Everypony in Equestria is happy. Peace prevails over war. Joy spreads like the common cold, only better. But on occasion, there is a period of time in the lives of some ponies where something goes wrong. Maybe a loved one dies, or something bad happens in your daily life. Depression might settle in, and these unfortunate souls can slip out of their lives for a while. They even might go insane.
Take Violet Lynn Scratch, however. Everything went wrong for her, yet she isn't insane. Quite the opposite, actually. She's completely sane, even if she is a little broken. But she is here. She's alive. And she is prepared to do whatever it takes to see her again. And him. And someday, him. Even if it means she has to make the last drop of her career.... and of her life.
