//-------------------------------------------------------// The Future Past -by XetylnasXIII- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Abduction //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Abduction Chapter 1: Abduction Once on a peaceful day, Twilight Sparkle, Student of Princess Celestia, Element of Magic and conorated Alicorn went to visit an old friend in the Everfree forest with her loyal assistent, Spike, a baby Dragon who Twilight herself hatched and raises. After the events of the dissappearance of the Princesses, the rulers of the land Equestria named Celestia and Luna, Twilight needed a break from her latest mission. So she went into the Everfree forest, which was famous for it's dangers and household of the Tree of Harmony which now helds the Elements of Harmony after previous events. She trotted through the dense woods without any care of the dangers that may attack her. But she wasn't helpless. As an Alicorn, she's gifted with all kinds of new powers that can withstand any evil. Well, that was she thought..... 'S-s-s-say, T-t-t-twilight!!!! W-w-why do you want me to come with your little visit in the forest?!!' A scared baby dragon asked the pony he was riding on. 'Because..... It's been a long time since I saw Zecora and I'm curious how life has been for her. And she also asked me last time to bring you along if I ever visit her, Spike.' Twilight responded angrily. 'B-but that doesn't mean I would go with you in this wretched forest.' Spike complained. 'Ah, here we are, Zecora's hut. Let's go inside,Spike' Twilight said while Spike got of her back and walked next to her. As Twilight and Spike approached the hut, they could hear screaming, stuff being thrown around and explosions. 'What in the name of Celestia is happening in there?!!!' Twilight yelled and quickly ran inside to see Zecora, the zebra, being forced against the wall by magic that came from the horn of a black hooded pony. The hooded pony looked at Twilight in surprise and accidently losed it's grip on Zecora, who now is panting on the ground. 'Reveal yourself, criminal!!!' Twilight fired a magic beam at the figure, but the pony summoned a barrier that reflected the beam back at Twilight, hitting her dead on. Twilight now lies paralyzed on the ground of her own attack watching the figure levitating Zecora in the air with it's magic. Zecora tried to struggle, but with no efforts. In a flash, the hooded pony summoned a pedestal and held Zecora before it. Then the figure hit Zecora with a magic spell and in seconds, Zecora merged with the pedestal. She became a portrait!!! 'Mhuahahaha!!! Now, if that isn't a fine portrait. Oh, do I long to collect the others.' The figure said while studying it's work. 'Who....Are.....You!!??' Twilight shouted out barely awake. 'Hehehe!! My identity is of no importance, I'm only here to complete my mission her grace gave me.' The figure answered. 'Grrrr, you won't get away with this, brat!!!' Twilight yelled angrily at the figure. 'Brat?!! How amusing coming from somepony who can't even protect her helpless friend here...' The figure mocked while pointing at the Zecora painting. 'You're in luck. I'm in a hurry, I was planning to give you the same fate...' The figure continued while trotting to the doorway. 'But if you get in my way again, be sure you'll be stuck on the wall. Mhuahahaha!!!!' The figure cackled while leaving but is stopped by Spike, who now is angry about what overcame Twilight. 'Oh, another challenger. Fine' The figure said and then teleported behind Spike and kicked him away into the room. He then landed next to the now unconscious Twilight, barely conscious like his companion. 'Just who....are you?!!' Spike mumbled. 'If you insist on knowing who I am, then fine. Call me N. Hmm.' N said while walking away laughing to herself after Spike lost consciousness. After a while, Twilight awakes and get's up. 'Ugh.... The princess needs to know of this' Twilight murmured to herself and then teleported herself and Spike away. 'And after we found those painting on the street wall, we tried to wash them away without succes. Who ever did that sure used some permanent paint' A local pony explained some finding to princess Celestia. 'What are your thoughts on this, your Highness?' A guard asked. 'Hmm, it sure is a mystery unraveled.' the princess said. 'I say it's best to wait until the vandal or vandals return again to cause more havoc. Set patrols on every corner in the streets if night falls.' Celestia ordered the guards while they nodded and then exited the throne room. 'Hmm, I wonder how my student is doing. Maybe if I write....' Celestia was cut off by a loud flash appearing in the room and quickly vanishing. 'Twilight!!!' Celestia said shocked while seeing her student appearing before her covered in wounds and bruises. 'What happened? Who did this?!!' Celestia asked with a very worried expression. 'Your Highness, Spike and I have been attacked by somepony who can turn ponies into portraits. I don't know who it was and how she looks but I..'Twilight was cut off short by a panicking guard dashing into the throne room. 'Your Highness!!' He shouted out. 'What is it, guard? Please calm yourself, there's no need to...' Princess Celestia tried to comfort the panting guard. 'I.....Spitfire, the leader of the Wonderbolts!!' The guard said in his wild pantings. 'She's been abducted!!' As the guard told that Celestia and Twilight gasped in shock of this news while six guards came inside carrying a pegasus inside. It was Rainbow Dash. 'Rainbow!! What happened.' Twilight hurried to Rainbow's side. 'Spitfire...some strange pony in a black coat took her. I...tried to protect her...but..' Rainbow explained but quickly lost her consciousness. 'Twilight, could you explain this with me in a more private place?' Celestia asked Twilight and she responded with a nod. Meanwhile, a mare wearing a dark blue coat and carrying a black scepter looks into a magic pool showing the events that happened. She then closed her eyes and begin whispering to herself. 'So it finally begins... I hope she succeeds to save Equestria. I hope...' //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dark Rainboom //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Dark Rainboom Chapter 2: Dark Rainboom -Some hours ago from the previous events- 'And there goes Soarin, flying past Wildflame and taking the lead' A grey pegasus with a mike called out. 'Wait, what's that? One of the Wonderbolts seem to be aiming for the first place, passing by every competitor. It seems....It seems to be none other than Spitfire!!' 'Woooohhooooo, Spitfire!!! Kick their tails!!!' An excited Rainbow Dash shouted. 'Oh man, Fluttershy doesn't know what she's missing here at Cloudsdale Stadium. This is by far the most awesome Wonderbolt race I've ever been to' Rainbow said while performing a salto in the air. 'Spitfire and Soarin are neck to neck racing to the finish line. Who will win?' The grey pegasus yelled. 'Come on, Spitfire!! Show what you're made of!!' Rainbow yelled her lungs out. While the race continued, a black ball came charging for the stadium at high speed. It soon broke the sound barrier and performed a sonic boom creating a shockwave of shadow. Everpony in the stadium began screaming and pointing in the sky while the race still continued and the competitors didn't notice the black figure heading towards them. 'Whoaa, watch out!!!' Rainbow dash yelled and began flying after the figure. But it was already to late to save the race. As soon the figure reached the stadium, it hit Spitfire dead on. Spitfire lost consciousness and began falling towards the surface. But then the figure came back from where it stopped it's destructive trail and nabbed Spitfire away in a blink. Rainbow Dash, who witnessed all that, began dashing towards the figure holding the K.O.'d Spifire. When Rainbow finally reached the figure and was about to kick it in the guts, the figure teleported behind Rainbow and kicked her in the back. The figure then began making her escape by flying into the woods below when Rainbow was recovering from the kick she received. When Rainbow was fully recovered she began chasing after the escaping figure, who seems to be able to fly and use magic. It was without doubt an Alicorn, but who was it? The chase then ended quickly when Rainbow got the figure cornered in the dense forest. 'Hah!! Nowhere to go I see. Now give back Spitfire, you scum!!' Rainbow Dash yelled out. In response, the figure only laughed and said 'Well, well, if it isn't my old friend. yes, you have me now.' 'Old friend? what are you talking about?' Rainbow said with a confused expression. 'But. I'm not giving up without a fight, Dashy. hahaha!' The figure mocked. 'Grrr' Rainbow then dashed to the figure roundhouse kicking it in the face. 'Owch, that almost hurt. Now it's my TURN!!!' The figure then was enveloped by floating fireballs. The second the fireballs appeared, they flew right into Rainbow. Leaving her paralyzed on the ground. 'Fufufuf!! Now that you are helpless, let me show you your greatest nightmare' The figure called out and lifted Spifire up in the air with her magic. 'Noooo!!' Rainbow shouted out as she saw Spitfire being envelopped by some dark magic. The next second, Spitfire was transformed into a painting. 'Mhuahahah! She looks so peaceful. Ah, one of my best works, dare I say.' The figure applauded her work as Rainbow Dash stared in disbelief and shock. 'Now, I'll be off. My mission in collecting the Seven Sages is far from over. Hmm, maybe I'll pay a visit to that apple farm near the village.' The figure said while flying up in the sky. 'Until next time, Rainbow Crash!! Mhuahaha!' The figure mocked and then flew away in the distance. 'Dang.....it!!' Rainbow cursed and then lost consciousness. 'So the second sage is already captured.' A pony holding a scepter said. 'Come on, Twilight.' The figure spoke and then turned back to the pond displaying Twilight and the figure's location and process.
