Rainbow's Punishment
Day 1: Trying Them On
Load Full StoryNext ChapterThe harsh cacophony of drills and hammers fills your ears as you stare out the window at the smoking husk that was once the west side of your house. Despite your position on one of the higher floors, even the occasional beeping of a backing truck manages to pierce through your concentration. The numbers run through your head again about how much this massive gash out of your estate is costing. Although nothing compared to what you typically earn, the huge amount still left an unnecessary hole in your expenses that you really don't care to cover in this financial quarter. So much for a peaceful, stress-free morning. You sit in your study going over the bills, the palpable irritation in the atmosphere making your lovely assistant, Raven, grow increasingly worried.
"I made sure to make the company lawyers go over the contract for the third time, sir. They assured me there would be no issues with the town labor commission," she says, careful to not let the nervousness slip through her professional demeanor.
You let out a sigh, making her fidget in place as she waited for your answer. "Good, Raven. You have the outfits and today's copies ready?"
"Yes, sir. They should be here in five minutes. Would you like to go down to meet them or do you want me to--"
You get up from your chair, making Raven wince in anticipation. "No, I'd like to do this myself. Bring the things down to the front door. We'll get them set straight," you say, letting a little anger slip through your voice as you think about the perpetrators.
Raven scrambles out of your office to get what you needed. As irritated as you are about the damage to your house, the thought of the upcoming punishment takes some of the edge off and allows a sly smile to rest on your face.
The smell of burnt wood and paper still clings to the walls as you walk down the stairs into the entryway. Your mansion should be lavish and wondrous, and the stink of a fire will ruin that image for what might be months.
You reach the front door, and surprisingly see the arsonist walking down your path. She looks to have her own brand of annoyance on her face as she talks to someone beside her. Your smile grows wider as you see her partner. A slender, sharp-looking girl about her age with short, snow-white hair, thick purple eye shadow, and piercing yellow eyes that promised harsh consequences for anyone that got in her way. Her torn jeans, tall boots, and flight jacket told you as much as you needed to know about her personality. She should be fun.
The sight of Rainbow on the other hand only brings another twinge of annoyance to you. Her long, unkempt hair fell over a ratty, old, light-blue hoodie, all the way down to the beginning of jeans she didn't even bother to loop a belt through. Why she was fit for any job at all was perplexing beyond all imagination.
The sound of furiously clacking heels fills the foyer as Raven comes down the stairs and rushes up to the front door with you. Sweat is beading on her forehead and she's breathing quite hard for one little trip across the entire mansion. It's good to get her worked up early, you think to yourself.
"Cutting it a bit close, aren't we, dear?" you ask her with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, sir. Sorry, sir. I have everything you need for them to begin."She stretches her arms out to show you the bag in her hand. You look over the packaging from the custom lingerie site and the clipboard full of papers she's holding.
"Good. I'd hate to have to punish you yet again, Raven." She gives you a nervous nod, shaking the little charm on the collar around her neck. You made sure it matched with her usual business attire, and still looked good once you took her out of it as well. She swallows the lump in her throat and proceeds over to the door. After only one knock she opens it wide and ushers your guests in.
"Ah, my saboteur has finally arrived," you say grandly, a fake smile on your face.
Rainbow grits her teeth at you. "For the last time, it was an accident, okay? Can we just get this over with?"
"Meter boxes don't simply spontaneously combust, my dear. Forgive me if I don't completely absolve you of fault given the circumstances," you say, motioning back towards the burned out portion of your home.
"Look, dude, we--" the white-haired one starts.
"And how rude of you not to introduce me to your friend. I assume you're opting for the shortened arrangement, then?"
Rainbow rolls her eyes. "Yeah, just a week if I bring a friend. Her name's Gilda."
"Yeah, that's me," the white-haired girl says with a stern tone, not a hint of enthusiasm in her voice as she looks at you with scorn.
"Well, you have already signed the contract, Rainbow Dash, but to solidify the other arrangements we need Gilda to do the same. Does she understand what she's getting into?"
Rainbow grunts in frustration, crossing her arms over her chest impatiently. "Ugh. A week of cleaning your stupid house. We get it already. Your dumb lawyers already bored me to death with it."
"Good. Raven?"
Raven clears her throat and sets the bags down to handle her clipboard with two hands. "To ensure the first contract was not signed under duress, we require a second signature on the updated document since you have accepted our alternate arrangements. Gilda, you will be required to sign yours today and another copy tomorrow. The first of the forty five stipulations is to--"
Gilda grabs the clipboard out of Raven's hands, making your assistant yelp at the sudden force. "Yeah, yeah. Just give me the stupid paper already."
Raven takes in a deep breath to compose herself. After all she's been through, sudden movements aren't her favorite. "As you wish. Just sign here, here, here, here, initial here and here, and then sign, print, and date here. Um..." Raven slips the second sheet out from Gilda's grasp as timidly as she can manage. "This one is for you, Rainbow Dash."
Both the girls hesitantly skim through and sign your contracts. The smile on your face grows even wider once you see they didn't even bother to read them. This is going to be a fun week.
They shove the papers back into Raven's face, so your timid assistant hands them their new uniforms. "Um, now if you would, you need your uniforms to begin your first work day."
Both of the girls give a roll of their eyes but reluctantly take the bags handed to them anyway. Rainbow reaches into her bag with an irritated glare. "What kind of uniform would we need to clean a--" her expression drops and her face turns white as she pulls the outfit out of the bag.
"What the FUCK?!" Gilda exclaims, making poor Raven jump. "You didn't say shit about this, Dash!" She holds up the offending fabric: a skimpy little french maid outfit. The smile grows even wider on your face as Rainbow's mouth hangs open as she holds her own out in front of her.
"Y-you didn't say anything about this!" Rainbow finally manages to stammer out to you.
Raven clears her throat, flipping through the contract in her hands before showing a page to Rainbow. "In section five, subsection two, paragraph eight, clause three, it clearly stipulates that you much wear a uniform during all working hours unless otherwise directed."
The dark blush paired with the angry expression on Gilda's face is absolutely delectable. "No, there's no way I'm putting this shit on. Find someone else to help you, Dash."
Raven clears her throat again. "Actually, since you've already agreed to the terms and signed the contract, you are legally obligated to fulfill its terms."
Gilda narrows her eyes at Raven. "Or what?"
"Or, Rainbow has to pay the full amount owed on the repairs. What was it again, Raven?"
"It was eight hundred and sixty four thousand, five hundred and ninety two dollars and, um," Raven adjusts her glasses to look down at her clipboard. "Sixty two cents, sir."
"And since you're now her cosigner, my dear, you will owe half of that for breaking our contract."
Gilda opens and close her mouth for a moment, trying to think of something to spit back at you. Instead, she turned her ire to Rainbow. "What the fuck did you just get me into?"
Rainbow gave her friend a sheepish smile and put her hands up innocently. "H-Hey, It's only a week, G. I mean, I'm not any happier about this than you are, but imagine having to do it for a month if you didn't come," she says. Considering what you know of Rainbow, you expected her to be just as angry, but the timid excuses in the face of Gilda's anger is an interesting development. You make a quick mental note of that for later.
"Now that we have that out of the way, ladies, I believe it's time to get dressed so you can begin breakfast," you say, walking forward and putting a hand on both of their shoulders to pull them closer to you. "Also, a bit of legal advice: it would be wise to read a contract before you sign it."
Gilda grinds her teeth hard at your words. She's smart enough not to say anything though. You gesture over to the nearby bathroom for them to get dressed and wait eagerly to see what comes of it.
"I... I might need to get a larger size," Raven says as they both walk out of the bathroom.
"No, no... this is perfect, Raven," you say.
The sight before you is just joyous. Your two new maids are tugging at their short skirts, desperately trying to cover up their underwear to no avail. Their breasts are practically spilling out of the openings in their tops, and if it wasn't for the black evening gloves and stockings, you might just mistake them for being in their underwear at first glance. You had a general idea of Rainbow's measurements, but Raven had gotten two of the same size and Gilda is a few inches taller, and quite a bit bustier as well. Every time she pulls her skirt down, you can see just a hint of the pink of her nipples slip out of her top.
The girls make their final adjustments before just giving up and looking up to you, a seething hatred forming in their gaze.
"Now that you've been properly dressed, you have an hour to set the table and prepare breakfast. It is served at nine sharp."
Rainbow blinks a few times. "Wait, that's only like thirty minutes from now. How are we supp--"
"Then I'd suggest you hurry. Do you recall the second punishment discussed, Rainbow?"
"Another week, yeah, I know," she says in a dejected tone.
You nod over to Raven and she leads them into the kitchen for you. You trod upstairs to wait the time out, letting the acrid smell of faded smoke irritate your nose. The walls of the west corridor are still stained black from the fire. Thankfully it was stopped before it spread to the rest of your house, but unfortunately it devoured most, if not all of your library.
You close your eyes and tense your muscles as you stand in front of the window. All of this because some insolent brat couldn't be bothered to do her job correctly. She didn't even bother to formally apologize either. Girls like her had no respect, and no one bothered to teach her... before now. You feel the frustration building in your chest before you let out a deep breath. She's going to learn her lesson, one way or another. You're going to make sure of that.
At the end of your long dining room table, you tap a salad fork onto a plate incessantly. Raven fidgets in her chair to your right. She knows it's the wrong fork, and she knows it was the only one sitting there. She should know better, but considering who was supposed to set the table, she might have her work cut out for her.
After a few more taps, she can't take it anymore. "I can do it for them, sir, it's not a--"
"No," you say sternly. She stiffens up in her chair and looks down. "You are to instruct them on their duties. Do you know what happens if I catch you doing it for them, Raven?"
She gulps, running a finger through her collar as she stares down the tablecloth. "Yes, sir. I do, sir."
"Then do not ask me again. If this happens again we will rectify it accordingly. Do you understand?"
Raven clears her throat and blinks a few times. "Yes, sir."
Your two new maids come out of the kitchen, both looking exhausted, covered in little marks of soot and eggs, both their uniforms already disgustingly stained. Gilda carries with her a pitcher of water, while Rainbow a pair of plates, both stacked on top of each other with food, like she's some bus girl in a one star restaurant. You turn your gaze to Raven, who immediately sinks down into her chair with a dark blush on her face. She refuses to meet your eyes as they lay out the dish in front of you.
"Alright, there you go. One home-cooked breakfast," Rainbow says as she slides the plates over to you and Raven, yours leaving a trail of grease as it makes its way across the table. "The Rainbow Dash special. Enough protein to get you through any workout," she says proudly.
"An overcooked slice of pork and under-cooked scrambled eggs. This is something I'd feed my dogs as a punishment. What made you think this was appropriate for human consumption?"
Rainbow's expression shatters, then immediately turns to anger. "Hey, you asked for breakfast. Well here it is! It's not my fault if you're too snobby for real food."
Raven brings a hand up to her face and mutters a little "oh no" under her breath. You get up from your chair to face Rainbow. Her haughty, competitive expression don't last long once you stand up to quite a few inches above her.
"Raven, show Gilda where the kennels are. The hounds have been particularly ill-mannered lately," you say over to her.
Raven darts up from her chair and quickly grabs the plates, as if she was thankful to finally get out of there. "Yes, sir. Right away. This way, miss..."
"Just call me Gilda, you dweeb," she says as they both hurry out.
You turn your gaze back to Rainbow now that you're alone. Her eyes have quickly turned from brash and challenging to fearful as you walk towards her. She takes an unconscious step backwards, bumping into a chair.
"I... I'm not afraid of you," she stammers out, trying to furrow her brows at you.
"I want you to tell me something, Rainbow Dash. Did Raven show you how to set a table?"
"Yeah, but why would you need that many--"
You take another step forward, forcing Rainbow to take another back. "Did Raven tell you exactly what to cook and how?"
"I mean, yeah, but I couldn't even pronounce the name! How was I supposed to--"
"Do you or do you not understand the arrangement presented to you?"
You can see the frustration and fear building in her face as she scoots back. "I do! What else do you want from me?"
"I want you to do it right, Rainbow Dash. I want you to do what you're told, not what you want. What you wanted got you in this mess, and if you do not put an end to your selfishness it's only going to get you into more."
Rainbow lets out a frustrated grunt and steps towards you this time. You refused to give her space, which put the two of you precariously close to each other. "Alright, you listen here, dude. It was one accident. I'm sorry about burning your dumb house, okay? I already agreed to this stupid maid thing, so just step off, alright? I do things my way, and if you don't like it then... uh, then..." Rainbow's eyes fall away from yours, most likely realizing how little leverage she actually has.
You take a deep breath to quell your own fire building up inside you. You had better ways of dealing with the likes of her. "I don't believe you understand the gravity of your situation, Rainbow. Let's put it into perspective. Your dream is to, what, become a pilot and fly with The Wonderbolts, isn't it?"
Rainbow takes a step back and blinks at you a few times, her hard expression quickly turning to bewilderment. "H-how did you know about that?"
"I know a lot of things. Now, if you continue this insolent attitude, not only will you and your friend Gilda owe me something to the tune of half a million dollars each, but I can also ensure that this little incident turns into an arson charge. Do you know any jobs that you can raise that kind of money from in jail? Do you know any jobs that would even hire a negligent little felon like that in the first place?"
Rainbow's eyes go wide at your words. She brings up a forearm between the two of you, like you might pounce on her or something. "I... I..."
"You... you... didn't think of that, now did you? I doubt someone as incompetent and foolish as yourself could ever achieve that dream in the first place, but cross me and I'll ensure you never achieve any dream again."
Rainbow's expression turns back to anger at those words. "You can't do that!" she yells at you.
"What do the kids say these days? 'Try me'."
"Screw you! I've been working hard my whole life, you're not gonna take this away from me now," she says with a newfound fire in her eyes.
You take another step towards her, making her back into a chair and almost trip over it. "I sincerely doubt someone as undisciplined and incompetent as you could accomplish anything, judging by your already pitiful performance. Do your job or you're going to get quite a bit taken from you."
Rainbow looks down at the floor and clenches both her fists. That one obviously touched a nerve. "I'll show you incompetent," she says with a low growl. Rainbow rears back and shoots a fist out towards your fast. You have to give the girl credit: she's incredibly fast. You barely manage to duck out of the way in time, but unfortunately for her, you grab her wrist and spin her over with her own momentum. You hold her hand out beside you and pin her other arm to you as you grip her tight. She dangles underneath you like she might be a dance partner, but the sudden fear washing across her face tells a different story.
"Let me go!" she says as she tries to kick free with her legs, but they only swipe at air behind you. You can tell she's not used to wrestling with people stronger than her.
"That's strike one, Rainbow. I only allow two more."
Once the energy finally drains out of her, she goes limp in your grasp. The otherwise overconfident athlete looks up at you with a fearful expression as she tries to catch her breath. She gulps and then looks up to give you a timid nod. You let go of her and drop her to the floor with a harsh thud. You leave her to rub the back of her head while you calmly walk away.
"Now, get with Raven and your friend once they get back. You have a lot of work to do."
You sit in your office, ignoring the piles of papers on your desk as you wonder who Rainbow thinks she is talking to you like she did this morning. You certainly put her in her place, but the interaction left you unsatisfied that she'd gotten what was coming to her. Your mind flips over proper punishments, none of which seemed quite appropriate, that is until your mind came across one old nuisance you couldn't seem to get rid of.
"Raven," you say, making your assistant jump from her desk sitting on the other side of your study. She immediately stands up and hurries over to your desk.
"Yes, sir?"
"What was that one annoying girl's name? The one that kept sending us messages about how 'awesomely amazing it'd be if I let her throw a super-duper mansion party' on the property?"
"Oh, that would be Pinkie Pie, sir. The restraining order had already been filled after we caught her feeding cotton candy to the dogs and then using balloons to float up to the roof."
You nod, remembering the fluffy-haired menace. "Ah, yes. That sure was quite a lot of balloons. How a girl fresh out of high school could afford that many is beyond me."
"The investigators said she must have had her own factory and must have used a full tanker car of helium, sir."
You let off a little laugh. "Yes, she's the one. Lift the restraining order and get me her number. I'd like to have a chat with her."
Raven gives you a nod. "Right away, sir," she says before scurrying back to her desk.
You put in a few orders of your own to arrive for in the next couple hours. The previous irritation at Rainbow's attitude soon turned into glee, as you formulated your plan.
"What time is she supposed to be here, Raven?" you ask your assistant as the two of you make your way down the hall to the foyer.
"She said she'd be here in three minutes, but I don't see how that's possible so it's most likely she'll--"
"Hiya! I came as soon as I could. I already planned out the best games locations and the optimal snack placement in the foyer, ordered a truckload of streamers and balloons, and invited over five hundred people! This is gonna be the most amazingest party ever!" Pinkie rattles out from behind the two of you. You both end up jumping as she strolled right between you and handed you her plans. You nodded you head. It had only been a solid fifteen minutes since you even let her know. She's either very good at this or has been planning this for years. Either way the end result put a smile on your face.
"Wonderful, Pinkie. Have the guests ready at the front door at seven pm sharp. I want to welcome them into my home myself."
Pinkie has her own beaming smile pointed at you. "Can do! Rainbow Dash is going to be so excited for her congratulations-on-becoming-a-lowly-maid-for-the-richest-guy-in-town party!"
You let off a quick chuckle. "She sure is, Pinkie, she sure is."
Pinkie jumps on you and gives you a quick, full-body hug like she was some sort of spider monkey. You blink a few times as she squeezes your head into her breasts. She even smelled like hard candy and fruit punch. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you so much! I've been dreaming of having a party in this placed for like, forever! Now that I finally can and I'm the happiest party pony in the world!"
Raven raises an eyebrow. "Pony?"
"Oh, right, wrong series, haha," she says as you peel her off you.
"Well, Pinkie, I am the kind of man to make dreams come true. Tell as many as your friends as you can. I want everyone to come to the party of the century."
Pinkies eyes lit up like fireworks. "The century? You really think so?"
You give her a reassuring smile. "I know so, dear. Now go, I want you to have as much prep time as possible for tonight."
"You got it, buster!" she says before literally exploding into a cloud of confetti. Once you and Raven wave the offending paper out of your face, Pinkie has completely disappeared.
"That's a neat trick." You look down at the horrendous mess she left behind. "A messy trick. Have the girls clean this up once they're done with the windows, won't you?"
Raven gives you a nod. "Of course, sir."
"I've got some messes of my own to make."
After an excruciating wait, seven pm finally rolls around. You tap your foot in the foyer, waiting for Raven to bring back Rainbow and Gilda so you can share your surprise with them.
You take one last look around the room: balloons and streamers littered the ceiling and tables and chairs were set up everywhere they could fit, alongside the usual childish games like bobbing for apples, pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, and a bounce house of all things. You do wish she would have put that outside, but you're sure they'll spread the party out there eventually regardless. Along with candies and cakes, you'd ordered enough alcohol to kill a herd of elephants. You peek through the curtains outside at the massive crowd that had gathered, thinking even that might not be enough to cause the kind of damage you wanted.
Raven brings the girls around the hallway to the top of the stairs just in time to see the accommodations. You revel in their dropped jaws and stiff posture, wanting to see the looks on their faces once you let the crowd in.
"Right this way, he'd like you to be at the front door to welcome the guests," Raven says.
"Guests? What the hell is going on?" Rainbow asks as they walk down.
"Yeah, dude. You never told us anything about this, what are you trying to pull?" Gilda asks as they make their way to you. You ignore them and pull open your doors.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!" you shout to the crowd. Pinkie turns around from the friends she was talking to so she could meet you with an excited smile. "I apologize for the short notice, but I welcome you to Pinkie's... what was it again, dear?"
Pinkie bounces, literally bounces up the steps beside you and begins to shout. "Rainbow's congratulations-on-becoming-a-lowly-maid-for-the-richest-guy-in-town party! It's going to be the party of the century!" The crowd doesn't react much to Pinkie's exclamation, just a few unenthusiastic woos and anticipating faces.
"And all the alcohol you can drink!" you add. The crowd immediately erupts into a cacophony of cheers. "The foyer, kitchen, front yard, and pool you are all free to explore! Have a wonderful night, everyone!" You say, stepping inside to let the stampede of college kids in. Pinkie had since disappeared from your side and had appeared on top of the steps where a DJ table had been conveniently placed. The massive speakers they trucked in immediately begin to boom as she dances around her chosen DJ.
"You... You can't be serious," Rainbow says as she pushes through the crowd to get to you. "How did you even organize this?" Rainbow looks around, perplexed at the sheer size of what you'd constructed around her.
"I feel like we got off to a bad start, Rainbow, so I decided to give you a little surprise."
"Wha... but who's going to clean this up!?"
"Why you are, Rainbow. You did become my maid after all. But I'd like you to enjoy yourself for a night first."
"Wait, so you want me to have fun?"
You look over her head to see Raven telling Gilda what you expected of them tonight. Right as she's done you hear the crash of a nearby vase, and see Gilda's white head of hair scurrying off to it. "Of course, Rainbow, of course."
"Oh, I guess that's coo--"
"There is one thing, however," you say in time for Raven to squeeze herself through the mass of bodies to where you and Rainbow are standing. "I assume you have told Gilda of tonight's responsibilities?" Raven nods. "Then Rainbow should hear the same."
"Right. As per section 2, subsection 18, paragraph 9, clause 3, you are required to address any and all messes, spills, disturbances, or rule violations immediately upon seeing them. If you are caught ignoring or otherwise neglecting aforementioned duties for any reason, you shall be in violation of this clause and be subject to an extention of one week."
"So I have to..."
"Clean up after our fellow party-goers? Yes. But these people are your friends, aren't they, Rainbow? I'm sure they'll be considerate of your responsibilities." You look up to see an open bottle of vodka fly across the room. By the looks of it, it was already half finished before it crashed into the ground with a ear-piercing shatter. Rainbow winced at the sound. You simply gave her your best shit-eating grin and patted her on the shoulder. "Better get to it. The night is young, my dear."
You stand over the foyer at the top of the stairs, reveling in the destruction before you. Only a few hours had passed since it all started, but already you could clearly see a few fresh patches of vomit, plenty of broken glass, and people throwing used plates and cups where ever they were done with them. An added bonus of not ordering trash cans.
Raven stands beside you, her hands up against her ears as she tries to soldier through the dreadful party. You have special plans for her tonight, and for now you had other things to take care of, so you grab her around her waist and pull her close so she can hear you. "Raven, I'm very disappointed in you for this morning," you say. Her curious expression as you pulled her in quickly turns to shame as she looks down and away from you. "I'll meet you in my office and we will discuss your situation."
She gives you a weak "Yes, sir" that you can barely hear before enacting her walk of shame back down the hallway.
The electric blue hair of the dj bobs up and down wildly beside you, and you quickly wonder how those violet glasses even stay on her. She's doing a good job of keeping everyone happy and preoccupied though, you almost start a conversation with her, but out of the corner of your eye you catch Rainbow not on her knees cleaning, but standing up talking to a group of girls her age. You think you should take care of that.
You head down the stairs and follow them as they trail their friend into the much quieter kitchen. You stand over the heads of her friends and give Rainbow Dash a quick smile. You caught her saying something about how she had to clean a few hundred windows before she noticed you and cut herself off.
"I was just about to pick up..." Rainbow's head darted around wildly to look for some mess, until she spotted an empty bottle out the window. "That glass outside! Yeah, that's it."
"So, these are the wonderful friends I've heard so much about. Though I believe we've already met," you say, nodding towards Fluttershy. She gives you a nod and a gentle smile.
"How is Lucifer doing? Is he finally getting over his sore tooth?" she asks.
"Oh, he is, dear, and he's been much more lively since you'd been over. I may never need to call a vet again."
Fluttershy blushes. "It was nothing. I'm not a vet yet so you really should get a second opinion, I mean, if that's okay with you."
"Nonsense, darling. Lucifer has never been happier. I'm sure he'll see no other, and my dogs are overdue from a visit from you as well."
Her smile widens at the compliment. "And Rarity, how is business doing? It's been a while since I've been to the shop."
"Oh, darling, it's been booming since your investment! I've had the money to start an entire new line, and even advertise it too. At this rate I'll have my own shop in Manehattan."
"Here's hoping, my dear," you say.
Rainbow raises an eyebrow. "...How?"
You raise on back. "How? Well, I believe in small businesses, Rainbow. If there is no pillar of the community we all crash down, don't you think, Rarity?"
"Oh, I could not agree more. I don't know where I'd be without our new mutual friend, Rainbow. I can assure you, despite your..." Rarity looks her friend up and down, "current arrangements, you're in very good hands."
"I'm not so sure," the girl to the right of Rainbow cuts in. The beauty before you has long locks of red and gold hair, with catching eyes of teal that only the brightest of diamonds could match. "Who dresses their workers like this? I mean, are you guys going to do a softcore photoshoot too?"
You look the girl over, wishing you could put her in something other than the garish leather jacket she's wearing. "As odd as it might seem, I thought a bit of embarrassment would go a long way into teaching Rainbow here her lesson. I'm sure you've all gotten to know her reckless side more than I have."
They all gave you subtle nods and looked away as Rainbow looked across all them. "Seriously, guys? You're gonna take his side?"
"Darling, you did destroy a large portion of his house," Rarity says.
"You also never told him you were sorry," Fluttershy adds before looking back down.
"Well, if y'all did this to any of our houses, we'd be mighty pissed too. Considering the size of this place, I'm thinkin' you got off easy," the girl in the cowboy hat says. For what some lowly peasant's opinion is worth.
"The outfit is a little much, but they are kind of right," your mystery girl adds reluctantly.
"Ugh, I can't believe you guys!" The sound of someone vomiting sickeningly fills your ears from across the room. Rainbow lets off a groan and stomps off.
"I don't believe we've been properly introduced, my dear. You are?" you say, taking the leather-clad girl's hand in yours.
"Sunset, Sunset Shimmer," she tells you as you kiss her hand.
"A pleasure, Sunset." You give her your name in return. "Your friendly neighborhood billionaire, philanthropist, investor, entrepreneur, and Owner and CEO of a few international tech companies."
Sunset looks down and brings her hand back to her, rubbing it with her unkissed one. You want to say there's a blush on her cheeks but you can't rightly say because of the dark. "Yeah... I just, uh," she clears her throat, "I'm just trying to look after my friends. Normal employers don't parade their employee's bodies' like that."
"Well, I'm no normal employer, dear. Perhaps we can get better acquainted sometime so we can talk about employment methods." She doesn't answer you. It almost seems like she was afraid to meet your gaze. You give her a quick once over. The protective type if you've ever seen one. She may become a roadblock to Rainbow's punishment if you're not careful. You make a mental note to keep an eye on her.
"Well I will leave you girls to it, I hope you all have a wonderful night," you say and exchange the usual goodbyes. You stay around the wall for a moment and wait.
"I think he's taken a liking to you, darling," you hear Rarity say.
"Not every day a billionaire wants to get to know you, I guess," Sunset says. "I don't trust him though. You saw how he dressed up Dash. She looks like a stripper! I think he might want something more than just a maid."
"I think you're overreacting, dear. So he has some strange ideas about employee uniforms. Billionaire playboys are oft to do strange things such as that. If they didn't have strange and unique methods of leadership they wouldn't be so successful."
Sunset lets out a sigh and looks away from her friend. "I guess..."
"Oh, lighten up, Sunset. I've known him for a while now and he has been nothing but courteous. Consider yourself lucky he seems so interested with you. If for some reason you decide to pass up this chance of a lifetime, please do put in a good word for me. If you aren't going to take him I will," Rarity says with a sultry tone.
Sunset lets off an awkward laugh. "I'll keep you in mind," Sunset says before pursing her lips and looking around at her friends. "If he does do anything funny though, we still need to be there to stand up for Rainbow," she says, adopting a stern expression, eliciting a quick nod out of the girls.
"Of course, but I'm telling you, you have nothing to worry about. Isn't that right, Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy looks down as a light blush crossing her face, no doubt thinking about some of her own experiences with you. "He's been very caring for his pets, and he even donated enough money to the animal shelter that we didn't have to put any of the animals down this winter," she says.
Rarity moves over and places a hand on Sunset's shoulder. "See? You have nothing to worry about. Rainbow's going to be thankful she chose this generous offer over a lifetime of debt. Now relax, dear. How about we go see that million dollar pool?"
Sunset takes in a deep breath. "Yeah, I guess. I'm still going to keep on eye on it though."
You let out a sigh of your own as they usher her outside. Things always had to be complicated, didn't they. You're sure it's nothing you can't handle, but the extra annoyance isn't something you want to put up with, all things considered. You weave in and out of the stumbling kids, careful not to step on anyone or any fresh vomit.
The loud music and constant crashing and tearing of all your meticulously placed decorations grates on you as you make your way up the stairs. It's about to time relieve some stress for the evening. As much as the thought of that brat having to clean all this up amused you, it certainly wasn't going to be enough to assuage you completely for now. Luckily, you have something else in mind. You start to unbutton your shirt as you make your way down the hallway towards your study. A wicked smile crosses your face. You have an assistant to punish tonight.
Author's Note
I have an addiction, and that addiction is Sunset. Don't worry though, this story is going to still be heavily RD focused. Just some extra drama in there.
