//-------------------------------------------------------// Portal to Vvardenfell -by Pony With A Hat- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1: Portal to Vvardenfell //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 1: Portal to Vvardenfell I stared into the mirror portal with a look of determination in my eyes. I was ready, ready to go forth into a world I had no clue exists. Oh, sorry let me explain. One moon ago, I was cleaning the artifacts when a book flew out of the portal. Disgruntled I picked up the book and began to read. It was in a strange language. But for some reason my touch translated it into Equestrian. I opened the book and immediately blacked out. When I awoke a strange looking creature stood before me wearing a mask. I would soon know this to be a human. He grabbed me by the neck and said one thing before I woke in the artifact room in the Canterlot Castle. "Those who relive the past are doomed to repeat it, Lyra. Remember that." Then he dropped me. After those events I studied the book day and night, it was very interesting in truth. It speaks of a place called Vvardenfell which is a large island off the coast of a place called Morrowind. This intrigued me so much I came to a conclusion that if the portal through the book out, then the place on the otherside must be Vvardenfell. Or at least someplace in that world. So back to the story. I stared into the mirror portal with a look of determination in my eyes. I was ready, ready to go forth into a world I had no clue exists. I stuck my hoof into it first, as if it was hot bath water. I slowly made my way in to find myself in a room. The room was strange, it was dimly lit by a torch behind me and the walls looked as if they were made out of bones and some sort of resin. The room had a makeshift wooden door and a strange half humanoid, half robotic creature standing in front of it. I was startled. But he simply stared at me and smiled. I tried to ask him who he was but all that came out was a whimper. "whu.." I whimpered. He simply laughed. "No, need to be afraid of me, dear! I'm here to help." said the humanoid. Suddenly a bird appeared on his arm. "I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere in the world, but then I ask myself the same question." He said, feeding the bird some kind of bread. The bird then flew away and disappearing into the wall. He began to size me up. "Well, I don't think your going to make it as a, uh, hmph." He was confused. I helped him get through the sentence. "Pony." "Right! Pony, so were going to have to fix that aren't we?" He said. He walked up to me and poked me in the nose, so many things filled my mind and my body began to morph into a, and I quote, 'Half human, half pony'. He continued "So there you have it my dear," He turned around and covered his nose. I looked at him strangely. "What." I asked, tilting my head. I looked down. I was naked, and actually had showing genitalia. My eyes widened and I covered my self, my face hot with embarrassment. "Heheh, you mind if you could conjure up some clothes?" I asked him. "Right! Um, let's see here." He snapped his fingers, some decent clothing along with a bag of food, water, a map, and an iron dagger was dropped on my feet. I put on the clothing and put the back around my arm. He turned around and looked at me funny. "What now?" I asked rather irritated. "Are you magically inclined? Because I can sense it." He questioned. "As a matter of fact, I am!" I told him proudly. He snapped his fingers again and a bunch of random scrolls and a staff appeared in my arms. "Well, then those are for protection." And with that he simply vanished. I sat there wondering what that was about. I walked over towards the door and opened it slowly. I was bombarded with all the scents and sights around! Giant mushrooms grow wild! Beautiful swamp trees! Some ruins to the East. This was a alchemist's paradise! I stepped outside I looked around, trying to find a road to civilization. I found an old dirt road with a group signs. I rushed towards the signs. There was a town nearby. Seyda Neen. Or at least I thought there was. I began walking the path in a daze, thinking about Ponyville, and where I am now. I began studying the scenery, for some reason I know exactly what is what. Maybe it had to do with the transformation? I don't know. But for instance, I didn't know where I was but suddenly I knew I was in the Bitter Coast Region on the Island of Vvardenfell. I also knew about silt striders, nix hounds, and the dunmer! I looked down and laughed a bit. I was overpowered for being new to pretty much everything. "Well Lyra, your here." I said to myself. There stood before me was Seyda Neen. The town looked bustling, which caught me off guard due to it's size. It had all kinds of races. Huh, kind of like Ponyville. I took a few steps into town and I was immediately greeted by a small wood elf. "Hello madam! I'm sorry to interrupt you but I was wondering if you've seen my ring?" He asked me. I was happy no one took strange for my appearance. So I helped him out. "No I haven't sir, but if I find it what should it look like?" He smiled slightly. "It's an iron ring with a sapphire in the middle, it also glows due to it's enchantment! So if you find it please let me know!" I walked off and agreed. "Will do!" I never did find his ring that day. But it was alright because a strange man in ragged clothes gave it too him five minutes after I talked to him. That night I just stayed in the trade house. I stood up writing my research but fell asleep in the process. But one question ran by me, why wasn't anyone taken aback by my appearance? I clearly am I whole new species to them! Or am I? //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 2: Episode 1: Silt Strider //-------------------------------------------------------// Day 2: Episode 1: Silt Strider I woke up in a daze. I looked over towards the window to the right of me. It was mid day. I sat up in my bed and gave off a small moan. Those beds feel like their made of rock. I stood up and slumped my bag over my shoulder, while picking up my staff. I walked out the door, throwing a pouch of drakes on the Redguard's counter. I walked out of the Trade House and sniffed the air. It smelled like a bog. I walked across the wooden pathway that led to the Trade House's door. I began walking to the signs near an old bridge to see where I should go next. But what I saw in my peripheral vision intrigued me. It was a Silt Strider. I trotted, sorry, walked up the hill that led to the Silt Strider. It was massive. It had a rough exterior, like a shell, and on its back had an empty space and something that looked like a control panel. I approached the Dunmer who was standing by it. "How much for a ride?" I asked in a collective tone. "Depends on where you want to go." She answered, wiping some dirt from her dark red linen shirt. "Where does this get me?" I asked, presenting fourteen gold coins. She studied the coins that were in my hand. She looked up. "Balmora, you interested?" She offered. "Sure." I agreed as I climbed into the Silt Strider. She hopped in, grabbing two of the stalks that grew out of the silt strider. She pulled one, causing the silt strider to let out a echoed groan. It began to turn towards the sea line and walk slowly around the coast. I studied all I could while the silt strider made its way down a path previously used by the same silt strider I assumed. I watched as the lush, boggy swamps turn into dead trees and ash covered soil. I noted this to be the ashlands. I studied all I could from where I was standing. I saw festering pools of some unknown liquids, cave entrances, and Muck Sponges. I pulled out my map too study my surroundings. My expression changed from curiosity to plain confusion. Balmora was in the West Gash Region, and we were going the opposite way. I looked at the dunmer piloting the silt strider. She was going to rob me, I thought. I took my staff and charged it up. A crystalline began to form while fog began to shed off of it. It made a quiet cracking noise as I aimed it at the pilot. I wasn't going to kill her. I just wanted her to thing I was going to. "Hey." I called, getting her attention, her expression fell dead. I continued. "Where are you taking me?!" I asked with a hint of anger in my voice. She licked her lips, revealing sharp teeth. She was a vampire and I didn't even know it. She lunged at my and I fired the charged shot. It hit her in the leg, of course I'm a terrible shot. She straddled me, wrapping her hands around my neck. I reached into my bag and pulled out the knife. I plunged it into her back, around were her heart would have been and she loosened her grip. Her expression was dead as she slumped over wheezing. I stood up and stared at her coldly. One thing that surprised me but didn't at the same time. Not a single drop of blood came pouring out. She slowely faded away. Not in literal terms like she disappeared but she died, or at least again. I turned my attention to the controls. I tucked the map away began turning the silt strider towards Balmora's direction. I should have been happy that I was alive at that point, but the thing is, that day took my innocence. I was a virgin, I never did any harm, not even to an insect, and I never even cussed. Well all of that went bye bye. Except for my virginity. I still have that.
