This story takes place after the episode 'Secret of My Excess.' The greed in Spike's heart is still there, and eventually it takes over him. A few days later, Twilight Sparkle wakes up to find that Spike has missing. It turns out later that day that Rarity is also missing. After investigating, the mane six find out that Rarity and Spike were last seen going into the Everfree forest.

Twilight goes into the forest to save the two, and Applejack tags along because she is more worried about Rarity. However, what they discover is not what they had expected.

AN: This is my first Rarijack fanfiction, and there's Sparity in there too. I suppose you could say this was my first actual adventure story involving My Little Pony too. Anyway, constructive criticism is greatly appreciated, and I do hope you all enjoy it!
