Luna's Banishment
  "The moon! The moon! I must raise the moon!" Luna cried as she dashed through the castle as fast as her little legs could carry her, knocking over anypony in her way. She made her way to the balcony. 'Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Slow down, Lu Lu!" Celestia trotted up to Luna "Sorry, Tia..." Luna replied and slowed her pace and they walked together to the balcony. "Are you ready?" asked Celestia "Of course I am! But, can you could stand next to me...just in case?" Luna said "Okay...just in case," Tia chuckled. Luna flew in the air using her magic to raise the moon, but her wings stopped and she fell. Tia swiftly swooped in to catch her sister. Her eyes were clamped shut "Did I do it? Is it there?" Luna asked and opened one eye "The moon, or your cutie mark?" asked Celestia "The moon, duh! I-don't-have-a...." Luna's eyes shifted to her flank "I did it! I raised the moon AND got my cutie mark!"
   Luna sighed and looked at her subjects. "Surely there is nopony who loves me or finds any love in my night...." she cried. Then her sister came. "Surely there is nopony so lovely and so well beloved as I!" she said. Luna left the balcony and to her room. She sat on the floor and sobbed. Celestia realized what she had said, and trotted after her sister. "Luna, I-" "SHOULDN'T YOU BE OUT THERE IN YOUR SUN!?" Luna blurted "Lu Lu I just-" "NO! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE.....I.....don't...care..." Purple smoke flew through the window "The mesmia!" Celestia gasped "LUNA MOVE! LUNA!" she shouted...but, it was too late....the mesmia got to Luna and she broke in to evil laughing. Luna's hair flowed, she grew taller, and her coat grew black. "Luna...Lu Lu..." tears flowed down Tia face. "I'm not Luna anymore, you foal! I am NIGHT MARE MOON!" Luna cackled. Luna shot a bolt of magic at the sister, Celestia ducked and ran. "I never thought I'd have to use these..." Celestia said to herself. Her horn glowed and she raised five gems with her magic and suddenly, Luna burst into the room. "You think those will stop me?" she cackled. Celestia never spoke, she just stood there. The gems started to swirl around Celestia. "What? What are you doing? STOP!" Luna cried. The five gems shot magical burst at Luna. "CELESTIA! STOP! STOP IT!" Luna shouted even louder. One hit Luna square in her chest sending her to the moon for 1,000 years. "LUNA! I DIDN'T MEAN TO! COME BACK! LUNA! LUNA!" Celestia called for her sister "LUNA! Please....come...come back." Celestia's mane turned from pink to all sorts of colors. A new gem was formed into the shape of a star: The Element of Magic.
