Introduction
Intro to the Three
It's a bright and beautiful day in Equestria as Celestia's sun shines brightly in the clear sky, all the little ponies going about their daily lives without a worry in the world. A young teenage colt sits at his window, peering over the lush lands with a bored expression on his face, his mother busy with royal duties, his aunt asleep for the day until the coming night. Looking towards Ponyville, he spots a small smoke trail from the local train arriving to town from the Crystal Empire, the same place his cousin lives.
"Man, I'm bored. Wish something interesting would happen." a young colt says with a heavy sigh, tho he should be careful about what he wishes.
Meanwhile in Ponyville, a high pitch whistle alerts the town's ponies of the train's arrival as it pulls to a stop at the town station. As the passengers leave the train, a cerulean blue colt dressed in skinny jeans and a purple sweater with a beanie atop his head, steps off and stretches his stiff limbs from a long trip.
"Mm-man, what a relief to finally stretch my hooves after such a long ride." the mysterious colt says to himself while readjusting the straps of his bags.
He begins walking through town while observing the cheerful town around him, a content smile on his face as he greets passing ponies. Then a thought occurs on what could make this day better, a nice cup of tea, so he ventures forth in search of a Cafe. As he walks down the road, he pulls out his silver pocket watch to check the time and when he sees the picture held inside, his demeanor saddens but he quickly shakes it off and continues his walk to the Cafe.
He soon finds a nice quaint Cafe and takes a seat at an empty table, then orders a cup of tea and waits patiently while taking in the sights of this beautiful day.
"Um... excuse me mister but is this seat taken?" a young mare ask, standing next to the table.
"Hmm? No, no. Please, have a seat." he replies, gesturing to the empty seat. "May I have the name of the angel that decided to sit with me?"
"Oh... it's Sweetie belle. He he." she says while blushing, looking away with a small smile. "What's yours?"
"It's Dragoon Skyfrost, at your service miss Sweetie Belle. Call me Draco" he replies while offering the seat, causing her to blush more.
They both sit down and begin chatting about various things, such as favorite hobbies and interest, laughing and smiling whenever they share a joke. But their attention is then drawn to the sound of a commotion resonating from a gathered crowd, chatter filling the air as more ponies gather around.
30 minutes earlier
A caravan rolls along a dirt road, heading into the small town of Ponyville with a young stallion laying in the back. An albino white stallion dressed in a pair of dirty, ripped blue jeans and a equally dirty gray muscle shirt with a black duster coat and stetson hat.
*Yawn*"Weather sure is nice, not a cloud in the sky." he says out loud, while tilting his hat upward.
After a few minutes of napping, the caravan nears the small town and the stallion sits up while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He then stands up and gathers his things, a duffel bag with a knapsack, and then hops off the wagon. Once on the ground, a green flash washing over him, changing his white exoskeleton to a dark brown coat and his mane to a ebony black. With the transformation complete, he begins walking into town until his stomach rumbles, demanding food; so he searches about for a place to grab a bite to eat, finding it in the form of a nearby apple stand.
"Excuse me miss, but could ah get some apples?" he ask after approaching the stand and getting the attention of the young mare running the stand.
"Well sure. How many Mister?" she replies while smiling, her azure eyes looking into his ice blue eyes.
"Ah'll have 'bout ah dozen." he answers, she pulls out a paper bag and fills it up with delicious red and green apple.
"That'll be 6 bits please." she responds with a smile, handing him the paper bag as he hands her the 6 bits.
With his bag of apples in hand, he nods his head in thanks and begins trotting down the dirt road while pulling out an apple to munch on. While he eats his apples, he never notices the young mare watching me as he walks away, a small pink tint on her cheeks as she giggles to herself.
"He's kinda cute, ah wonder if he's got ah special somepony?" *giggle*
45 minutes earlier
Over in the Everfree forest, all is not quiet and peaceful as the sounds of howling and growling from the many beast of the forest resonates through the air before falling silent as a lone pony walks out of the tree-line with an odd blade drawn and held in his right hand. Dressed in black cargo pants and a small sleeveless muscle shirt with a black and red jacket, elbow length fingerless gloves over his hands and a bandanna over his scared left eye.
In one swift motion, he slides the blade into the sheath with flawless precision and tucks a black cloth around the scabbard to properly conceal the weapon, then slings it over his shoulder.
"Heh heh phew, that was some good practice. Might just have to return for another round." he says while rolling his shoulder, his sword strapped onto his back.
He begins walking into town with his hands resting behind his head as he whistles a familiar tune, the hood of his jacket flipped over his head so as to draw less attention. While walking down the dirt road, he takes a moment to observe the town as its occupants go about their daily activities. A gurgling form his stomach alerts him to hunger, so as he walks about, he 'accidentally' bumps into some random ponies. He apologizes and moves on, no pony ever noticing their wallets getting a 'bit' lighter as his gets a 'bit' heavier.
He continues to trot down the road until he bumps into a stallion in a duster coat and before he can walk away, the stallion grabs the hooded colt's arm. Confused, the colt looks at the stallion as the stallion in turn looks at the colt, their eyes meeting with conflicting colors of ruby red to icy blue.
"Hay brat, hands off ma bits. Ah don't take kindly ta pick-pocketing." he says in a serious tone, the colt smirks as he replies, "Heh heh. Wanna fight about it? You look pretty tough geezer."
Back at the Cafe'
With his curiosity peeked, Draco stands up and makes his way over to the gathered crowd, then he begins pushing his way to the center to see what all the commotion is about. In the center, he spots two armed ponies battling it out, a hooded colt armed with a black and red blade , the other a young stallion in a duster with a stetson hat armed with twin revolvers, one a pure white with ebony black engraves along the side of the barrel and body, the other pistol a complete opposite. With blade to guns, they hold their ground in a collision stale-mate.
"What in Celestia's name is going on here?" he wonders quietly.
Celestia suddenly sneezes while in the middle of royal duties, a nearby guard asks if she is ok which she replies, " I am quite alright, just a simple sneeze."
The two fighting ponies ready up for another collision attack, the hooded colt dashing towards the stallion as the stallion aims his guns down range at the colt. Everypony closing their eyes as the inevitable plays out in front of them.
*BANG* *SHINK*
When they all open their eyes, jaws drop upon what they see, snow white crystal walls sprouting in front of both fighting ponies. Two bullets buried in one crystal wall as the blade is embedded into the other crystal wall. Both ponies equally shock along with the audience of ponies gathered around them, A sky blue unicorn colt standing between the two with horn aglow a white shade.
"HEY HEY, you two mind not fighting in the middle of public? You're disturbing the peace." he comments while looking between the two ponies.
The stallion lowers his pistols while the hooded colt frees his blade from the crystal then rests it on his shoulder. Draco lowers his hands and diminishes the crystal shields, then straightens his posture to properly address the two.
"HALT!" a royal guard orders as a squad of guards surround the three armed ponies.
With the same thought in mind, Draco creates a quick dust cloud as the other two make a quick getaway, the hooded colt taking flight on his dark red wings, the young stallion running down a nearby alley way, and Draco oping to simply teleport away in a quick flash of light. When the dust clears, the guards find them to be gone, and so they begin searching for them.
