Unexpected Events

The Sleepover

"Thank you so much Twilight for all you help, but I've got one problem...." I said to Twilight Sparkle as we headed down the path towards Ponyville.

"Yes? What's that?" she asked.

"Well I don't actually have any money on me for a train to Canterlot," I sighed, slightly missing my small apartment,"All I have is my clothes on my back since Quick probably took my stuff back to Appaloosa with him."

“Oh that’s fine, I've got a spare room you can use for the night or so," Twilight said calmly.

“What? Really?” I asked in shock.

“Of course! It’d be a pleasure! Erm, would you mind if we popped round a few houses just so I can organise something with them?”

“It's the least I can do for you!”

We visited Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie; who was still as hyper as I had remembered from school. I didn’t hear much of the conversation but when Twilight was talking to Pinkie, I heard the words, ‘party’, ‘sleepover’, ‘tonight’ and ‘congratulations’. That honestly made no sense to me, I just thought Pinkie was going to have a slumber party or something.

Twilight showed me around town afterwards, told me where many of the shops were and generally refreshing my memory of the town since I hadn’t lived in Ponyville for the past few years. Pretty much everything was in the same place, my favourite shops were still there, Tabletop Wars, which sold armies for Battleaxe 60,000, a tabletop war game I used to play as a teenager and Jeux, a huge branch of shops that sold games for the Zcube 720 and the Funstation 3; Button Mash, Quick Frost and I spent hours every week on those machines, chatting to each other, shooting aliens or zombies and racing in over-powered cars. Ok market stall had changed and a few shops such as Lyra and Bon-Bon's sweet shop were new to me but I didn't think much of it. We spent a good hour or so walking around Ponyville so that I could build up roughly were everything was, before we set off for the outskirts of town.

"Wow Twilight how on earth did you get this place? It looks great!" I exclaimed as we walked towards the giant, hollow tree that was her home.

"Well, Princess Celestia said that I should try and socialise with other people, so she gave me the library so I could study but also get to know some people," was her reply.

"Sweet, it looks amazing from here."

"Why thank you," she said with a big smile.

As we stepped through the door, it was dark. I couldn't see anything at all but as soon as Twilight turned the light on five figures of varying colour and size, shouted, "Surprise!"

"W-what's going on here?" I asked.

"Well, since you'd gotten out of hospital, I'd thought I'd celebrate it by inviting these guys..." Twilight gestured in the direction of the others,"for a sleepover!"

"Yea it's gonna be super-dooper-looper!!" cried Pinkie. She reached into her bag she started pulling out things,"I've got, chocolate, marshmallows, crisps, more chocolate, Jaffa cakes, sweeties and even condoms!!" she pulled out the final box and held them up in pride.

I was gobsmacked.

"Pinkie Pie! Firstly that is inappropriate to bring to a social sleepover, this isn't an orgy! And secondly, that is not the way to approach a man," Rarity said in horror.

"I knew that...." Pinkie sighed in defeat as she put them back in her bag.

"Anyway.... Let's get this party started!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash.

After everyone had changed into their nightwear, a short, white, silky nightgown for Rarity, a long, buttercup yellow nightgown with pink butterflies flying upwards for Fluttershy, for Rainbow Dash, a baggy, grey tank top and cyan short shorts, Applejack a similar attire to Rainbow but an orange checkered top and brown shorts, Pinkie just wore her pink underwear with a baggy jumper on top and Twilight a matching set of plain purple pajamas. She also let me borrow a pair of Spike's PJ bottoms, the top wasn't really my style plus being a bit small, so I wore my T-shirt with it instead. After the havoc of changing, Twilight walked to the kitchen with Applejack and returned seconds later with seven bottles of Sweet Apple Acres cider.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack were the first to break open their bottles and take a swig of the wonderful golden liquid. It was delicious, once the lid was off, I took a swig of the sweet, tangy liquid. All seven of us chatted whilst drinking cider, or gentle sips in Fluttershy and Rarity's case.

After drinking a few bottles and us all getting a bit tipsy, Pinkie Pie came with a suggestion "Should we play Truth or Dare?"

There was a brief moment where everyone just looked at her, and then agreed; I was honestly quite surprised by their decision but went along with it.

"Rainbow," Pinkie started,"Truth or Dare?"

"Dare all the way," the rainbow girl answered as she flopped onto a beanbag.

“I dare you to make out with AJ!” Pinkie replied almost too quickly.

All of a sudden the cyan pegasus had jumped on top of Applejack, pinned her to the floor and started furiously kissing her; the orange mare giving no signs of resistance. The whole group just stared, the clock in the background slowly going tick, tock, tick, tock. Moments passed and we just stood there, watching.

“Ahem….” came a quiet voice behind a waterfall of pink hair.

Applejack broke the kiss,”Oh yea…. Dashie remember we aren’t alone….”

“Oh yea sorry….. ” she climbed off of AJ, “I guess you all know now….”

"Well, I don't think any of us were expecting that," Twilight spoke up," But I always had a hunch about you Dash, being homosexual and all."

"I honestly think it's wicked," I added.

"Same here! Finally I'm not the only one that likes women!" Pinkie cried out in her excited fashion.

Jaws dropped again as everyone, including the two that has just admitted to their interests. The bubbly mare stopped bouncing and angled her head, a confused expression on her face,"What? You didn't expect that?"

"I-I always thought you were into stallions, I mean, you always talked about your nighttime adventures with them," Rarity stuttered.

"Well yea, I mean I love a good cock but a juicy pussy is alw-"

"Too much information..." said Fluttershy in her formal yet shy manner.

"Oh sorry, anyway RD, your turn," Pinkie Pie said, turning to the rainbow haired girl.

"Alright, who shall be my victim....." asked Rainbow Dash, surveying the six in front of her,"Frozen, Truth or Dare?"

I'm not sure if it was the alcohol which made my mind, or I was just feeling adventurous,"Dare."

"I dare you, too...... I dare you to kiss Fluttershy," Rainbow said slyly.

I got up, walked slowly over to Fluttershy and kneeled at her side. I swept the hair hanging in front of her eyes behind her ear and whispered,"If you don't want me to just say."

She whimpered a bit and replied,"B-but a dares a dare, y-you've got to do it...."

I slowly leaned into her and gently kissed her on the lips; her lips seemed to linger on mine. I started to pull back from the kiss, meaning it to only be a gentle peck, but Fluttershy leaned into the kiss more and more. I pulled back more and opened my eyes, to see Fluttershy, eyes as wide as saucepans, cheeks as red as the lipstick Rarity wore.

"I-I am so-o sorry..." she murmured quietly, her eyes automatically gravitated downwards.

"Why? There's no need to be sorry," I said softly,"You did great."

"R-really?" she asked, sounding a little surprised.

"Uh-huh," Rainbow butted in,"Sooner or later you'll be kissin' like a pro! Well, not as pro as me but ya know."

"Th-thanks I guess..."

Things didn't get too extreme after that, the strange Truths or crude Dares were perfectly normal; especially since at about this time, no doubt about it, we were all drunk. The Truths mainly ranged from who someone had a crush on to whether someone had any strange fetishes or sexual adventure anyone had had; some of the answers were, let's say interesting. Fluttershy was the most unexpected out of them all honestly, being such a shy girl and yet being into the 'darker' and more extreme sides to sex.

By about 2 o'clock, Fluttershy was curled up in a ball, Twilight and Rarity rubbing their eyes and Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie yawning. They decided to halt the game after one final Dare for me.

"Frozen Water, Frozen Water....." Applejack exaggerated in a drunken manner, trying to think of the dare.

A light bulb (literally) appeared above Pinkie's head and the pink mare leaned into Rainbow Dash,"Oh that's a great one," she giggled.

"Aww come on let's here it," exclaimed Applejack a bit loud.

"Pinkie here proposes, Twily's gonna enjoy this too," RD announces in between giggles," That you, Frozen Water, will have to spoon the little bookworm all night."

A sudden, excited giggle came from a lump buried into a sleeping bag behind me. It shuffled for a few seconds then out came a disheveled, purple haired girl, obviously trying to hold back a huge grin.

She sexily gestured for me to come to her,"Come on big boy, you wouldn't want to keep a lady waiting."

"Of course not ma'am," I replied bowing slightly.

After a small fit of giggles, Rarity spoke up,"Oh I never knew you were such a gentleman Frozen; you know I've been looking for one of them in my life...."

Before I could open my mouth to reply, we all heard the gentle breathing of Fluttershy. She looked so at peace, curled into a ball, blankets drapped over her body loosely and smiling slightly. The six of us still awake took this as a sign that we should get some sleep to. I got into position with Twilight, Applejack and Rainbow Dash snuggled into each other and Pinkie settled into a spread eagle posting whilst Rarity chose to lay on her side.

Before I could drift off into a drunken sleep, I heard Twilight whisper,"Thank you Frozen, I've dreamed of this for a long time...."

I nuzzled her neck, wrapped my arm around her waist, pulled her close and fell asleep; our chests rising and falling in rythmn.

When I woke up, I had no idea what the time was but Luna's moon was still high in the sky; a thin layer of cloud slowly drifting over it. Twilight Sparkle, still in my arms, whispered something inaudible then rolled onto her side so she was facing me. I sighed peacefully as she snuggled into me again, a cute smile on her lips. I would've happily laid there but I needed fresh air, the room was musky and smelt of sweat; as if two girls had had a bit of a roll in the hay so to speak. I gently moved the unicorns grip and stood up, the soft moon light shinning on the six sleeping women. Sneaking towards the door, I glanced over my shoulder to check if I'd disturbed anyone, silence. The only the sound was of the quiet wind outside and the hooting of owls. Turning the handle of Twilight's front door, cringing as it creaked open, I stepped out into the cool, refreshing night air. The thought crossed my mind to go have a walk, explore Ponyville at night but knowing my sense of adventure I'd only get lost; so I sat on the door step as I starred up at the night sky. I'd always loved the night, sometimes more than the day; it was cool, refreshing, peaceful and always a perfect time to clear my head and sort things out, but tonight it was just to catch a breath of fresh air. The cool night air brushed against my skin, I shut my eyes to gather a sense of peace when suddenly I heard a voice,"Are you alright darling?"

My eyes snapped open as I looked over my shoulder to see Rarity standing just outside the door, gently rubbing her left eye and her hair slightly unkempt.

"Yea I'm fine, just getting some fresh air," I replied patting the step next to me," Care to join me?"

"That might be a good idea, that room is so stuffy for some reason...." she responded as she sat down next to me, a puzzled look on her face.

I knew I'd have to tell someone at somepoint "Hahaha I think I know why."

"Well why then?" she asked, completely clueless to the answer she was going to get.

"We're sleeping in the same room as two lesbians and a bisexual, they may have, let's just say, had some fun."

While her face twisted from realisation to slight disgust, she asks, "You don't think... No, really? You think so?"

"Well, that would explain the smell," I responded with a slight laugh.

"Eeyuw...."

She stared off into the darkness of the night and let out a deep sigh. Her face cleared of disgust now, a look of what could only be described as sadness replaced it.

"What's up? And don't be the typical girl and say 'Oh it's nothing' 'cause I can tell something's up," I said  after a few moments of silence.

"Darling, I'm just, it's difficult to say...." she replies avoiding eye contact with me,"I'm not saying I'm jealous, I mean no lady should be but one does wish to be in an intimate, caring relationship."

"Well, tell me what you want in a man then, maybe I can help," I replied eagerly, willing to relive Rarity of her trouble.

"What I would like him to look like or his personality?" she questioned.

I shrugged and replied with,"Why not just personality to start off with."

"I want him to be smart, courageous, chivalrous, kind yet stern when he need be, fit, passionate, risk taking yet sensible, loving and just, perfect," sighed Rarity, tears started to form in her eyes as she continued,"It's just when one spends so long and gets no where expect a broken heart, one tends to loose hope."

"Hey, hey don't cry," I whispered as I put my arm around her shoulder,"How about we talk about this tomorrow hm? Go grab some sleep."

Rarity nodded and stood up after an instant of trying to pretty herself up again. I stared back into the darkness of Ponyville after she reached for the door handle.

"She likes you, you know. A lot."

"Who?"

"Twilight Sparkle dear, isn't it obvious?" And that was all she said before disappearing into the library.

I sat on that door step for minutes, my head spinning. Questions being asked over and over and yet this availed me nothing. I just couldn't stop thinking about those last words Rarity said,"Isn't it obvious?"

I slowly stood up, realising that I wasn't getting anywhere and hoping that sleep would. Taking one last  look up at Luna's bright white moon, I opened the door and stepped inside, gently letting the handle go. I wondered wether I should just sleep on the sofa instead of disturbing Twilight by trying to get back into position but I decided against it as I thought it'd be strange for her falling asleep in the arms of a man then waking up alone. I slowly lay downbc on my side and draped my right arm round her waist, pulling her closer, as I shut my eyes to try and catch some sleep. The void of sleep finally claimed me moments later.

A loud crash shook the deafening silence of the morning, my eyes snapped open as I jumped, ready for 'fight or flight'. The bright morning light shone through the high, shaking window of the library and onto my face; making me squint. Most had been woken up by this strange noise, all alert and some scared.

"W-What was t-that....?" Fluttershy whispered.

"I don't know...." replied Twilight uneasily.

I slowly tried to get up but the purple haired girl grabbed my hand tight and looked at me with eyes that said,"Please stay here."

A knock came from the door, three taps. And again, the same rhythm before a voice called out,"Miss Twilight Sparkle? Are you in? I need you to sign for this package."

"Oh what the buck did she crash into this time," Twilight muttered under her breath before shouting,"Just give me a sec!"

She jumped up and straightened out her clothes before plodding towards her front door. The door handle glowed with an aura of purple then swung open to reveal a mail girl in grey uniform, amber eyes pointing separate directions, her smile beaming.

"Oh sorry Miss Twilight, did I wake you? Your normally awake at this time so I thought it'd be an appropriate time to deliver th-" she started before the half asleep girl interrupted.

"Derpy, firstly, Twilight will just do, secondly, I am normally awake at this time but having a party and waking up from a drunken sleep isn't what I call normal and thirdly, what did you crash into this time?" Twilight responded in quick progression, obviously trying to stay calm.

"Oh, just the ground this time, though I did slid quite fast into your house, sorry," Derpy responded pulling a sorry face and showing the dirt on her uniform to Twilight, "But I'm ok and so is your house! So everything's good! Erm but anyway, oh yes package; gimme a sec."

A large brown package was pulled out of the mail girls shoulder bag and the signing for such package took moments before the grey uniformed girl departed, spreading her wings and taking flight.

Twilight shut the door and put the mysterious brown package on table next to the door before rubbing her temples and walking into the kitchen. Rarity gave me a look and I asked whilst pointing in the direction of where Twilight was, "Do you think I should....?"

Rarity and Fluttershy both nodded in response. I looked over to the other three to check for their conclusions to find that they were still sleeping, all cuddled together in some sort of weird bundle. I climbed up onto my feet, stretched, and walked heavily towards the kitchen.

Knocking on the door frame and poking my head round the corner I asked,"Hey Twilight, is everything alright?"

She lifted her head from the table and looked at me with heavy eyes,"Alcohol doesn't do good things for me the next morning, it dehydrates the brain and-"

"You don't need to explain, I know the basics," I laughed.

"Do you want some tea? I was just about to sit down with a cup of my own special mixture to clear my head," she offered.

"Ah why not," I replied as a tea cups filled themselves up with hot water behind me,"So what's wrong?"

"Eh, I honestly don't know, I have a feeling that it's my hormones, I've been single since college and one of my books states that deprivation from a mate can cause stress on the reproductive system," she sighed as the two cups floated over to us.

"Thanks. Well, Rarity's looking for a guy so maybe us three should go out, ya know clubbing or something, and look for a 'mate' each, as you put it," I I suggested as I took a sip from the mysterious dark tea. As the hot, bitter liquid hit the back of my throat, I felt jolts of electricity coarse through my body, relieving my cramp muscles from the uncomfortable position I was sleeping in and plus my foggy hang-over cleared up. The buzzing in my head, disappeared, my slightly amplified hearing, gone. It was miraculous.

"Do you like it?" Twilight asked, sipping from her own cup.

"It's, like, magic!" I laughed.

"Haha it sort of is," Twilight grinned," Erm but anyway, that sounds good."

"Actually why don't we all go out? There's gotta be some good clubs around here, I mean, Vinyl lives here!"

"Vinyl? If your talking about club music I have no idea," Twilight said sheepishly.

"DJ-PON3? You've never heard of her?" I exclaimed.

"Well, Rainbow Dash has spoken about her several times but apart from that, I know nothing," she replied, sipping her tea again.

"Wow. I am so taking you to one of her digs."

"Alright, we'll make plans once the others have properly woken up," the purple haired girl beamed.

Once the other five had woken up, hair all disheveled and clothes all creased, we decided on a day that was suitable for us all; this was not easy. It seem that every single day, someone was doing something. Either Rarity was going to the spa, Applejack or Rainbow Dash working, Pinkie partying, Fluttershy caring for her animals or Twilight Sparkle experimenting. After twenty minutes or so of chatting and diary checking, a date was finalised.
