What I'm I doing to today? (Chapter 1)
Day One
Day One
"Good morning," said Twilight while she was walking down the hall of the castle. "Hmm...I don't know what I'm going to do to- day," Twilight thought to herself. "I know I'm going to see if Princess Celestia needs me to do anything."
Twilight came to the big throne room doors, but when Twilight entered the throne room Princess Celestia was no where to be found. Twilight Sparkle came back out and asked the guards, "where is Princess Celestia?"
"She's out in the garden, your highness," one of the guards said to Twilight.
"Thank you, Maxine," said Twilight. After Twilight Sparkle, left Maxine said,"how did she know my name?"
Twilight went to the garden, and she saw Princess Celestia, sitting alone, looking at the flowers. Twilight said," Good morning, Princess Celestia."
Celestia answered," Good morning, Twilight."
Twilight asked eagerly, "do you need me to do anything? Go anywhere?"
"Yes, Twilight, I do" replied Celestia.
"Yes? What is it? asked Twilight.
"I need you to go visit your parents, Twilight Sparkle. Stay there over the weekend," demanded Celestia.
"Yes, right! Aw-" Twilight stopped mid-sentence. "Wait, what? You...you want me to visit my parents?" asked Twilight.
"Yes. They miss you, and you have not seen them for a very long time," said Celestia.
"Alright... I will go, Princess." Then Twilight left, went to her room to get ready to leave for her parent's place. But she was wondering why Princess Celestia wanted her to go home to her parents in the first place. "Well, it's true. I haven't seen my parents for a long time now, so I guess I'm fine with doing this," said Twilight.
Later that Day...
Twilight left the castle that evening and traveled to her parent's house. She knocked a hoof on the door and waited for an answer. The door open then, and Mr. Sparkle stood there. He bowed and said, "Good morning, Princess Twilight!"
Twilight laughed and said, "Oh, dad! You don't have to bow!"
"Yes I do, Twilight! You're royal!"
"Well I don't think you have to. Anyway, I'm here to visit. I haven't seen you for a long time," Twilight said as she hugged her Father. "And I missed you," Twilight added.
"I missed you too, Twilight," Mr. Sparkle replied.
"Well, come in and see your Mother. Honey,Twilight's here!" shouted Mr. Sparkle. Mrs. Sparkle came down stairs.
"Oh, Princess Twilight! Good morning," she said with a bow.
"Mom, you don't have to bow. And you don't have to call me Princess, either. Just Twilight."
"alright princ- I mean Twilight!" Mrs. Sparkle said. "So what are you here for, anyway?"
"Just visiting," Twilight said, when all at once there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" Mr. Sparkle offered. He answered the door, clutched something in his hoof, and came back.
"Here's a letter for you, Twilight," chirped Mr. Sparkle. Twilight took it and read:
"Dear Twilight,
This is Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy . We want to tell you that we are coming to visit you! We'll see you a day or two , Twilight.
From,
Your Friends Forever.
Two Days Later
"Wow! Mom, Dad, this has been the best weekend of my life! Twilight yelled happily.
"Our's too, Sweetie," Mrs. Sparkle said.
"Well, we still have about 3 hours to do something fun," Mr. Sparkle chimed in.
"You're right, Dad. We do still have 3 more hours until I have to go back to the castle, so let's go have some fun! Twilight cheered.
"Good idea, you two," Mrs.Sparkle said.
After some thought, Twilight said, "let's have a picnic."
"Okay, so we're going to need a picnic blanket, spoons, plates, folks and cups," Twilight listed.
They all sat down once everything was set up in their backyard.
"Sweetie, want a peach?" asked Mrs. Sparkle.
"Sure!" Twilight answered, then she remembered something. "Wait, I forgot something in my room. So, Mom and Dad, be right back," Twilight stated. (or brb to some of us.)
She went into the house and went to her old room. She was getting an object from a drawer when something else caught her eye. She looked under her bed and found a book. She opened it and was greeted with a face full of dust. However, Twilight ignored it and she started reading. The more she read, the more her eyes widened and her jaw fell open.
She had never read anything like it.
The book had her parents names in the cover, and in the middle of the book she found a picture of her parents. They sitting with a filly between them.
She wanted to find out what this was.
She went back outside a moment later and sat with her Mom and Dad. She said, " Mom, Dad I found this book and it has you two in it, and a picture of you to sitting with a filly," Twilight reported.
Mrs. and Mr. Sparkle looked at each other. "Honey, it's time you know something," Mr. Sparkle said.
"Know what?" Twilight asked.
Mrs. Sparkle finally said, "I'll tell half, and you tell half, alright?"
"Alright, I'll go first," Mr. Sparkle said, before looking at Twilight.
"Years ago, before you or your brother were born, you have-or had- an older sister. We named Starlight Sparkle. We lost her 7 years after she was born. How we lost her... your mother will tell you that part," Mr. Sparkle said.
"Well, we were visiting Ponyville. We had business down there. But Starlight wanted to come with us, so we let her come...and that was a big mistake..." Mrs. Sparkle stopped and started crying.
"I'll finish, dear," Mr. Sparkle volunteered with a sad smile.
"We were down in Ponyville all day and we were fine until nightfall. We were going back to Canterlot, but we were attacked by bandit Ponies. I tried to fight back, but I failed to protect my family. I got hit really bad, and they were about to do the same to your mother, but guards came to save us. They hit, kicked, punched and arrested one of the bandits. Little did we know that one of them had your older sister Starlight in his hooves. She was crying, of course, being a filly, she would cry anyway.
"The bandit...he tied a rope onto a spear and threw it onto a mountain side. Then he jumped off the edge and was in the air for a moment, but the rope snapped and he and your older sister fell down into the darkness. Some of the guards went down where they fell and only found the bandit's body. They didn't find your sister, and we were so sad.
"One year later your brother was born. Shining Armor already knows about this. So that's what happened," Mr. Sparkle said. (Chapter 2 coming soon)
Twilight sat with her mom and dad and listened to the story. When then finished telling it, she said, "Wow. Why didn't you tell me?"
Her father answered, "We didn't think you were ready yet. You were so young. But your our little Princess now!" He cried out happily, and smiled.
Twilight, however, didn't respond until a moment of silence. "What if Starlight is still alive, but she's hiding somewhere!?" She asked suddenly, with eyes full of excitement. Her mom and dad exchanged a glace, then turned back towards each other.
"I don't know, honey, "Mrs. Sparkle said. "The guards were searching for a long time."
"But we can't just give up!" Twilight shouted. "This is Equestria, and I say nopony gets left behind!"
"How would we even do it?" asked Mr. Sparkle. His face read of concern, but his eyes told a tale of hope and excitement.
"Well," Twilight said, "we'll need a group of guards to help us search, and tents for when night falls. maybe I can even get my friends to help us!" The purple Alicorn was shaking with excitement, and her parents were both smiling, finally agreeing.
"Let's do it!" cried out Mrs. Sparkle. The shout was completely uncalled for, and Twilight cringed, but then she stood and laughed.
"I'll get the girls down here, and Dad, why don't you write Celestia a letter and ask her if we can borrow some of her guards?" Twilight ordered. "And mom," she said, turning to face her mother, "I need you go get food and sleeping supplies."
All of them went back into the house and got busy with thier tasked. Twilight caught a train to Ponyville and got her five friends, Mrs. Sparkle got all of the supplies together, and Mr. Sparkle got in quick contact with Celestia. Two hours later, the Sparkles had managed to pull together a full scale rescue group. Applejack didn't forget to gather all the elements as well.Later on they all gathered at the castle alright everybody here? Twilight ask. We are here Twi Applejack said Mom have the Food and sleeping supplies? Twilight asked yes I do Twilight Ms. Sparkle said wait where's Pinkie Pie and Flash Sentry? Rainbow Dash asked Over here slow poke Pinkie Pie said with a giggle.
5 hours later of searching.
Can we rest now Twi Rarity asked laying down yeah can we stop for now Spike asked alright its getting late anyway lets set up camp Twilight said they did as she asked I'm going to bed Twilight good night everyone Mr.and Ms.Sparkle said. So your not going to eat mom and dad? Twilight asked No were not hungry tonight Twilight night Mr.Sparkle said Good night they all said So where to next Twilight? Flash asked well guards are searching all the Equestria's capitals and we are outside of Equestria Twilight said I just don't know where to look anymore Twilight said sadly well we are not going to give up right Twi Rainbow said Twi? Twilight? Rainbow asked where did she go Fluttershy asked
Meanwhile with Twilight and Spike
Spike I have no idea where she could be I don't know how she looks like Twilight said crying Well why don't we go to the Crystal Empire to look for your sister Spike said Why there? Twilight asked still crying Because where else could she be if's she not died
no pony can live in the outside of Equestria its just not possible Twilight not a Dragon nor Pony nothing can live out there Spike said
Twilight stopped crying well Its worth a try Spike lets go back to the others and get some sleep.
In the morning, Twilight forced herself up with excitement. "Wake up, everypony!" she called out.
Rarity rolled her head to face Twilight. "Twilight darling, i love you, but a mare needs her beauty sleep!" And with that, she fell right back asleep.
Twilight let out a frustrated grunt, then said, "for anypony who actually cares, Spike had a great idea last night! We should go to the Crystal Empire and search! And when we're done there, maybe we can go to Canterlot!" The more she said, the faster she spoke, until finally she was out of breath and fell to the ground, exhausted.
"Oh! Ohh! I've only been there once and this'll be So much FUN!" cried Pinkie Pie from the back of the group. "We can go there and search all the houses and interrogate all the fancy-dancey crystal ponies and maybe even see Cadence and we;ll be like 'Is Twilight's sister here?' and she'll be all like, 'no, who's that?' and i'll be like-"
"Please, Pinkie!" Mr. Sparkle said. He had his ears covered with his for hooves, but he was smiling. Mrs. Sparkle stood up next to him, and yawned.
"It's too early..." Mrs. Sparkle said. "A mare need beauty sleep." 
Rarity grunted in agreement.
Twilight finally gave in, and agreed to wait a couple more hours. When everpony had gotten their 'beauty sleep', they all set off for the Crystal Empire. Ponies made of Crystal were everywhere. They packed the streets, flew through the sky, and some unicorns were teleporting themselves out of the crowds.
"How are we 'spose to find anypony in all this mess?" Applejack shouted. She had to yell to be heard over all the chatter and clopping of hooves. Somepony bumped into Rainbow Dash, making her back onto Fluttershy's long tail, causing Fluttershy to scream and jump up.
We'll never get out of here like this, Twilight thought. So maybe...
"Everpony, gather around!" Twilight declared suddenly. Flash Sentry stood next to Twilight, causing her to blush madly. A gray stallion named Charmdeed Got Fluttershy's attention, and they all huddled in a circle around Twilight.
"Close your eyes, guys," Twilight said. A beam of light burst from Twilight's horn, and enwrapped the guards, and her parents and friends. When they opened their eyes again, they were in a much less busy part of the Empire. Applejack sighed a breath of relief, and everpony followed lead, each one letting out some sort of grunt of happiness.
Then they looked around. A green pegasus came flying at them at top speed.
"LOOK OOOUUUTT!!" She shouted. All of the ponies parted...except Fluttershy. The pegasus slammed into Fluttershy, kocking her into a trash can.
YOUR MY SISTER!?!?!?! (LAST CHAPTER)
Oh sorry the Green Pegasus says its alright It didn't hurt anyway Fluttershy said getting up. Oh silly me I forgot to tell you all my name anyway my name is Cylcious she said And who all of you if you don't mine me asking Cylcious asked. You don't know who we are??? Twilight asked Nope Cylcious said Well this Fluttershy , Applejack , Rarity , Rainbow Dash , Spike , my Mother and Father and Flash
and I'm Twilight Twilight said Alright see y- wait your Twilight like Princess Twilight the real Princess Twilight Cylcious said with a big smile Yeah? Twilight said Then follow me Shining Armor is always talking about you when he's on duty here Cylcious said Really? Twilight asked Yeah we better hurry he's about to go back on duty soon Cylcious said.
And with that they went straight for the castle and found Shining Armor telling guards to go to the south wall.
SHINING 
Twilight said Twilly what are you doing here? Shining Armor asked Shining and Twilight hugged for a few seconds and then they broke the hug So what are you doing here? Shining Armor asked still confessed why she was here Well I'm not the only one here Shining Twilight said Shining Armor its good to see you again Ms.and Mr. Sparkle said at the same time. Mom and Dad what are you too doing here? now I know something is up Shining said with confession Well she wanted to know about you know who Ms.Sparkle said Oh did you tell her what happen already? Shining asked Yes we did Mrs. Sparkle said If you don't mind us asking Ms.Sparkle what did happen to your older daughter? Applejack asked You mean Twilight didn't tell you? Ms.Sparkle asked
all of them shook there heads no. Well we will tell you Ms.Sparkle said come on we should sit down follow me to the couch room They all started to follow Shining but Cylcious ,Twilight and Flash Where are you going going your sister not in the couch room Twilight Cylcious said We are going to listen to the story Twilight and Flash said at the same time Flash looked at Twilight Twilight blushed I heard it billion times I tell you about it later Cylcious said Who told you? Twilight asked. Your sister duh Cylcious said WHA- Twilight was cut off when Cylcious put her hoof over here mouth come on we don't have much time Twilight Cylcious said you coming Flash? Twilight asked yeah Flash said wlaking after them they came to a dead end we are here Princess Cylcious said
where? Twilight asked Here Cylcious said Cylcious went over to the wall and said Pepper smell like you butt with cheese in it Cylcious said Flash and Twilight just stood there jaw opened and then the wall opened. Come on Cylcious said
Then they walked down a torch lighted hallway talking about how Cylcious find here sister and how she knew about her sister.
So Cylcious how did you find out about my sister anyway? Twilight asked well I came to the Crystal Empire after you saved it from King Sombra 3 years ago me and my husband that is Cylcious said being cut off by Twilight your married? Twilight asked well yeah I am well I was anyway I started to work for Shining Armor and Princess Cadence I then I follow Shining Armor one day I didn't mean too spy but I did and he came to that wall back there and said Pepper smell like you butt with cheese in it and I did the same thing you and Flash did and then the wall opened and then I follow him to your sister and the- Cylcious was cut off again by Twilight. Wait wait just one second Twilight said and then Flash and Cylcious stopped you mean my brother Shining Armor knew about my sister being here for who knows how long! Twilight yelled. He has knew about for 4 years Cylcious said WHAT! 4 YEARS DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THAT IS? DO YOU! Twilight shout in anger crying a little. He didn't even tell me Twilight said well I not even suppose to be down here with both of you if Shining Armor found out he would fire me + ban me from the castle Cylcious said in fear so we better hurry before he finds out we are missing. Then they all hurried to a wooden door / Alright we are here Cylcious said my sister in there? Twilight asked Yep but before you go in I'm going to go in first because she knows who I am Cylcious said she walked to the door and was about to open it until Twilight said Wait did she every see a picture of me? Twilight asked Nope she never seen you Cylcious said Alright go then Twilight said Alright but Flash is going to have to walk in right after me alright Flash Cylcious asked Alright Flash said.
Then Cylcious opened the door and walked in
Hey Starlight its me Cylcious Cylcious said coming in Oh hey Cylcious I have not seen you sense yesterday Starlight said hugging Cylcious like she was her own sister and I have some friends with me Cylcious said really did Shiny say you can? Starlight asked
kinda anyway Flash come on in its alright she won't bit Cylcious said Flash walked in slowly hello I'm Flash Sentry you can call me Flash for short Flash said Alright I'm Starlight Sparkle you can call me Starlight for short Starlight said nice to meet you Flash said you too Starlight said alright you can come in too Cylcious said then Twilight walked in then Twilight looked at Starlight (I'm not the best at describing people or ponies but I will try). Alright Starlight this is Princess Twilight Sparkle and Twilight this is well to me she's a princess anyway Princess Starlight Sparkle Cylcious said then Starlight started to walk around Twilight. *sniff* *sniff* you smell just like mom Starlight said Ahhh why are you sniffing me? Twilight asked jumped back a little I'm just seeing how you smell like you look a little like me Twilight Starlight said Yeah whatever now I have some questions for you Starlight Twilight said Alright you can ask away Starlight said walking to the couch that was in the room they were in Well I have alot so I'm going to needle it down to 10 Twilight said Alright Starlight said 1. Why didn't you come home when you knew that mom and dad would go looking for you? Twilight asked. The others already seated down Well the reason I never came back is because Shiny said that mom and dad forgot about me is it true? Starlight asked Well they didn't forget about you if they did then I would not be here Starlight I wish I knew you were here sooner Twilight said Anyway 2. When did you find out about me? Twilight asked well I found out by Shiny AKA Shining Armor he told me about how you saved Equestria alot of times Starlight said so that's how you knew about me Twilight said to herself alright 3. Do you ever leave the Empire or the Palace? Twilight asked no I have not every sense Shiny found me here Starlight said 4. did you ever think about or try to leave? Twilight asked I thought about it and I tried once and failed because Shiny said its not safe for me to leave Starlight said alright but it's not true it is safe for you to leave Twilight said 5. Did Shining Armor tell you that I became an princess and an alicorn? yes he did I wish I was there he said that your song you sang was wonderful I wish I was there Starlight said 6. How come you live down here? Twilight asked because Shiny said no one can find me down here but he was wrong Starlight said alright 7. How did Shining get this stuff down here? Twilight asked well me and him teleported this stuff down here Starlight said 8. Why are you wearing that thing on your back? Twilight asked because.... because well just because I want to that is Starlight said nervously I don't believe you so I'll just take it off myself Twilight said Wait! Starlight cried Why? Twilight asked because there's something under here that you should not see Twilight Starlight said I won't laugh alright? I promise Twilight said alright but its nothing to laugh at anyway Starlight said then Twilight used here magic and lifted a black cloth off of Starlight and then they all Gasped but Starlight. Sta... Star .. Starlight YOUR AN ALICORN!! Twilight said in wonder Cylcious! did you know she was a alicorn? Twilight asked well maybe kinda yes I did Cylcious said how come you didn't tell me? Twilight asked because I wanted your sister to tell you and it looks like you did on your own Cylcious said anyway I still have 2 more question for you Starlight Twilight said 9. Where did you get your wings from the reason i'm asking because no one in the family history was a alicorn Twilight asked well that's a long story Starlight said we don't have time sadly maybe another time Starlight Twilight said alright Starlight said 10. Why didn't you come home when you survived the long fall? Twilight asked that's a long story too you don't have time for it either do you? Starlight asked no we don't maybe later but now its time to meet mom and dad Twilight said walking to the door. WAIT! are you crazy what if Shining Armor finds out I well be fired or worst banned from the castle for life Cylcious said worried don't worry Cylcious if he bans you from the castle or fires you its not a big deal plus you work me If you want Twilight oh thank you Twilight thank you thank you thank you Cylcious said come everyone we have to go upstairs quick I can feel Ms.Sparkle ending the story off how they lost you Starlight come Flash said. Running out the door Cylcious , Twilight and Starlight follow quickly behind him.
Meanwhile upstairs with the others....
And that's what happen to our little Starlight Ms.Sparkle said wow.... wow .... WOW you mean we have been looking for a die filly? Rainbow Dash said with that Ms.Sparkle starting to cry. Its alright honey Mr.Sparkle said holding his wife Now look what ya'll on did RAINBOW DASH! Applejack yelled well its true we have been looking for her and its been 4 weeks and we could not find her now what do you have to say about that APPLEJACK Rainbow Dash yelled back Rarity was just watching them fight and Mr.Sparkle and Shining Armor both were trying to cheer Ms.Sparkle up.
Meanwhile with Pinkie Pie and Fluttleshy.
Oh um Pinkie Pie I wish we could you know hurry back I want to hear the rest of the story Fluttlershy said alright come on then Pinkie Pie said when they were walking down the hallway they came to a dead end. Stop screaming you too Twilight said and then they stop screaming Oh its just you Twi and Cylcious and Flash and who are you Fluttlershy asked I'm Starlight Sparkle you can call me Star or Starlight for short Starlight said Pinkie stopped jumping because she was in shock Fluttershy was in shock too. Come on we don't have much time where are my mom and dad? Twilight asked In the couch room Twi Pinkie Pie said coming out of shock Let's go Twilight said and everyone follow behind. They got to the couch room
and they saw Applejack and Rainbow fighting about if Starlight was alive or not Shining and Ms.Sparkle were still holding Ms.Sparkle who stopped crying.
Mom? Dad? is that you Starlight said walking to them slowly Shining Armor looked at her and was about to speak until......
Starlight! Ms. and Mr. Shouted running to her Starlight starting running to them and then they were in a big hug at this point Rainbow Dash and Applejack stop fighting. Its been so long Starlight Ms.Sparkle said Lets go home mom and dad and then they walk out the door after they left out Shining Armor looked at Cylcious angrily and walked up to her and said Why did you bring her up here Shining Armor said well Twilight said she wanted to see her sister so I helped her do that Cylcious said and one more thing I quit Cylcious said walking with Twilight and the mane 6.
