Get those apples!! C'mon we need double the apples around now!! Don't forget that we are using half of the harvest as Tree Ornaments this year!!" Applejack said with a sigh. She continued carrying her own bucket of the past harvest's apples, and she noticed for the fist time that Apple Bloom was not falling behind, but in fact doing an amazing job, but she seemed overworked. The orange pony's face dropped after noticing her little sister sweating bullets, red faced, trying to carry a bucket of apples as big as she was. "Apple Bloom, I'm sorry" she said apologetically, feeling a bit worn out herself, Applejack suggested "How about we take a moment to to stroll around the Acres and see how the decorations are looking?" "Sounds good" muttered the tuckered out little filly. As the two strolled around the saw the snow-coated trees covered in with strings of fireflies captured in tiny little colored jars, the barn adorned with ropes of garland nailed to the overhangs of the roof. As the two entered the barn they were greeted by an enormous pine tree, with red and green apples hung half way up the tree, am obvious sign that the girls really should be carrying buckets of apples, "But we're plum tuckered out, we'll get back to it in a few minutes" replied Applejack when Big Macintosh asked why she wasn't working. Also in the barn was tinsel, miles of it, hung all around, and wreaths in all the windows. In the house, there weren't many decorations at all, a wreath adorning the frosty kitchen window, a small tree for the presents from Tinsel Claus in the living room, coated with plain red ornaments, and that was it. Then the girls saw Granny Smith carrying the best part of it all, the tree-topper, it weighed two pounds, made of silver, fashioned into a wing, a hoof, and a horn, symbolizing the three types of ponies, and heart carved into the middle connecting all three, displaying the friendship that had brought Equestria into existence. "Well, Apple Bloom, it's time to get back to work I reckon, everything looks great." //-------------------------------------------------------// Rarity & Sweetie Belle //-------------------------------------------------------// Rarity & Sweetie Belle "Sweetie Belle!! Come here please!!" "Coming, Rarity!" "I hope you have the wreath?" "I sure do!" Sweetie Belle was bringing her sister the wreath that they were going to use to decorate the window just above the kitchen sink. It was already encompassed by snow, which Rarity thought made the cutest little curve, and a perfect place to put the wreath! "Sweetie Belle, how is the tree looking?" "It's beautiful, Rarity" It was indeed gorgeous, it had jewels hanging from its branches, gold and silver fabric twisted into ropes entwined up the tree to where the topper was precariously perched. The topper was a beautiful dress, made of gold, polished to a beauteous luster. The rest of the living room was absolutely stunning. Being a successful fashion designer with an eye for perfection, Rarity's home was by far the most beautiful in Ponyville. Silver colored wreaths accompanied every window, red and green candles were perfectly placed on every table. Garland was pressed to every wall, hanging low off the ceiling. A big beautiful golden bow was fixed to the back of the door. Even Rarity's clothing design was inspired seemingly by the holiday, and ponies were certain that they had caught glimpses of her wearing a tacky holiday sweater in light of the season. "Oh it's gorgeous. I love the look of the place, thank you, Sweetie Belle" //-------------------------------------------------------// Spike & Twilight Sparkle //-------------------------------------------------------// Spike & Twilight Sparkle "SPIKE!! Where in the world are those ornaments?!?! Without them the tree will look terrible!!" "Twilight. We have two weeks until Hearth's Warming. You have to stop stressing about the decorations! The ornaments are over there, I'm going to get my stocking ready." "Ok. Good. What's next? Oh my gosh! Garland!" "Spiiike!! We need garland we don't have any in the library!" Other than the garland and a few other small problems here and there, the library was shaping up beautifully this Hearth's Warming. The main entry room had a big Hearth's Warming tree, capped off by a beautiful depiction of Princess Celestia adorning its tip. Red, blue, and white ornaments filled its green pines with color, accompanied by ropes of silver and gold tinsel spiraling opposite each other up the tree. Also in the room were three wreaths, all framing gorgeous red bows. And soon to come were ropes of green garland with miniature versions of the bows within the wreaths at every droop, and, on Hearth's Warming Day, perfectly wrapped presents laid out underneath the tree. Upstairs in the bedroom, wreaths laid on their sides on top of end tables, their green hues complemented by red candles of different sizes sticking up out of their centers. A big green wreath with gold and silver ornaments and a red bow at the bottom filled the snow-draped window. The balcony was decorated with ropes of tinsel dangling off the handrail, and it was covered with white, sparkly snow. And Spike's bed even had red and green flakes of confetti spread around the edges. Finally, Twilight had returned with the garland from the Ponyville market. "Spike, I'm home, I brought the garland!"
