!" Shouted Quote. but before he could chase after Discord, the creeping light made it's way into his body, he was inmobilized as he slowly started to come back to his senses.

Twilight Sparkle was silently admiring the stars through her telescope. Taking the last bite out of her daffodil and daisy sandwich, she sighed and rubbed her eyes with her hoof.
'Princess Luna really outdid herself with the stars and constellations tonight' She thought to herself 'But nevertheless, I really need to get some sleep, Insomnia never did any good to anypony'
Just as she set down her telescope and headed towards the door to her room, she heard a loud bang coming from the sky. Shocked beyond belief, twilight went back to her telescope, where she admired the most nonsensical thing she had ever seen in her life.
In the middle of the sky was a floating island, sustaining itself without any kind of visible magical or physical support.
"SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!!!"
