"No, Mr. Sabre, she is not available! I can not simply get her out of the fertility ward."
"I'm done with you.. Overide seventy eight point twenty four, Master Sabre Bravo Beta Three."
"Sir! You can not do that it's r-"

"It worked? I'm going to- Sabre! What are you doing here?"
"Now listen to me very carefully, I need you to leave there immediately and head for a shuttle-"
"What? Why?"
"It's back, they're back, just dont tell anyone just get moving!"
"Sabre! Your scaring me-"
"Dont argue, just get to a shuttle now!"
"This isnt happening, this cant be happening!"
"Go Lavender! Get out of there now!"
The flat hologram fizzed out, leaving Sabre in the darkness of the dark cavern.
"Shit..."
"<...Sabre.. hurry up and get out of the mines, I don't want your wife crying in my lap." A voice non-nonchalantly said in his ear-piece as he slowly crept though the dark tunnels.
"if I don't make it.. take care of her please.." Sabre said into his mouth-piece, standing in front of the mutilated corpse of his squad-member, Kiak Sea, when suddenly a loud yelp alerted him to the presence of a dismembered pony head flying at him, several tentacles trailing from it's spine. It wrapped around his armored neck, trying to dismember his head. He quickly brought up his hooves and stood up on his hind legs, trying to tear off the offending divider segment. With a dull tearing sound, he ripped off the necrohoof and throw it on the ground and reared up, slamming his left hoof on it, shattering it with a fleshly pop. Slowly bringing up his right hoof, he tapped on his left wrist, causing the long digital display running along his spine to change from a small yellow segment, to a full green line. With renewed strength, he tapped on the door in font of him's holographic display, causing it to whirl open in different segments. He slowly trotted into another segment of the mines, his clopping echoing through out the tunnels, when suddenly an atmospheric vent in the ceiling directly in-front him shattered open, and a pony fell down, but this was no ordinary pony. This pony had another set of limbs coming out of it's shoulders, the limbs were bent forward, and at their tip were long, curved blades. It's helmet was torn off, revealing a mutilated head with it's neck expanded, it's voice-box torn apart into a guttural red mess. It let out a wet, bloody sound resembling a moan and a roar mixed before it charged directly into a long javelin, which instantly pierced through it's brain all the way to it's spine, disabling it's flapping jaws while leaving it's other gruesome instruments ready to kill. The spike had stunned it monetarily enough for Sabre to run up to it, and buck it in the face, shattering it and it's shoulders. He then stood over the creature and repeatedly stomped on it, filling the tunnel with sounds of shattering and squishing. When he finally realized the extent of his commotion, the many other vents around him shattered, and many mutilated horrors jumped out.
Shit.. He though, then immediately ran away, in the direction of the mine's exit. The many horrors were almost upon him, when he brought up his right hoof as he ran, and slammed it down on the ground, causing a light blue wave to wave around him and crash into the necrohoofs, immediately slowing them down to a near standpoint. He took this opportunity to dash up to the mine's exit and opened it, running quickly inside and locking the door. He breathed a sigh of relief and slowly sat down, his helmet quickly snapping off into sections and climbing into his suit. He wiped the sweat off his small mane when his radio turned on.
<....This is Hooves Tiedpony requesting all units to retreat to government sector, this is not a drill.
Fuck him... I have to get to Lavender! He thought as his helmet quickly closed up, as he stood up and trotted up to the entrance to the medical sector. As he opened the door, he saw a gunship, and immediately he recognised it as Col. Rainbow Dash's. Before he could talk to her however, she opened fire on him.
"Rainbow! Stop! It's me! Sabre!" His plea had no effect as she kept firing at him, he quickly huddled into cover and thought of something. His horn quickly lit up as he grabbed onto an explosive barrel with magic, and he threw it into the gunship. The barrel detonated with a loud bang, knocking the gunship out of the air.
"Rainbow! What the hell do you think your doing?"
"I have orders to terminate Lavender, because of her involvement in the oracle program, and I cant let you stop me."
"The oracle program?" He questioned
"Some equinologist shit.." Rainbow muttered into the radio, flying away.
Dammit.. I have to get to Lavender.. now! He thought as he spotted a docked gunship.
Hah, this'l be easier than I thought.. He concluded as he trotted towards the gunship, tearing open the hatch and climbing in and sitting in the cockpit.
"Lavender.. Lavender are you there? Lavend-"
"Sabre... calm down!"
"Why arent you off the station yet?"
"The evacuation was quickly ordered, I couldnt get out before everyone else tried to.. it's a real massacre here! You gotta get me!"
"Hold on.. I'm coming." He reassured her as he turned off the radio, taking off, in the direction of the hospital.
Well there it is, after one hour in development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait. This is my longest fan-fiction so far and I hope you like it. Obviously this is based on the dead space series, to be exact Dead Space 2: Severed, a 2 chapter DLC that follows the adventures of Gabe Weller, who appeared in the Wii spinoff Dead Space: Extraction, which took place before the original dead-space which launched the entire series into incredible success. Now some news on my other fic "Were it so easy" Due to some difficulties, I will only work on it after this is finished, and to make sure I get this finished fast I'l do it in all of my free-tie but rest assured I will try and make it the best I can. I apologize if I leave some stuff out, I have never really played the DLC and I' only basing my story on the plot summary in the dead space wiki. I'l have the next chapter up tomorrow.
The gunship slowly touched down on the roof of the hospital, the engines cooling down. As Sabre opened the hatch, trotting out of the gunship and onto the roof, heading in the direction of the rooftop access, magically activating the holographic system, opening the door with a hiss and whir of gears. As he slowly crept through down the stairs, the automated lighting turning on every step he took, when suddenly a vent adjacent to him broke open, a thin twitchy pony breaking out, it's helmet torn off in the mouth-plate. It quickly slashed Sabre's armor extremely fast, it's arms a blur. Sabre backed away quicly, his armour lacerated, and threw a stasis bolt out of his arm, slowing the creature down to normal speeds. He then magicked a broom and launched it into the creature's skull, sending it toppling back into the vent and down into a ventilation fan, spraying chunks and blood up. Sabre quickly galloped down the stairs and tried initiating a communication with Lavender, but failed.
"Fuck.." He muttered, slowly trotting through a hallway devoid of light. He quickly found himself standing in-front of the door that lead to the express elevator, which would allow him to reach Lavender faster. He tried activating it, but there was no power to it. He tapped onto a red segment of the wall beside the door, opening itself into different sections, revealing a small vent that went passed the elevator. He climbed in and crawled through, the sound of metal breaking behind him and a dull drop and crawling in the opposite direction unnerved him as he crawled out of the vent, in the elevator shaft. He fell down only a couple feet, on-top of the elevator. He was about to open the shaft and and crawl into the elevator, when he heard a voice inside.
"No! Get awa-" The voice was cut off as a loud electrical soun erupted from inside the elevator. The elevator descended several levels and stopped, the sound of it's doors open easily heard. After a few seconds of waiting, Sabre opened the hatch and looked inside, he saw his superior Rainbow Dash sprawled across the floor, smoke drifting from the side of her neck. He quickly entered the elevator and went through the open doors, finding himself on Lavender's floor. He galloped through the dark corridors, bodies mangled everywhere, monsters pouring out of the vents as ponies ran in a panic, quickly being massacred. He ran through the crowd of ponies and Necrohoofs, pushing them aside as he ran towards where his waypoint was directing him to Lavender. He quickly charged into a docking bay, to see two white coated ponies carrying Lavender by the arms getting grabbed from her by severely mutated ponies, there legs stuck together and their mouths ending in sharp proboscis, slicing into the ponies heads.
"Sabre!"
"Get in the shuttle!"
The creatures unlatched themselves from the white-coated ponies, who were now mutated into Necrohoofs, bladed limps rising from their shoulders. Sabre quickly magicked some loose piping into the cretaures, sticking them into the floor.
"Sabre... your still alive.. I thought you were dead.."
"Lav, get that ship ready for takeoff."
"I'l try."
Warning.. security lockdown. The hospital bulkhead are protected from unauthorized overrides. A computerized voice rang out from the intercom.
"I"m going to have to force the airlock open from out here, stay in the ship you don't have a suit for the vaccum." Sabre stated, trotting up to a covered terminal. He ripped the covering off with his magic and stick his hooves into the circuitry, a digital screen showing him the status of his hack of the system.
"Hold tight honey.."
When he was nearly done with the hack, he was pulled away from the terminal by none other than his superior, Rainbow Dash who was nearly dead, her head slashed, her coat burned and cut off, and one of her eyes gouged out. She quickly pulled a grenade from her belt and activated it.
"Just... following.. orders.." She muttured before they entered into a wretsling match over the grenade. Shortly Sabre overpowered her and smashed the side of her head, dropping her body of the grenade, when it detonated with a loud hiss. He fell to the floor, his helmet smashed and one of his legs ripped off.
"Lav.. Rainbow set of a grenade."
"Oh Celestia!"
"I'm not going to make it."
"No.. thats not possible!"
"I can open the bay doors for you out here, you can get away, you and the baby."
"Lav."
"Sabre."
"I love you." He said as the radio shut off, a necrohoof crashed out of a vent, with many others following it. He used what little magic he could on the airlock doors, willing them to open. With extreme effort, they shot open and he and the necrohoofs were pulled towards the open space, the air dragging them. He quickly grabbed onto a flailing piece of metal as the necrohoofs around him flew out, and his radio opened.
"..Goodbye Lav.. I love you.." He muttured as the bay doors closed, recompressing the room shortly.
"Sabre! SABRE! SAAABREE!" Lavender yelled into the radio, sobbing as it closed.
